Imp: Tea and rose
Wet on Me: rose, tea and the gladiola now
heavy almost sticky in scent
Drying Down: Gardenia is pushing its way to
the front now. With the rose following in its wake
Dry: thick and heady deep gardenia and
rose with barest hints now of the tea and the gladiola.
Very heavy fragrance. Too heavy for me. This needs rehoming
-
Imp: Cherry. Not almond cherry but real deep cherry
Wet on Me: Still cherry on first sniff, Sniff deeper and a
sweetness blooms
Drying Down: incense cherry now
Dry: OOOOO I smell Mahogany now..and cherry
almost a cherry pipe tobacco scent. Not bad as an imp.
-
Imp: floral and rotted wood (vetiver?)
Wet On Me: More floral now..less rotted wood
Drying Down: sharp spicy floral. Smells ancient
Dry: no rotting wood…just sharp aquatic spicy flowers
This is iffy for me. Might need to re-home
-
Imp: Dark and Dank and rotting
Wet on Me: wet rotting wood? Still dark and Dank…like an old cellar
Drying Down: This is a burnt out forest right after the fire and a quick rain. Smoke and Rot.
Dry: Oh this is too much for me. Not my bag baby. Off to the rehoming pile this goes.
-
Imp: Totally a men’s cologne vibe at first sniff.
I smell the sharp of mint and rosemary and geranium
Wet on Me: Green cool herbal crispness. Nose-to-hand.
Drying Down: This is wafting up to my nose and just
slaying me in a good way. I know I have to try this on the Bird.
Mint offsets the rosemary and the rose geranium peeps up between them…
Dry: More white musk joining the play but still this is total
I swiped my boyfriend’s sweater and I wear it constantly. MUST HOARD!
-
Imp: Lilac first and the barest hint of citrus lurking underneath
Wet on Me: Now lime and citron over the lilac
Drying Down: I would not think this totally masculine,
but rather more unisex. Stong lime now, with the lilac undertones and
the barest of whispers of white musk coming out.
Dry: Lime and Lilac but good lilac. And balanced out by a
white musk that is not overpowering at all. This smells like hot sticky humid
Deep South in the spring. Really nice. I think it’s a keeper.

Imp: Clean and Mint…almost Mouthwash
Wet on Me: Crisp. The mint recedes a tad but still crisp
Drying Down: Still a wee bit of mint and the ozone shines more now.
Not getting a strong eucalyptus yet but that is okay.
Dry: Cool, clean crisp ozone and mint but not peppermint…
but the coolness that mint brings. It has that smell of snow is coming
that the air gets around here in the winter.
-
Imp: Oh this is rose alrighty. I’m almost afraid to try it
Wet On Me: strong powder room rose.
Drying Down: really strong rose. Almost makes my
Eyes water. Not getting any cinnamon yet.
Dry: now the cinnamon comes out and it becomes cinnamon
Covered powder room roses
This goes on the re-homing pile
ADDED March 5:
Imp: rose…..
Wet on Me: More rose but that faint hint of cinnamon
Drying Down: The cinnamon and the amped rose are not playing
nicely on my skin. And I’m not sure how to make them go to their separate corners.
Dry: My body seems to make rose go all canned air freshener on
me. I smell live roses and they are lovely, but put rose on me and
whammo…no likey Coldie. To be re-homed
-
Not sure how I received an imp of this but I will treasure it:
Imp: Spicy…almost dragon’s bloodish spicy.
Wet on Me: still a spicy I know but can’t quite put my nose on it
Drying Down: spicy, rich, deep a tad resiny and incensy.
Dry: Smells ancient and mysterious and all knowing.
Feels like a scent I’ll save for ritual purposes.

I just got a YC catalogue in the mail with a 'new' "Autumn Leaves" scent...I have never smelled Samhain or Autumn Lodge, but this is available now and may smell like it. (???) One can always hope, right?I adore Autumn Leaves from YC. When autumn comes around I go and hoard this like crazy! The Car gels, tarts, votives etc etc etc. Smells to me kist like Autumn. Now...if I could find a BPAL that smells just like it? I'm all over it!

SW Award Frimp
Imp: grassy cucumbers.
Wet on Me: Green astringent cucmbers.
Drying Down: now going musty cucumbers.
Dry: Stale cucumber. no more grass.
Kinda Musty. I have mixed feelings on this one.
-
SW Award Frimp
Imp: GREEN! An herbal-y green with the
slightest touch of aquatic.
Wet on Me: Now an almost evergreen piney green.
Drying Down: now I get a very astringent evergreen.
Dry: More herbal comes back now over the
evergreen. This started almost swampy but has finished very crisp.
This one is a trickster me thinks.
-
SW Award Frimp
Imp: I get musk. A soft exotic musk
Wet on Me: Sweet but not sugary sweet.
Still getting a soft exotic musk with light spice undercurrents.
Drying Down: heavenly. exotic, almost
opulent. Not getting any rose on this.
Dry: Divinely yummy on me. Should be even
more so on the man.
-
Lab Frimp from last order
Imp: Mint first and then the eucalyptus
swimming underneath
Wet on Me: Mint & eucalyptus with the
barest teasing whisper of neroli
Drying Down: Still strong mint on top
and then traces of the eucalyptus now. The violet &
neroli are playing hide and seek with my nose.
Dry: Violet now over a minty
eucalyptus. This is different. Imps are nice.

This is honeydew melon. It was honeydew when I smelled it in the imp.
It was honeydew as I put it on me. It stayed honeydew drying down.
And remained honeydew when dry. I get no other noews from this,
but honey dew. My Honey likes honeydew...but I'm not sure if he wants\
to smell it on me!

Imp: Woodsy & green and PINE! Shine!
Wet on me: Lovely, evergreen. pine. This
so smells like winter to me.
Drying Down: Still lovely crisp evergreen but
wait? Do I detect an underlying sweetness? berries? Mint?
Oh my!
Dry: Christmas/Yule. Sweety snowy evergreens
in the woods. HUZZAH! This is the lurve! Must have bottle!
-
Imp: Orange blossom! This reminds me of Florida.
Wet on Me: More Orange blossom with some hints
of green behind it.
Drying Down: Still lovely orange Blossom now with
the barest whiffs of apricot teasing me.
Dry: The orange blossom has the sharper note and the
apricot gives it a sweet whisper. I don't get any of the white musk
out of this in my nose. This is lovely. Keeping the imp!
-
Imp: Almond/Cherry. Very sweet.
Wet on Me: That overpowering, over
sweet almond/cherry scent is all I can discern
Drying Down: Now it's honey and Rootbeer?
Dry: The root beer is gone, the almond/cherry
is gone anow it's just sweet. Honey sweet.
Nice as an imp, not really going to be a bottle for me.
-
Imp: A flower garden. Floral and green.
Wet on me: I know this note but I can't put
a finger on it. Warm & sunny, flower & green.
Drying Down: Flowers with a back trace of green
now. Sunny and summer and bright!
Dry: Really bugging me that I know the note but
can't remember the name for it. Tip of the tongue thing. Smells
almost like a flower shop. Is this Sunflower? Now I need to go
and smell one.
Love this. Eventually bottle worthy
-
Imp: Happy Floral & fruit. Melon?
Wet on Me: Melon and green. Lovely.
Drying Down: Floral fruit salad but does not
smell foodie.
Dry: Delicate dancing fruity floral sweetness.
Very much as I imagined Titania herself would smell. LOVE!
This is a great young teen scent. Bottle worthy!
-
Imp: aquatic and green.
Wet on Me: Still marine/aquatic but tiny
hints of ozone dancing in.
Drying Down: Heavy but not choking or
overwhelming. It's the heavy air right before the storm.
Wet, green and clean.
Dry: Electric. Rain. Ozone. Energy. LOVE!
Totally bottle worthy! Rev'ved me right up!
-
Imp: Lovely Peach & bergamot
Wet on Me: more peach & bergamot
but not overwhelming.
Drying Down: Smells like what I thought a faery
would smell like. Light fruit and citrus and barest floral with a
tiny hint of the musk peeing thru.
Dry: Quieter now, but not gone. Ethereal. Much like
I would imagine a faery to flit in and out around you, the scent
does the same to me.
I love this. Must keep. Bottle worthy!
-
Imp: Barest of ozone, and fresh laundry on
the line. Bare citrus in the background. White with a hint
of green
Wet on Me: White! White clean flowers but,
not overly sweet white flowers.
Drying Down: Clean laundry but not a soapy scent.
Like Laundry drying on the line outdoors on a summer day.
Dry: Totally a blue jeans and t-shirt scent.
I love this! Bottle worthy
-
Bottle: Hay & grass on first sniff. Like a
grassy meadow in late summer
Wet on Me: Lovely grass and hay with the
amber quietly coming out to play.
Drying Down: Grass and amber now with
the spice of the cardamom joining the fun.
Dry: Crisp clean grass with hay and it is all
softened by the amber and spiced gently by the cardamom.
This is the love. Glad I managed to get a bottle of this.

Imp: Sweet but incense-y.
Wet on Me: Very sweet. Not but sugar sweet.
Spicy sweet. Incense-y sweet
Drying Down: Heavy powder now. Sweet like
a baby powder and heavy.
Dry: Turned to powder and stayed there for me.
I’m sure it will be quite lovely for someone else. To be re-homed.
