Camping, hiking, and long walks with the dogs.[My labs are my kidz in fur coats.]

I love to take my cameras and head out for long walks, as well. A few empty memory cards and a few hours in the woods is soothing to my soul after a long week.
I read, read, and read some more; especially Neil Gaiman and Stephen King. One of my projects is to read the "Top 100" novels of the last century, but that's going slowly.

Most of my favorite music is classic rock...Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are favored. The Doors are at the top of the list, as well. You can also find Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Flogging Molly on my iPod, too.

I watch a little tv. "Lost" is a favorite, as well as a lot of History Channel and Discovery Channel programs.

What do bottles and labels look like?

    Best label ever!
  2. I've decided to put a wishlist or a to-try list here. It's for those times I read a review and think I may want to try something. I can also list notes that agree with me. ***March 15 2008*** The Scales of Deprivation Glowing Vulva Tweedledum Tweedledee Golden Priapus Smut Spider Mr Nancy 51 Port Royal Calico Jack Anti. What do bottles and labels look like?

The labels are excellent, Jennifer! You are very talented.
  5. Since I discovered Croquet earlier this summer, I've worn that on quite a few humid days. Have you looked at the reviews for 51? Some of the components are honeydew, guava, white and green musks. It's quite nice, too.
  6. Today was the first really warm day, and I couldn't decide on what to wear. I dug out an imp of 51, and it's quite nice. I think that after 8 hours, it still smells relatively true to the imp. It didn't get sour or funky on me due to the humidity.

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils

" This was my reaction with a brand new bottle of Death On A Pale Horse. I put it on Wednesday before I went to work, and by 10 am, it looked as though I had burns on my neck. It was very itchy and stung. Today [saturday], it still itches when I touch the area, but the raised welts are at least gone. Under the flourescent lights in my kitchen, I can see a rash that looks like tiny insect bites. I love the oil, and it's breaking my heart.

Spice me, baby! The spiciest BPAL blends

I'll agree with lookingglass on the Count. I got a brand new bottle from an EBay auction last week, and I've worn it every day. It's aged about 18 months, no? It's strong clove and cinnamon, and a little leather. It actually stung a little when I put it on my neck. I'm in love... I'll be haunting EBay and the forums to find another bottle for next winter....

BPAL Patchouli - there's nothing else like it

I am also very new to the whole BPAL experience. Matter of fact, my second BPAL purchase has turned me into a great fan of patchouli: PIRATE MOON From the description: "Red musk, ambergris, coconut palm, red sandalwood, balsam, date, warm leather, tobacco, ebony, lingum vitae wood, pandanus grass, an' a touch o' lime." Nope, no leather, no tobacco, and no lime.... On me, a very pretty, light patchouli. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it smells great on me.
