  1. in the bottle:patchouli, plum

wet: patchouli, sandalwood, definite resinous scent

as it dries is softens, ad sweetens greatly, it becomes a plummy musk, and sandalwood blend w/ patchouli creating a spine for it to stand up with. i adore this scent

  2. in the bottle: wine, cassia (most prominent), and cognac

wet: holy wowsers, this almost burns my nose. the cassia (which i amp up btw) is LOUD

as it dries it is a myrrh, cassia, and honey mix w/ just a hint of cognac peeping in. i like it alot better after the initial cassia blast (i am a cassia fan but it stung my nose and made my throat a bit itchy for the first few seconds.)

while lucretia is the standoffish snob of scents this one is more like a fun alcholic matron, one who isn't a mean drunk, just a funny old drunk woman, with a great slur and bright red lipstick....wait i think i actually know her :P

  3. in the bottle:iris and violet, a bit powdery

    wet:slightly manadrin,vanilla musk, and violet

this is very florally, with a touch of powdery background. i believe the powdery note would be the black amber, i definitely detect the iris and violet. it is slightly musky, but only in whafts. and i don't get mandarin in dry down at all.

this one is a beautiful, sophisticated woman, someone snobbish and slightly standoffish, imho

  4. in the bottle: mead, and honeysuckle actually i googled to see if there is a honeysuckle mead (there is) i bet it would taste as good as litha smells.

wet: woah, honeysuckle a honeysuckle dropkick to be exact. slightly lurking in the background is the mead.

as it dries it turns a bit green (ivy i presume?) and still is mainly a honeysuckle scent on me, occassionally i get a whaft of carnation, and even fresh thyme...and even sometimes i think i smell lemon...maybe lemon thyme? then the mead rears up again saying hello i am still here. i personally don't get much honey.

final thoughts: (sheesh i shouldn't spend the holiday weekend whating jerry springer summarize his thoughts, now i think i must immulate him :P ) this is a spring garden party, flowers, summery sun, and freeflowing mead. all in all spring in a bottle.

  5. in the bottle:herbal, lotus, and rose.

wet: resionous, herbal, slightly sharp. really getting the pine now.

as it dries it softens a bit and the sharpness all but disappears, there is a hint of lotus, but it isn't overwhelmingly bubblegummy. i bleieve the opium and amber are grounding the bubblegummy type note. i still get quite a bit of rose, but that isn't surprising, my chemistry usually amps up rose.

final thoughts ala jerry springer: i am not surprised beth went a completely surprising direction. while this could have been the perfect opportunity to go omg bubbalicious she chose to show me exactly how lotus can be used and still have a grownup, resinous scent. this blend is a fabulous representation of just that. a grown up lotus blend that doesn't scream bazooka at all. i am glad i went against my initial plans and ordered more then one bottle. i will definitely wear this as a summer girly scent.

  6. Carceri d'Invenzione, Giovanni Battista Piranesi.
Redwood, red sandalwood, black pepper, blonde tobacco and frankincense.

in the bottle:sweet, almost juicy scent looking at the notes i wonder what exactly is giving me the juicy impression it reminds me a bit of a sweet musk.

wet:exact same, i see this as a deep juicy red scent i detect the tobbacco, and red sandalwood the greatest. liking this scent alot.

as it dries it is still a sweet scent but not in the foody sweet way. it is just a nice round "reddish" type scent, but not a cinnamon type red. the frankencense is there but more as a grounding note holding it all together, rather then being up front getting all the attention. the red sandalwood is the most obvious w/ my chemistryand the tobbacco mingles beautifully w/ it. all in all this is a wonderful, sophisticated, scent. i am definitely going to be getting more!

  7. in the vial: soft amber and berries, mostly amber

    wet: woohoo amber beauty

ummmm amber. just amber...possibly something reminecent of myrrh. i loooove amber. not getting florals, or fruits, just a deep resinous amber. love this and will order na big bottle for sure.

  8. in the bottle: sweet, tea, bamboo, and dragon's blood

wet: bamboo & cherry blossom a soft floral w/ definite green undertones.

dry:yup bamboo and cherry blossom almost exclusively. they drown out anything else. it is a very green scent w/ a hint of floral thrown in.

  9. in the vial: aquatic, ozone, and breezy salt.

wet: wow this is some ozone, aquatic oil. makes my eyes water a wee bit.

i am somehow missing the carnation (boohiss) and only getting the aquatic ozone quality. it is fresh and biting, and makes my eyes water lierally. i am not one this type of scent works on, but if you enjoy ozones, aquatics, and scents reminecent of a sunny beach vacation this would be perfect for ya.

  10. in the vial:lavander and sweet cherries. an odd combo.

    wet:mostly cherry & a hint of rose

as it dries. wow. the lavander has burned away (thank goodness) and i have a cherry, rosewood, dark scented rose, w/ a hint of white musk adding a crystaline quality. this is one scent that is amazing me because i am not a fan of lavander or cherry, yet this scent works and is a beautiful medley of notes.

  11. in the bottle: butterscotch, something nutty,

wet: caramel, and yeah i agree i am getting hazelnut type vibe, vanilla, creamy yumminess.

this dries sweet, nutty, dessert type scent, but not cakelike, and the butterscotch blew away. it is just that kind of warm, yummy sweet smell of hazelnut coffee w/ a hint of cream and a spoonful of sugar.

  12. in the bottle: sweetness, and a similar green note to eden it reminds me quite a bit of eden in it's opening stages.

wet: sweet and slightly citrus, it is definitely orange blossom. and that same green note. and a hint of something that tickles my nose a bit (maybe the pepper?) also quite a strong dose of tea.

as it dries it sweetens quite a bit and the green note settles a bit, there is a fruity note i am not familiar with and i can just say "fruit" this must be kumquat. but the front note is orange blossom, and tea.

  13. in the bottle: mmmm mango. fig. delightful sweet fruitiness.

wet: wow the mango is so sweet it makes my mouth water and i see light golden juicy rings.

as it dries this is amazingly sweet, fruity and has quit a bit of tropical throw. this is a heavenly summer scent

  14. in the bottle: sweet yummy vanilla cake.

wet: ahh a hint of currant, but still mostly vanilla yummy goodness, it smells of freshly made cake.

this is light and sweet it does remind me of angel food cake, w/ currant jelly on the side. very yummy and quiet sweet and innocent smelling.

  15. in the bottle, candy, sweet pink candy w/ a hint of vanilla, i am assuming the candy scent is the sweet pea.

wet:sandalwood, vanilla, and sweet pea. reminicent of a.l. meets pink phoenix.

as it dries it remians much the same but softens. it is a sweet soft very girly scent. like a.l. yet different enough to deserve it's own spot in the big bottle line up. simply gorgeous and well done beth!

  16. all of the wee shelldoo's have their "signature scents" the list is as follows:

    melody the 13y/o: midway

    valerie 10: pink phoenix

    kolbi 6:flower moon

    landis (my wee boy):sugar cookie

i would also consider dana o shee, gingerbread poppet, bliss, milk moon, chaste moon, jailbait (rofl), dragon's milk, snow white, sybaris, black opal, antique lace, peony moon, egg nog, sugar skull, alice

  17. in the bottel 06 is a soft almost fuzzy green scent. very fresh grass like.

wet: a bit more floral, but a watery floral, and still very green.

as it dries it is soft, skin clingy, very soft skin type floral, yet the floral is just a sigh of flowers, not at boquet like. it even has a sweet edge to it. this is a gorgeous spring scent, i loved last years, and i think i will indeed love this years also.

  18. in the bottle: buttery vanilla sweetness, i like sweetness, this seems like it may be a bit *too* sweet.

    wet:buttery vanilla rum

as it dries, oh my gah! gorgeous. vanilla and sandalwood sweeteness, no need to be concerned about it being over the top. it is simply devine. perfect. i love vanilla and sandalwood combos. they are stunning, and this is no exception to that rule. i am not getting the saffron, which is a bit sad as i love saffron, yet i can't complain because this scent is gorgeous, no doubt.

i creamed my pants over these creamy underpants!

  19. in the bottle: soft, clean a slightly soapy edge.

wet: intresting light floral, w/ a clean edge.

as it dries it softens, i can detect a definite cotton blossom, and clover greeness, but it has something somewhat spicy reminecent of carnations, i think....*ponder* ahhh got it baby's breath, it is a soft white musky baby's breath w/ a green hint of fresh clover. it is spring personified, and i agree w/ the above poster it is a springtime snowbunny.

  20. to me this is alazif meets m.u. it is sexy as hell, and captures nola perfectly, it even reminds me a bit of beth, i shall cherish every single drip of it! resins, sweets, a hint of coffee w/ some lusty musks....sounds liek s scent cooked up just for me :P (i wish)

  21. doc buzzard is masculine in the bottle i think i am getting something mint like, fresh.

on it is very clean smelling w/ a hint of possibly pepper? the mint is gone doc has a woody background, like a fresh tree branch type scent, very nice and there is a resinous undertone, as well as that candle type scent brienze spoke of.

most of yall know the size of my collection by now, lets just say this will get some wear time...major weartime. i am wearing voodoo queen on one hand and doc on the other, and they are the perfect yin/yang. this will be my dh scent and i will wear voodoo queen next tikme we go out....mmmmm sexy!

  22. No scent description available.

voodoo queen: i get a soft almost powdery incence blend it is light and not powdery like baby powder maybe "dusty" is a better term. it is very resinous and yet a touch sweet to my nose. not dill pickly at all. there is something sweet here, i wish i could place it, not honey....yet something almost sugary, yet not food like. i actually am loving this, and wondering if i should give storyville a break and wear this for a few days.

as it dries a while i figured out the sweetness, i believe it is coconut milk. it is soft yet sweet and a hint coconutty, w/ an incency kick. gorgeous, and giving storyville a run for it's money.

beth took some special time w/ the c12 blends and it shows they are stunning. every single one of them

  23. in the vial: fresh is the word, followed by green

wet: yes green grass, fresh green, sweet

as it dries it goes a bit soapy, but not totally soap like, more like an herbal shampoo, yet it still retains it's fresh blade of grass likeness.

all in all of an ozoney scent not bad.
