    Dance of Death

From the description and the reviews, I was completely positive that I was going to love this one. So sure, in fact that I bought a .5 ml blindly. Unfortunately, this one ended up being one of the few oils that reacted badly to my body chemistry. At least I think that must be it if so many people love it and think it smells like things I normally love. It smells great in the bottle, green and lovely. On my wrist? Instant freaking BABY POWDER which is one of the smells that nauseates me. *sigh* I wish this one worked but live and learn and trade I guess!

    Jazz Funeral

Jazz Funeral has been and probably always will be my absolute favorite. I never expected to like it. I mean, dirt? booze? on purpose? But HELL YES dirt and booze on purpose! Really though, there is so much more to it than that. Someone previously mentioned that the scent evoked Savannah as well as New Orleans and I completely agree. Anyone who has ever read or seen the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" will know what I mean. This is the saddest, most tragic, most dignified and most elegant scent. The burial of someone important with a brass band trailing behind the procession. I love this so much I want to live the way it smells.
