    Eat Me

Imp: Sweet, sweet, sweet, like sugar. Wet: Sweet and light, with a hint of vanilla. Drydown and hours afterwards: This scent is probably the most consistent BPAL scent I've tried. It smells exactly as it did when I first put it on, which is nice because my chemistry seems to mess up many scents. Very sweet and lovely, with a hint of vanilla. Not a ton of staying power but definitely worth it anyway.

    Blood Rose

In the imp: Strong floral scent, with a hint of wine overlay. Initial drydown: Rose, rose, rose. Voluptuous and deep and pure. A lovely rose scent. Two hours after: Not a ton of staying power on my skin. Smells a bit soapy now, more like lightly floral, very slightly fruity soap than what it did before.

    Bengal

Oh, I wanted to love Bengal, I wanted to love it so badly. In the bottle and fresh on my skin there's honey and clove and cinnamon, the spices dominate and it is gorgeous. But on dry down all I can smell is musk, and if I concentrate maybe the occasional whiff of spices. If you are a musk fan this will be fine for you, but I'm not so my search for a lovely spice-y scent continues.

    Midnight Kiss

This is my first and I haven't got much of a nose, so take what you will. I immediately was hit with the patchouli. Whew! Then a musky sweetness. The patchouli faded and the ambery smell took hold as it dried. My friend spilled most of the imp on our dining room table so it is everywhere--I don't know how it does on my skin, but it has unfortunately made the dining smell like a brothel. If musky patchouli sweetness is your thing you will like this, but it is not mine--brings to mind a home of ladies of the night, the walls covered with hung cloth and incense burned to cover up the smell of the world within.
  5. Hello! I would like to smell like freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies, but preferably dark chocolate chip cookies. Vanilla and chocolate prevalent, with a sweet/brown sugar smell there but not overpowering the other notes. I have ordered some imps of chocolate-note perfumes (Bliss, Gluttony, Vice), but are there any others that would more approach the baked-good smell? Should I combine with something else? I have posted this in the chocolate thread since many of the cookie-smell perfumes I've tried are overly sweet.
