  1. First off, it's all fruity! Super fruit, mango and kiwi, and something more like honeydew melon. I can smell the tea in the background. I think the pink peppery note tingles my nose. As it fades down, I get a whiff of florals. Peony, I think, mixed with the fruits. I can smell the pineapple more.

It is a zesty, zippy scent.

  2. I love the currant smell, it reminds me of Prague. Then there is the spicy, swirling mix that comes up, like flowers with heady pollen. It's like a storybook painting, vivid spice and sweet berry. I like this scent.

  3. This is the ultimate summer scent for me!

I love the tangy grapefruit. It has to be red, ruby grapfruit with that delightful mix of sweet and sour. There's a warm note in here that I can't quite identify that blends with the citrus. Add a salty, aquatic tang and you have the gorgeous R'lyeh.

It's like swimming and sunlight, and orange skinned fruit. I walk around imaging evil grapefruit from under the sea.

  4. I ordered a bottle unsniffed, and I am ever so glad.

It reminds me of lying in the grass in the backyard under the ancient rose bush at my childhood home. The hot summer air made the grass smell sweet, and the giant rose bush would have fourty or five flowers all at once. I would sprawl there with my cat and a book for hours on end.

It's a profusion of glorious roses, blending and harmonizing even in their chaotic swirl. I could wear this every single day.

  5. At first it smells of sugar, almost caramelized and sweet. Must be the fruity note.

Then, the springy pink florals abound. I get the spicy scent of carnation mixed into softer things like phlox. Every now and then I get the whiff of strawberry sweetness.

The scent is very feminine without being saccharine or artificial. I love how fresh the floral notes appear in this blend.

  6. This scent is so bright, almost as if it glimmers. It begins very sweet, night time flowers blooming. Then there is musk, and the richer scent of jasmine. It has an almost spooky quality, as if you step into a dream. Another scent so aptly named, it puts me in the mind of magic and mysteries. It's extremely beautiful.

  7. A feisty bouquet of golden, warm, gently honeyed lilies.

The honey scent sort of overwhelmed the lily scent for me. It was incredibly sweet. I thought I might go into sugar shock just sniffing. It's pretty, but too sweet on my skin for prolonged wear.

  8. The first whiff is herbal, but soft. It is like a soft crush of drying plants in your hand. On my skin, there are pale florals creeping out. I never imagined mist as having a scent, but I think this could be it. It smells like night air, fresh and with that bare hint of dampness. It's a very evocative, ethereal blend. The only downside is that it is very faint on my skin and fades quickly. But it seems to last longer in my hair, so all is right.

  9. In the bottle it smells strongly of lily. the first bloom on my skin is the carnation and tangerine. Then the rose and lily makes an appearance. It has a beautiful, regal feel to it. I want to walk straighter and throw my head back when wearing this.

  10. Ah, delicious Swank.

The first time I tried this it was almost syrupy in the sweetness. But on the second go round, it was closer to the fresh crisp-tart tang of a ripe pomegranate. It feels cool and delightful to me, very classy like a pomegranata martini in a frosted glass with just a bit of sugar on the rim.

A very beautiful pomegranate scent thatis not cloying or heavy.

  11. At first, the scent is strongly bamboo and fruits! I'm not sure what fruits, but they seem juicy. There's a whiff of something like ozone, a lightness. It's a peculiar combination and it make my nose twitch. As it dries down, the cherry blossoms predominate. The bamboo and fruity notes meld into the background.

Very unigue, very curious. I think some of my anime loving friends would go nuts over this oil.

  12. It's smokey plum to me, faint and lingering. I'm not hitting any other notes here, which disappoints me. Alas. I recognize the plum from Midwinter's Eve, but it is less sweet and more fleshy here. It's a nice scent, but not for me.

  13. This scent is the most exotic combination in my nose. It makes me feel a bit otherworldly.

In the vial, it's sweet and almond-y. (This buttery, rum almond note is very similar to Hellcat.) It stays that way for just a moment on my skin, and rapidly takes a new form. I smell the cloves, and the bay, and the sassafrass sweetnees. It becomes spiced, dancing rum.

Definitely a scent for going out, and warm nights. I'm very curious how it might smell on my husband now.

  14. It would be hard to describe this scent without wanting to use the name. It is startling how well it fits the word.

It began with a breath of white lillies, so real that I almost expected to close my hands on waxy petals. The florals grew more complex, a bit darker and then I could smell the almost smokey note of opium haze. The poppies come out and give a sexy, subtle allure.

This scent is so relaxed and indolent. It was an excellent late evening note for me.

  15. I have come to the conclusion that Spooky and I are not made to be friends.

Out of the bottle it smells minty, with a hint of cocoa powder. The chocolate smells very dry to me, and not at all like the chocolate scents I've picked up in other blends.

On my skin, I get some of that rum sweetness. Then it quickly becomes all coconut. Coconut and my skin do not seem to react well. It fades out and becomes somewhat like Playdough. I had a similar experience with Snow White.

But I do understand the name now! It is spooky, and very strange. A beautiful blend but one I will be using to scent baths instead of me.

  16. The first breath was limpid, fresh water and greenery. Like lily pads, or some other dark, thick green leaf. Then the florals would poke out briefly, mix in the water and vanish. The green scent was almost spicy, so I suppose that might be the gingery note.

It's elegant and clean, a beautiful spring time scent.

  17. This is a beautiful scent. I think I'm going to replace my husband's cologne with a bottle of Villain.

The lavender is dark, and strong. It's not all really the soft flowery sort of scent I associate with lavender. I think it has something to do with the lime, which is pretty strong in here. The lime note makes it divine.

  18. First impression - almond! Sweet, sugary almond goodness. Then it mellows and gets buttery. The rum and honey sweetness comes out. I agree that it is similar to Gluttony, but with less of the chocolate and without the rich bitter balance of hops. Faint and sweet, it lasts for a couple hours.

I like this, and would probably wear it more than Gluttony. It's warm and sweet without making me ravenous for dessert.

  19. The first whiff was sharp, the gust of wind before the clouds come pouring down the sky. Mmm ozone.

There's something positively marine about this perfume. It's watery and green, but definitely in an oceanic way. I dig it, and I think it is my "cleaning house" scent now. Beautiful.

  20. This smells just like the real thing. It smells exactly like saddle leather to me. The only thing missing is the horse. :P I like it, because it isn't overpowering. It's warm, worn leather that's been well taken care of and used often. Absolutely beautiful.

  21. The rose is gorgeous, straight out of the bottle. It's soft, red and silky. In the background, there is a blend of spices that makes me think of bay, fennel and incense. From time to time the musk peeks out like a deep breath. This scent if pure beauty, and I wish I coudl make my husband wear it. It makes me salivate.

  22. I don't think I will ever be able to eat sweets again. Every cake and dessert will suffer the unfortunate fate of being compared to my divine bottle of Gluttony. :P

Oh man. Beautiful buttercream, chocolate, and pralines are balanced by the rich, slightly bitter hops. I love the hops in this! As it dries down, I get the sweeter candy notes like caramel.

This is the greatest room scent ever!
