    French Love

OMG, this scent is wonderful! I was expecting something "cheap" smelling. Oh no, not this one. I loved it in the bottle... dragon's blood and floral of some sort. When I first put it on, it was dragon's blood, a sweet creaminess, and soft floral. As it dried, a bit of spice came out to mingle as well. I don't know about its "effect" yet, but as a scent, I LOVE this one!

    Love-Lies-Bleeding

This is another one of those scents that I opened, sniffed, then closed again, completely convinced that it was NOT the scent for me. I opened this one a second time and applied it quickly. Oh... my... goodness. A yummy sticky sweet scent when wet. I can't keep my wrist away from my nose! As it dries, it is still sweet, but not as sticky. Still liking it. When dry, however, I am getting an almost chocolatey smell, which I am NOT a fan of. Why, oh why could it not stay sweet and yummy? Unfortunately, this one will likely go to swaps.

    Blood Kiss

Lush, creamy vanilla and the honey of the sweetest kiss smeared with the vital throb of husky clove, swollen red cherries, but darkened with the vampiric sensuality of vetiver, soporific poppy and blood red wine, and a skin-light pulse of feral musk. This was one of those scents that I was SO anxious to try. It sounded so yummy. When I opened my imp, I immediately closed it again. Too bitter. I gave it a little time and opened it and put some on my wrist. Unfortunately, all my chemistry can pull out of this one is the vetiver and musk. I get no sweetness at all, unless I press my nose against my wrist. Even then, the sweetness is definitely losing out to the stronger notes. I know I am not much of a musk person, but I thought there might be enough sweetness to tone it down. Seems as though I might have to add vetiver to my list of no-nos as well. Le sigh.
