  1. So, I was being pretty brave trying this scent (as an imp only) as I do not tolerate spicy scents. Headache city. Boy, I am SO glad I tried this beautiful scent!! When first applied, the pumpkin spice note is pretty prominant, but I had to give it a chance and thankfully, this spicy note on me calms down pretty quickly, and along with yummy expresso, I actually begin to seriously amp the sweeter notes in this blend; sugar, milk and vanilla. The spice in this blend for the most part goes away on me, and I'm left with a sweet, warm vanilla pumpkin latte that I can actually wear. I love taking risks with scents for this reason! LOVE this blend. Now I just gotta find somebody who doesn't like their bottle of this.....hehehehe. ;)

  2. I really like this blend. Pumpkin and I normally don't get along, as I am pretty sensitive to spicy scents. This pumpkin is more subdued, I'm imagining due to the "candy floss" in this blend. It makes it not so much "buttery" to me as other posters have said, rather, just a nice rich pumpkin scent. Just a teeny bit of spice, but nothing I can't handle. As the scent evolves, the luscious blackberry scent peeks out, just enough to enhance this lovely scent beautifully. Nice job, Beth!

  3. Nom nom nom nom..........nom. Okay, thats all folks. Goodnight! Heh. :) So, just to clarify to anybody (like me) that was wondering if this was *the* Pink Sugar that everybody on the face of the planet has duped.....oh no, my friends. This is that delicious pink buttercream frosting smothered over a sweeter than sweet glazed pastry. If you love foody, get summa dis. :)

  4. WOWZAS! Holy Amaretto and cherry. WOW. Talk about intense! Once it dries, we enter phase two, and it smells like cherry coconut butter creme frosting. This phase doesnt last long, but boy is it yummeh on me. Final phase is a sort of a sweet, sugary coconut. Cherry somewhat lingers in the backround, very faintly.

  5. DESICCATED FROSTBERRY PIE FILLING PERFUME OIL
Commemorating our Black-Ribbon Award Winning Pie Filling, named Best in Show at the Celephaïs County Fair six-hundred years in a row! Plucked from the highest mountaintops of Leng, our desiccated frostberries have been certified organic by the Dreamlands Department for Environmental Concerns, Slaughter Regulation, and Sacrificial Affairs.

Oh boy. I'm first. And I suck at reviews. Eek. Well, it smells very much like it's namesake! Like sweet sugary frostberries, sans the pie.....but there's a teeny tiny tony hint of mint or something "cold" in there at the very end of the sniff....kinda lurking in the backround. This is a strong scent!

  6. Whoa. This is DARK and STRONG incense when first applied. No smoke. My first thought? Swap. TOO STRONG. Gah! But wait! After about 25-30 minutes, the musk starts to soften up a touch, and a slight sweetness from the plum comes into play and this is where it really shines. I really do like this blend. I'm interested to see how it ages! Takes about a good half hour to get the true scent. By the way, you only need a TEENY tiny drop of this on your skin!

  7. *HUGS* to my angel for getting this bottle for me at Bat's Day. You ROCK my world! This is one of my favorite BPAL scents...by far! I mean, srsly. How can you go wrong with all of these amazing notes? When first applied, I get a nice blast of maraschino cherries, a little booze, w/ a gorgeous, light vanilla creme note. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Soon, the egyptian musk comes into play pretty fast, cutting out the sweetness just a *touch*. This is absolutely, positively, simply GORGEOUS. Wow. I can't stop sniffing my wrists....... :yum:

  8. Nothing like I expected. Starts out strong, creamy and floral. Very pretty - then an herbal note sweeps in...doesn't stay long. Seems the crystalline softens up a bit. This is nice, but nothing spectacular - it ends up being a powdery sweet floral on me about an hour later........ :huh?:

  9. Goddamn it, star anise! :rantrave:

Why do you have to do this to me? I should have known better. If this blend didn't have star anise, I would probably buy stock in this perfume!

Nice blend, but I can't get past this damn star anise note. Glad I got this as a decant. :cry2:

  10. By far my favorite snake oil blend. I love sweet, and this one satisfies me to a T! It's a bit nasty in the beginning, but after 10-15 minutes, and beyond ( great throw !) it dries down a gorgeously sweet, honey tinged snake oil. Love, love, love! I got 2 5mls coming in this one!
