    Pumpkin I (2008)

In the bottle, it was coconutty, almost tropical. On my skin? Well...Did anyone ever see the movie Cabin Fever? If not, please watch this video, as this is what Pumpkin I did on me.

    Pumpkin II (2008)

Of the entire pumpkin patch this year, Pumpkin II is the only one besides the Needle where I can sniff the bottle and say "I SMELL PUMPKIN", which is the whole point of the pumpkin patch for me--I'm nutso over pumpkin scents. I absolutely adore this pumpkin; the buttery richness of the pumpkin is tempered by the tang of the woods and the bite of the leather. I hope this isn't too risque, but to me, Pumpkin II smells like bondage in the middle of a pumpkin patch. AND I LOVE IT.

It's a gentle sweet white rose scent; the rose amps up a lot on me for a bit, but fades into the honeyed cream notes. Which is basically what everyone else has said, so I'd like to add that it smells AMAZING layered over A Blade of Grass--it smells like you're rolling in a field of roses.

With all of the chocolate notes, it smells absolutely luscious and decadent in the bottle. I could sniff sniff sniff the bottle for a very long time and be perfectly content. Wet, it's a slightly nutty chocolate. After a few minutes, the chocolate fades, and it smells very strongly of dried apples. Five hours in, and it smells of dorm room incense. It's a shame, I wanted to love it, but I'm not particularly fond of how it's transformed on me and have a feeling I'll be posting it for sale shortly.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! That was the only thing I could think of to write down as I tested this one--hamster wood chips. So disappointing as I wanted to love it!
