I really love this scent. I'm just kind of so-so about vanilla scents, but this one is nice...soft, inviting, and I can definitely smell clean, fresh linens in the background. A scent I will wear often...

    Coyote

Well, this is the one I've been waiting for, and it finally arrived on Christmas Eve...Merry Christmas to me!! I love this scent; it smells exactly like the description, warm, dry, grassy plains, soft winds, fur, doeskin, all of it. In the bottle, all of the smells mesh, and they make me feel like I might if I lived in South Dakota... On my skin wet, I smell kind of an amber-y musk, soft inviting. As it dries down, Coyote smells to me like soft fur, and those gentle, fragrant Plains breezes. It is very soothing and warm, like autumn. I LOVE this one; I got two bottles because I knew I would love it, and it is my favorite of all the oils I have purchased recently. I want to have it on hand always..

Syrupy, someone else said, and I have to agree. In the bottle, it seemed to have this weird conglomeration of scents, and my first reaction was...EWW... When I put this fragrance on, it really seemed to flower, and flower beautifully. The EWW factor was completely gone, and it seemed to blend in well with my personal chemistry..a little strong, but not knock me down, drag me out strong...know what I'm saying?? As the day progressed, I got whiffs of this scent that were quite pleasant; I thought I could smell the frankincense mostly. I didn't get the olive at all, and completely forgot about it until I reread some of the reviews. This is a nice, soothing scent pleasant to sip tea and converse with friends to. On a scale from 1-5 (5 being the highest), I'd give it a 3.5. I'll definitely wear it again and again.

I don't know exactly what to make of this scent, but I am kinda sad it is being discontinued... This scent didn't change much on me...it pretty much stayed the same from the bottle to my skin, even after a few hours. I wasn't expecting it to be so sweet and "perfumey", but I could smell the woods and the mossy lichen...very nice since I like earthy, woodsy smells. I'm glad I got a 5 ml. so I can use it for awhile. I'm not sure I would re-order if it were available, but I'm also not sure I wouldn't. Definitely a scent I'm gonna have to play with, but it does have possibilities.

    Queen

Well, I just got my first order of BPAL, and this is the first oil I've tried, so I'll give it a review: In the bottle, Queen was very strong; it smelled to me a lot like a stuffy, overly floral scent..old lilies, fragranced hankies, etc....not particularly appealing. When I put it on, it had a powdery fragrance, and smelled a lot like the carnations that my aunt and grandma used to have all over their apartment. Nicer, but still a little stuffy and strong. After it was on awhile, a floral-y, almost balsam-y scent came out, and that was quite lovely. I could also smell some pine, and the scent of a deep, dense forest full of old leaves and pine needles. I don't know if I'll buy this again, but I will enjoy it on the right occasions (whatever they may be). It's definitely not an everyday scent for me.
  6. I've just got to say that I'm loving this thread...I love smokey, autumn leaves type scents myself, and I am so loving the suggestions...THANKS!
