Imp: light dusty musty floral like you would find at your Great Auntie's armoire
Wet on Me: still a dusty musty floral
Drying Down: okey dokey now. air freshener rose, lilac and bandaids.
Dry: yeah. Rose and Lilac teamed up to become bullies on my skin. -
Imp: okay. cake. sugary cake
Wet on Me: cake cake cake. Cakeity cakes. I think I amp sugar scents. But we will find out!
Drying Down: less cake. slight vanilla. no currents....yet
Dry: vanilla cake. the currants finally came out of hiding but are only a shadow that adds a slight sharpness under the vanilla cake. I'm really not a foodie scent person. at least a baked goods foodie scent. -
Imp: powdery musky rose
Wet on Me: ugh. man rose does not even wait 30 seconds before starting the full blown hate on my skin
Drying Down: yup. rose
Dry: still rose. still rose that hates me. I'll keep trying. -
Imp: rose and jasmine are fighting to the death under my nose
Wet on Me: now I get that 'cat-pee' note people mention about and rose.....
Drying Down: Why does rose loathe me so? it's like I'm a red-headed step child
Dry: yuppers....I keep trying with rose and it keeps hating on me -
Simply cool, the essence of Lounge: the scent of a crisp pomegranate martini.Imp: oh hello lovely pomegranate! your color is sultry and sexy and lux. Your scent is the same
Wet on Me: oh lovely dark tempting pomegranate I do love how you love my skin
Drying Down: this pom is wonderful! really not getting the booze but dayum honey you wank!
Dry: By all the gods this is divine! I need a gallon of this to bathe in!! -
Imp: dark and sleepy. powdery whisps from the musk
Wet on Me: only thing I can slightly pick out is the musk
Drying Down: oh c'mere shy patchouli I smell you in the shadows
Dry: this is dark and sexy and luxe but not sinister. It's dark temptation leading you on to.... -
Imp: thyme, lavender and faintest orange
Wet on Me: Oh Hai thyme! You will be most present under my nose, the mint is trying to reign in the thyme
Drying Down: Thyme grabbed her stompy boots and is stompin all over all the other notes making them stay away
Dry: Thyme. making me hungry! -
Imp: Grass and carnations
Wet on Me: more chrysanthemum and carnation...the grass is fading
Drying Down: oh mother of god the rose and lily found my nose! here comes the headache.
Dry: yeah......I amp rose and I amp lily and they give me headaches every time. to the Trade pile! -
Imp: Sage and Cedar
Wet on me: Much more cedar than sage on my skin initially.
Drying Down: not getting the bay leaf but the sage is keeping the cedar from really overpowering everything. Cedar can be such a strong note.
Dry: This is definitely a more masculine scent. the sage and cedar blend beautifully. I can't pick out the bay leaf but that maybe that note that blends the others together so we.. I like this! -
Imp: totally getting the mandarin.
Wet on Me: citrus...sweet citrus but not sugar sweet. soft tempering the sharpness that citrus can bring
Drying Down: I think the fig is adding the softness almost a powder-y type note to the mandarin
Dry: light, happy, sweet soft mandarin. -
Imp: mmmm dark, comfroting, tea and red musk
Wet on Me: still getting the tea and the red musk but getting the faintest traces of the mandarin. holy tish this is addictive and good
Drying Down: more red musk than tea right now. faint traces of the tobacco. Still adoring this one!
Dry: seriously lush, and sexy! heady but addictive. KEEPER!!!! -
Whip
in Ars Amatoria
Imp: WOAH rose. air freshener rose
Wet on Me: ugh amping rose.
Drying Down: not getting any leather. my skin is amping this into epic proportions.
Dry: sigh. I keep hoping eternal I'll find a rose that works on me. but I keep amping rose notes to high heaven and they come back to me as rose air freshener. I never got the leather and that makes me sad. -
Imp: green. green and traces of salt
Wet on Me: green. tears and that odd note that is slightly coppery. Blood?
Drying Down: the sharp tang of the blood, the salty tears and that green note are all dancing a ring around the rose-y under my nose.
Dry: this has dried to smell like old scented drawer liners. The kind you found in an older relative's home where they kept their hankies. It's okay but not for me. -
Imp: dark, slightly heady, mysterious
Wet on Me: woods and opium. so far so good.
Drying Down: it's got a sweet but not sugar sweet powdery vibe going now. less opium less forest
Dry: powder. I wish this was more like a forest when all was said and done. but it's powder. alas. -
Imp: Lime and violet over some wood notes
Wet on Me: more violet over wood now
Drying Down: mellowing out now. I detect the faintest trace of lilac but the violet and wood are keeping it from amping and going bad on me.
Dry: I get sweet and wood from the tonka, the violet has softened now to a sweet feminine masculine scent. -
Imp: I get a metallic feel but a deep warm gleaming metallic
Wet on Me: getting the amber note before it turns to powder and the cedar
Drying Down: amber and cedar and working together I get gleaming metal ooooh wait! Helloooooo Citrus!!!!
Dry: This is fabulous. This is the rail car from the old Wild Wild West series. warm, rich, glowing, metal. I adore this!!! -
Imp: dark almost medicinal sharpness which I chalk up to the evergreens and the clove and mint are the medicinal over the orange blossom
Wet on Me: This is a dark forest in the middle of the night. a touch spooky. more mint now over the tobacco and trees
Drying Down: ahhhh there is the powdery notes of the black musk. black musk, evergreen, faint faint clove, smells dark and 'old'
Dry: I can't hate this. Smells 'old' 'ancient', dark, hypnotic, mesmerizing! -
Imp: dark herbal and sweet
Wet on Me: mmmmm i get that dark herbal with the pale foundation of honey sweetness.
Drying Down: oooh oooh oooh the honey note is overpowering the dark herbal note. not sure about this....
Dry: I'm sad. It's mostly honey on me with a faint trace of the nightshade herbal note. I'm not always fond of honey scents. I think I amp them bad. -
Imp: bubbly oceanic aquatic
Wet on Me: Oh hi! Why do you smell like a happy scent? a happy bubble ocean water lil scent
Drying Down: the ocean/aquatic note is less prominent now, but I'm getting the bergamot and ambergris now. This is still a bubbly happy scent
Dry: Sweet, seaside, floral happy scent. -
Yipe!
in Halloweenie
Decant: Sharp deep dark boozy black cherry. Not quite sinister but definitely leaning to the dark side
Wet on Me: oh hello black cherry. getting a faint ghost whisper of the cream and the blackberry is gently rounding it out.
Drying Down: The sharp dark black cheery has mellowed big time now it's a dark berry tinged sweet cream under my nose
Dry: okay that dark black cherry sharpness came back a wee bit at dry but tempered or evened out by the cream. This is a fun kicky scent! -
Imp: creamy aquatic? but not sweet. creamy aquatic
Wet on Me: definitely an ocean/sea note. fresh. upbeat
Drying Down: this is fresh sea water that has this creamy undertow base. not treacherous or dangerous, but more the sand bed the ocean flows over
Dry: the milk keeps this from going 'brine-y' this is fresh and lovely. not heady or to whispy. -

Imp: Sniffin the imp I get the lavender and the eucalyptus
Wet On Me: oooooo mostly lavender when first applied. The Lab does such terrific lavenders
Drying Down: the eucalyptus is ramping up now. giving it a medicinal sharpness to the lavender
Dry: wow. once dry this gets very'quiet'on my skin really faint kinda sweet lavender. perhaps the licorice finally softened the sharpness -
Imp: sweet but floral. not a pure white floral a kind of yellow green floral and sweet
Wet on me: now the yellow-green floral is wafting harder than the sweet. not a complete 'sugar' or 'honey' sweet
Drying Down: oh the swwet is back over the floral which is more green floral almost a sharp herbal floral
Dry: Sweet. can't quite describe the sweet. and far underneath is the sharp herby green. Glad I got to try this one.

Imp: musk and sandalwood
Wet on me: this is dark swirling headiness, all musk and incense
Drying Down: rapidly turning into baby powder incense. i tend to turn amber notes into baby powder.
Dry: the baby powder notes faded to a smooth incense scent.
