This is straight up red musk on me. I don't get any other notes. Short wear time, it was entirely gone in about an hour.

I love musks, all musks. Musk and I are friends. That being said, I don't think I like this. I can smell the musk and it's lovely, but over top of it is a nauseating, cloying scent. I've smelled it in a few blends before, and I've never been able to pin down exactly what it is. I'm pretty disappointed, I didn't think this one could fail.

When I first put this on my skin my first reaction was, "Oh Hell N-, wait it's getting better." This starts out a weird soapy floral, but it morphs fast. What I'm left with is a beautiful silvery vaguely aquatic scent, it's like sitting near a pond in the middle of the night. The mist is rising out of the water, the air is cooling down, the wind is whispering through the water plants. The moon is bright but clouded, sending silvery gray light and creating deep shadows. It's cool, a little bit sweet, a little bit floral, a little bit watery, but all beautiful. (And for the record, I generally don't like perfumes that fall into most of those categories.)

I'm worried because of the time sensitive nature of the LE. How long should I wait before e-mailing the Lab? *This is my first order with CCNow. I never had a problem with PayPal before but now they're demanding a photo ID to unfreeze my account (and the accounts most if not all of their other customers) - seriously, WTF? You should pretty much ignore the link in the email. It really doesn't have anything to do with anything. They go by the date that you ordered not the day that they harvest payments. I've received orders before CC Now said they were even shipped. I kind of wish that the link wasn't even there because it causes so many people stress.

Pure dish soap and dryer sheets, eye wateringly pungent. I'm sad, based on the notes I thought this would be great.

I adore thee, Mother Mary But would you change me back to a witch Solas "On A Sea of Fleur De Lis" There isn't much about the Catholic Church that I feel nostalgic for but this brings back some of those memories. The empty church quiet and beautiful. First communion - which was always done on Mother's Day in my parish. At the end of mass the kids would bring a crown of flowers out to the statue of Mary. This mixes and melds those two memories and I find myself feeling peaceful and nostalgic. I always loved Mary when I was a child, and this scent is perfect reminder of the childlike regard. eta: After a whole day's wear it still smells lovely on my skin, but anywhere that it got on my clothes it's just awful. Single note screechy rose. Wierd, I've had the reverse happen before, but nothing like this. I'm actually thinking of changing my shirt.

I like all the oils that my husband wears to have a sweetness to them and some of the ones that work best are Bow and Crown, Crowley, and Antikythera Mechanism.

This starts out rather nice - freshly turned soil and radishes it's like hanging out in a veggie patch. Then it turns into headache inducing floral soap. *sigh* I can't believe I didn't have any luck with any of the Fraggles I tried.

I love linden blossom, but I can't smell it. This is pure laundry soap. A nice laundry soap - but I use unscented laundry soap for a reason, so this won't be an upgrade for me.

Uncle Traveling Matt just broke my heart. I don't smell any of the notes listed, just a horrible high pitched sweet tart fruity smell. The same screeching high fruit note that ruined Sprinklecake. No chocolate, no pear, nothing but Sweet Tarts candy.

Yggdrasil maybe? The description is "The World Ash. Nine woods, nine leaves, and three herbs each for Ratatosk and Vidofnir, with three final herbs to placate Nidhogg." I just retested it and it's a bit menthol when you first put it on, but it seems to be settle into a nice woody scent after 15 minutes or so. My husband wears both Dee and Antikythera Mechanism regularly so it's a bit strange to switch gears and think of something a guy might like that isn't like those.

A million stars, seriously if this ever comes out I will be in big trouble. I got a little bit as a frimp from a forumite. I sprayed it. Then I sprayed it again, and again, and all over my bed, and .... then it was gone. =( Cue wailing and gnashing of teeth.

This smelled like lovely red velvet cupcakes in the bottle and like high pitched fruity hell on my skin. I was disappoint.

Oh how I wanted to love this one. I love it in the vial, I love it on my skin, I love it drying on my skin... and then it vanishes. I have never had a scent so completely disappear on me before. Usually there is at least a wiff of something remaining even if most of the scent is gone. There is nothing left of this one. Within an hour you can't tell that I was ever wearing perfume. I've actually tried it about half a dozen times now just because the disappearing act is so uncanny. While it lasts though it is a lovely, spicy, furry scent. The anise is warm and cuddly and I don't even like anise.

MELON melon melon melon melon melon..... Ripe, sticky with honey, and much more like melon candy than actually honeydew melon. This is very similar to The Vine, if perhaps even sweeter. This is a fun scent, but I don't know if I could actually wear it. I think in larger quantities than the single dot I put on it would become cloying. It's still screaming melon and I put it on an hour ago.

Initially I thought, "I smell like.... Allsorts? Weird." Thirty minutes later, "I smell pretty yummy." Husband, "I love that one." I'm sold.

Love, love, love this! I almost didn't get it because of all the flowers. I'm so glad I did! I don't get flowers from this, but I know they are there because it makes the blend have a beautiful springy tone. Mostly I get a blast of white chocolate covered strawberries, followed by pure ripe strawberry on the dry down.

Floral soap. Not at all what I expected from reading the notes.

I wasn't interested in this at first, but I ordered it on the strength of the reviews. I am sooo glad that I did! This is gorgeous! Sweet and woody - I don't know if I would have been able to tell there was cinnamon in this is I didn't know the notes. The only downside for me is that it has almost no throw.

I recently got a frimp of this too, it seems it's discontinued. http://www.bpal.org/.../3022-midnight/ Did you order something very limited release? I've noticed they've been tossing discontinued and rares in with things like that. Mine came with my Trading Post order.

This is surprisingly beautiful on me. It starts out very foodie and sweet, but after 20 minutes or so it really mellows into a lightly sweetened grainy perfume. The amber encrusted wood really shines in the dry down and I think is what mellows the foodieness.

This is a very pretty, light, feminine scent. It actually smells a lot like a more floral version of Glittering Apple to my nose. This will wear very nicely in the spring. I think it may be a bit too floral for me though and since it is so close to Glittering Apple which I already have I don't think I will be upgrading this one to a bottle.
