  1. I really can't stand patchouli, it makes me feel sick. Luckily I don't detect any at all here!

Strangely, to me this smells like chocolate-raspberry sweets! The ones I used to get when I was younger in pick 'n' mix with the red wrappers.

    :P

  2. a unique and unusual scent...

    I'll second that! :P

This is certainly unique and unusual. I like it but can't work out why it seems so familiar, and I can't even seem to detect any notes from it either!

I'll edit this in time if I can tell what it is..!

  3. This is sweet without being sickly or overpowering. I was imagining it to be like Hollywood Babylon but luckily it's not.

This is now my 2nd favourite of all time!! :P (Pickled Imp in 1st place of course). Saying that though, I haven't really given the rest of the box a chance yet have I!

  4. In the bottle this smells like green fizzy apples. I was a bit worried about this initially because 'apple-y' apple scents don't usually work too well on me.

On skin this is..perfection! Subtle apple note still but it's more than wearable and absolutely gorgeous.

Wish I had more bottles of this for future, but I just feel lucky that I got one in the first place. :P

  5. I might've reviewed this a year ago as one of my first ever reviews, but either way I think it deserves another more up-to-date one since my tastes have matured!

A gorgeously food-y scent with maybe a hint of cinnamon? I keep getting whiffs of warm fruit cake perhaps too? Dunno, but I want a bottle now!

    :P :D

Ps. When I first sniffed this roughly a year ago, I thought it was rather sickly and unwearable. Oh how times have changed!

  6. I would LOVE a BPAL similar to Lush's Soft Touch massage bar. Anyone??

Do you mean the body bar? I think it and TKO smell a lot a like. In fact, my mom loves Soft Touch, so I bought her a bottle of TKO for her birthday and she agreed that they smell similar.

Ooh I'll have to get a bottle of that, thank you!

(I hadn't even looked into this section before, so wouldn't have spotted it myself).

    Thanks!

  7. Dark, moody, and bittersweet: black currant, patchouli, tobacco, cinnamon leaf, caramel, muguet, and red sandalwood.

I was eager to try this because of the caramel but unfortunately I didn't detect any!

I wore it today and the checkout girl at Asda gave me an honest opinion on it:

Her: Ooh, what perfume are you wearing? It smells..different.
Me: What do you think it smells like?
Her: Really nice, like coffee scented candles.

    Charming!

I see what she's saying though, it does.

    Nevermind!

  8. This was on my imp wishlist and arrived this morning as a frimp..thank you Labbies!

Well, I like it but it's not what I expected. As much as I tried to sense the tea, it just wasn't there. All I could smell was strong aniseed with a lemony undertone.

It's interesting but only time will tell as to whether or not it's wearable. If not, it'll be good as a room scent at least.

  9. I expected this to be very chocolate-y, on the same level of Candy Butcher maybe.

It certainly is chocolate-y but the Snake Oil stands out very much. That's not a bad thing though, 'cause I like Snake Oil anyway.

    It's a keeper!

*I've just tried it on skin and all of the chocolate fades, leaving me with pure Snake Oil! Nevermind! Just means that even though it's a keeper it isn't hoard-worthy, therefore saving me pennies!*

  10. Wow, this is lovely!!

Coffee and chocolate with a hint of whisky. I'm glad it lived up to my expectations.

I have a terribley wasteful habit of getting cups of coffee at work just to have on my desk for the smell. I like the smell of coffee, but not the taste. Now there'll be no more wasted coffees!

    :P
