  1. Azrael is the Angel of Death, marked as the last being to die in the Apocalypse. Though a harbinger of doom, his duties are an act of mercy: he curtails human life before world-weariness and despair destroys our spirits. Warm myrrh swirled with a bittersweet blend of violet, Lily of the Valley, juniper, cypess and cajeput.

This one the juniper jumped out to me. I was hoping for more Lily of the Valley. The myrrh finally kicked in during dry down. This one smells nice but not for me. Off to swap.

  2. Definitely pink. I really like this blend. When I tried it the first time, I almost dismissed it. I tried it again and it smells like cotton candy. This will be my girly scent, the one that I wear when I wear a summer dress and sandals.

  3. I had high hopes for this blend. I have finally figured out that I cant do chocolate scents. This one smelled of burnt unsweetened chocolate to me. Being a chef, that is not a pleasant smell to me. I need to try it again when I am feening for chocolate. You know that time of the month when that is all you want.

  4. This was one of the first scents I tried when I was introduced to bpal. My nose wasnt quite developed back then, and I quickly threw it in the swap pile. But I recently got another imp of this...thanks to the lab and I am really enjoying this. Very creamy and fruity. Very well blended. This one is a keeper.

  5. At first sniff, thick cough medicine. Although I like the taste of medicine...I know I am wierd. I didnt like this one on my skin. It reminded me of kids who have white shirts stained with cherry kool aid. LOL. Glad to have smelled this one though.

  6. At first sniff I got a sharp white floral. I really didnt get the honey. I thought it was kind of strong for me. I tried it anyway. I am glad that it toned down some after a couple of minutes. This one may be too girly for me. I feel like a pre teen wearing this. That might be good for some days. I will hold onto this imp.

  7. This is one that I longed to have work for me. When I finally got my hands on some I was really excited. I loved the creamy smell in the imp. Wet it really smelled divine. I wanted to chew my arm off. As it dried it turned weird. I think it was the oleander or maybe the magnolia. I guess my chemistry isnt diggin to many florals lately.

  8. I got this imp with my last order. I love incense so I had to get it right away. In the imp I could smell the patchouli and the leather. I love patchouli so I was excited to slather...but with all new scents, I have to dab just a little. Wet I could smell the pathcouli and the leather. Still no incense. During dry down is when things got a little funky on my skin. Only a couple of scents have done this to me. Just weird. So off to the swap pile. I was so looking forward to loving this. :P

  9. I bought this bottle blind. But this was before I finally realized that rose was my nemesis. But as lovely as this blend is, this one smelled like commercial perfumes on me and I am looking for the exotic. So up for swap it goes.

  10. I tried this one a while back. I love most of the notes in this, but my skin just amplifies rose and turns it to yuck. Why me. In the imp, it smelled great but upon drydown is when the rose just turns evil on me. I hope to find a rose one day that I can love.

  11. I guess I am hard headed when it comes to rose scents. They dont work on me. They turn to nail polish remover on my skin. Wah!!! Glad I got a chance to smell but I will have to pass this one one.

  12. I love patchouli so of course I had to try this. Very fresh and green scent. I kept getting herbal whiffs. Not sure if I like it much. Might have to pass this bottle on to the next person. I guess this will be one of the handful of patchouli scents that dont go well with my skin.

  13. This one is very nice. Definitely a blue scent. Fresh and acquatic. I love the cleanliness of this scent. It will probably make a nice room scent. Glad to have tried this one...not sure on a bigger bottle, but I will enjoy my imp.

  14. So now that I am on a diet, when I have urges for sweets past 9pm, all I have to do is sniff this. This stuff really smells great. I dont know about acutually using it as a perfume, but maybe an occassional sniff or maybe a bar of soap or something.

  15. I was so excited to finally get an imp of this. I was amazed at how easy it was to smell each of the notes. My nose isnt the most experienced. Wet I really didnt like how it meshed with my skin. After about an hour was when I was able to detect the notes. Even with a beautiful drydown, I really couldnt get over how it smelled wet. I am glad I got to sniff this but I will be passing it on.

  16. This was one of the first scent I got to try from this company. This one was very juicy and bright. Almost too sweet like candy. Although very pretty, I am more of a musky and incense chick. But I am glad I gotta a chance to try this.

  17. Mint and me are not friends. But I wanted to try this and see if maybe something else would pop out. My skin amplifies mint to the point I feel that I have toothpaste on my face or something. Glad I got a chance to sniff this but I will pass it on to the next person.

  18. This one didnt go very well on me. All I could smell were spices that I dont really like. They went funky on my skin.

This was the first LE i ever smellled since being introduced to bpal. I think my nose was a virgin back then. I wish I could get my hands on some again so that I can test my nose again with it.
