  1. In the bottle - Mmmmm, I like this! Smells like ocean air right before it starts to rain, with underlying citrus note

On me - Uhhh, it smells like Honeydew melon. No one has mentioned anything yet about this scent smelling like Honeydew, so I'm wondering if my nose is broken. I like this, definately, but it's not what I was expecting.

I'm going to have to try this again. If anyone else smells Honeydew, please post your findings, as right now I think I'm going nuts!

  2. In the bottle - yup, I agree, it smells like cherry cough syrup. Really strong cherry cough syrup

Wet - Cherries and wood, smells more like cedar than mahogany to me

Dry - It mellows into a nice, cherry scent will a cedar/woodsy undertone. Doesn't last that long, I needed to reapply after about 3 hours.

Overall, I like the Red Queen, but not enough to buy a bottle.

  3. In the bottle - Metallic and fruity.

Wet - Still a little metallic, but the musks are starting to come out

Dry - the metallic smell is completely gone, replaced with a warm, amazing scent - musky, and I can smell the fig undertone, plus a little something extra, which is probably the black currant and dragon's blood. (This is my first try of anything with dragon's blood.)

Overall - I really, really love it! On the list for a big bottle.

  4. In the bottle - Whoa, hello almonds! Sweet almonds!

Wet - still very sweet and very almondy

Dry - the almond and sweetness have calmed down, and the rose and the orange peel have come out and taken over. It smells floral, with a sweet undertone, and a tiny, tiny bit of spice, but not much.

Nice, but I don't know if I'd order a bottle of it. It lasted about 3-4 hours and then needed reapplying.

  5. I have 8 BPAL imps right now, these are my first, and so far, Vixen is my favourite.

I loved the scent in the bottle, it was more orange and less ginger and patchouli. Wet, it stayed about the same. After it dried, the orange toned down a bit, and the patchouli and ginger were more prominent. It made me feel sexy, and I absolutely adore the scent.

Big thank you to Lushalot, umm, ahh, I think she's Ultraviolet over here.

  6. I wasn't too sure of this one when I smelled it in the bottle, but the pine and earth scents are wonderful. I used it after taking a shower, I shampooed with Narcotick, conditioned with Jungle, and washed with Middle Earth Turns to Rock (all Lush products), then put on Thanatopsis. It was a combination made in heaven. I have still only tried a few BPAL scents, but I'm thinking about buying a bottle of this one.

  7. ... This oil blend is a serene, soothing Indian blend, created to bring calm and joy to the heart and peace to the spirit. Sandalwood, jasmine, rose, patchouli, cedarwood and lemongrass.

I didn't like Namaste at first, the lemongrass didn't seem to mix well with the other notes. After drying for about an hour, the lemongrass calmed down, and it turned into a very nice scent, although to me, a very masculine scent. It didn't last that long, about 3 hours or so.

I wouldn't buy this one for me, but I'll definately use the imp. I'm going to try to get hubby to try it, as it may be just amazing on him.

ETA - Hubby put some on. Saying that I loved it on him would be an understatement. I don't know what came over me. Unbelievable sexy!
