    Skytyping with Chemtrails

Lemony, smooth and...something else. Wet on my skin, smells a little like strawberries with a strong boost of lemon candy. The feel of this is very childlike and sweet, literally. Not getting anything chemical yet. Later... well nothing has changed, no morphing. Stayed true to the original first applied notes. Scent is a little lighter now and softer but still sweet, childlike and innocent.

    Tin Phoenix

Strong lemon and light florals. The lemongrass is so strong, but I love lemongrass. I smell the ozone, and maybe the metals which translates into a slightly chemical air scent. Mixed with the lemongrass it smells a lot like a bathroom cleaner. Oh man, that metal smell is getting stronger. This is not working for me. I am going to abort mission. I don't want to see where this goes, its bad enough right now.

    Monarch

sweet toasted nuts and honey. On skin, Now I'm getting the mandarin. This reminds of cookies with orange, honey and nuts. Real foodie. I smell pumpkin! wow. I don't think I have ever tried any blend with pumpkin because I don't like pumpkin pie but I'm loving it in this. The pumpkin compliments the orange so nicely. This is turning into a cookie recipe to me. I love to bake. I don't know that I am getting any of the other notes. I figure that the mango is lost somewhere between the mandarin and the pumpkin and they are playing off of each other. This is a warm, foodie scent.

    Silver Phoenix

smells crisp and clean, like lettuce and/or cucumber although I know those notes are not listed. On skin smells different, hard to describe, almost chemical rather than organic. I was raised in Texas, and we had these bugs called "stink" bugs. I don't know if that was the actual name but that is what we called them. Anyway, when you squished them, the smell of the insides is what gave them their name. I never really thought it stunk but was strong. This scent to me smells like that, like the inside of stink bug. I know that sounds terrible but its really not. This is now changing on my skin into something more floral and a little sweeter. Very light, almost etheral. My association with stink bugs though is killing this for me.

    Now Winter Nights Enlarge

at first sniff, the honey, is strong. There is a scent lingering that is somewhat of vinegar, but quickly dissipates. I smell the richness of the red musk. I may be getting some of the vanilla with it but the honey is so strong it is hard to tell. I smell the patchouli but it is very light and has none of the 'dirtiness' usually associated, simply adds to the depth of the blend. The nutmeg is dancing around in the middle of all this and lends a spicy quality that reminds me of cookies with the sweetness of the honey. I don't specifically get any of the other notes. This is very sweet, slightly perfumey and a little foodie.

    Snowball Fracas

Strong bpal snow note - sweet, clean, and cool. On skin it is more of the same. I think this is simply the "snow note" in a bottle. Very hard to describe for those that have never smelled it. Anyone ever get pineapple? The only thing I could add to the first three words I've already used to describe this scent is fruity. The snow note is ok, don't love it, don't hate. you'll just have to try it for yourself and see. Later is smells less wet and more ozone. I really love this stage. I kept smelling my skin, I was so in love. Then a little later it changed again, into a somewhat masculine version of the previous. I'm still on the fence about this one. Edited because scent morphed.

    Hetairae

First sniff, Sweet and dirty. On skin, Honey is the very strongest and patchouli is wafting in the background. Not getting much else yet. Now I'm getting a little more of what I think is probably the fig and maybe a little ylang but not strong. Later on, the fig is yet stronger and so is the patchouli, the honey has remained strong. If the other notes are there, I don't really smell them now. Probably a good blend for honey lovers.

    Peach Moon

I don't purchase many of the moons because I am not a big risk taker, but I thought I might like this one. Right off this one smells like crazy floral with a hint of flowery peach and probably musk. This stage lasts for a little while and is strong but gets better. The latter stage, and eventually drydown smells of sweeter peaches, almost candyish, but not sickly sweet. There may be a hint of floral left but I think its mostly peach, musk and maybe the tea that I get the most of now. Dries down to a soft peach scent. Lovely.

    The Black Temple Burlesque Troupe

A very thick dark oil. First sniff reminds me faintly of chocolate and something else which I'm sure are the tobacco and black musk. I must say this blend is not for everyone and not for the faint of heart.

    The First Soft Snow

Sort of fruity with bpals unmistakable snow not which is difficult to describe. On skin it is more intense and fruity but not citrus, more like juicy, wonderful fruit. The snow note serves to balance the enitre blend which has a light hearted feel.

    Flora

Sweet.innocent, almost candy-ish. On skin a bit more intense still very sweet but in a youthful way.

    Harimise

A little foody, but just a little. Like a bakery item with toasted nuts. Then it smells almost like clean sheets and toasted nuts. Interesting combination but not bad. Very soft and gentle. Don't love it, but not hating it either.

    Clytie

First whiff is strong, probably the Frank. I love osmanthus but the frank is so over powering in this blend and since I dont like frank it is a dud for me. Reminds me of my grandmothers aged perfume. Enough said.

    Unveiled

Red bush tea, vanilla, white peach, golden amber, mandarin, lotus root, and myrrh. Light scent of perfume with a hint of fir trees. Upon my skin, sweetness and fir becomes stronger and reminds me of something I might smell on a male. Yes very sexy, will have to try it on him tonight!

    Octopus and Abalone Diver

Upon first sniff, very light and lovely. Gently aquatic. Stronger once on the skin. Still lovely and smells so very clean. Wow! I am enamored with the soft aquatic lovliness of this scent.[

Serpents with Glittering Eyes and Forky Tongues

in vial: sweet, fresh, juicy fruits wet: at first, bpal snow note and ripe, wet fruit. This is growning a little greener, a little more herbal. Becoming sweeter in a sticky fruit juice sort of way. Dry: This has gone through several changing stages but is now back at bpals snow note (whatever that is). To me this smells similar to many of the winter blends that have this same note.

    Bony Moon

in vial: herbal wet: very green in an herbal way. As it dries the cedar begins to come out. The creamy wood note from the sandalwood floats in the background. dry:This gets stronger and smells of the harshness of wood.

    Symmakhia

in vial: wonderful, sweet, fresh, powdery wet: vanilla, fresh fruit, pear. This is really lovely. Getting more powdery now. A really strong baby powder scent mixed with the notes mentioned previously. This would be perfect if it were not for the baby powder. dry: This has several geat notes. The vanilla becomes stronger and the powder becomes more faint but I can't deal with the baby powder.

    Couple Consulting an Enpon

in vial: yummy dark fruit wet: dark berry, fizzy dry: this still smells like berries to me and only berries. I can't smell anything else. This has grown faninter but still berries.
  20. in Vial: yummy sweet, fresh, slightly fruity wet: There are so many notes in this blend that I love, but without reading the notes I could not tell one from the other. They are blended so well and none overpower the other. This is wonderful! Super yummy, a bit tart, kind of strong but not unpleasant. dry: This has gotten even stronger. It is harsh close to the nose, but farther away smells nice. later...this has grown faint which is a relief and now smells very beautiful. I love this blend.

    Lovers with Rutting Cats

in vial:buttery, maple, sugary are the words that come to mind. wet:mmm. something unusual. reminds me of something I have smelled from a long time ago. I am smelling the vanilla more clearly now but there is something strong and unusual behind it. Dry: this vanilla is coming into full bloom which is a good thing but there is the "something else" there that I cannot identify that keeps me from loving this blend.

    Giant Vulva

in vial: sweet and woodsy wet: very perfumey. To me skin musk is perfumey and is carrying this blend. In the background I smell the honey giving a sticky sweetness to the mix. I cannot distinguish the other notes at this point. dry: Has not changed much. Has gotten stronger maybe and is still very perfumey with a sticky sweet background. This reminds of a mature woman's perfume.

    Black Moon

in vial: heavy, floral wet: the orchid is most predominant at first, then the pear comes through and lightens the blend a bit giving it a freshness. There is something coming through that is not very sweet. Smells a little like tree bark but without the bitterness. dry: my initial reaction is my conclusive opinion. heavy floral! need I say more?

Itasô Kansei Nenkan Jorô No Fûzoku

in vial: sweet, kind of soapy wet: smells like sweet rice wine. not what I was expecting still very soapy. dry: many of the the salon blends smell identical to me even though different notes are listed. This one smells like Lanter Ghost and Spirit of...Tree. Drydown is light, sickly sweet and a little soapy. Not what I was looking for.

    Water Phoenix

in vial: fresh and cool wet: I smell the lavender, I know this because I hate lavender. This may ruin it for me. This smells very herbal to me, but with a coolness in the backdrop. dry: this blend still smells strong and definitely is classified as an aquatic although in a subcategory I would put this as an herbal aquatic. It has a nice green herbal scent with cool water surrounding.
