    Chaos Theory V: Recursive Self-Similarity v1

CLXIV 164 In the bottle: Sugar Skull meets Red Lantern. Very sweet with an unknown spice scent that I get from SS. In the background is a hint of the Dorian base, a clear fresh tea note. Wet on the skin: The first scent I get is a clean lemony tea, but sweeter. Not a lot of the original Dorian feel, but it's ok because sometimes Dorian is a tad manly for me. I can feel the Sugar Skull "spice" creeping up. Dry: Mostly the spiciness of SS. I like it better than SS, and the smokiness is not as overwhelming as Red Lantern can be. I think this bottle makes my Red Lantern obsolete, though.

    Pickled Imp

In the vial: Surprising lime, with vanilla. Reminiscent of Mr. Nancy, which is odd since Pickled Imp has no lime. Must be the pine. Very yummy! Wet on the skin: Vanilla and cinammon, with the clove coming out later. Dry on the skin: Cloves, warmed with cinammon. The vanilla comes back at the end, making it all soft and creamy. I ADORE cinammon blends, and the clove in this really rounds it out nicely.

    Red Lantern

In the bottle it's buttery, swoony caramel with some faint floral undertones. I can also smell the tobacco. On me, this is all that is good from Ventriloquist's Dummy.....buttery caramel with tobacco and slight coconut hints, without the piney-woods smell that made VD too manly for me. The caramel isn't the little kid, bakery type, but combined with the opium it's a lush, adult smell. I can smell different notes with every sniff. Very complex. Yaaay!
