  1. FIRST SNIFF: hints of tobacco and vanilla

WEARING IT: a thin layer of white wine emerges but there is still the burst of vanilla and tobacco that is most noticeable. there is something earthy lingering in the background which is more than likely the oakmoss. i think i'm smelling coconut and it really bounces around the vanilla and helps add the perfect amount of sweetness to the rest of the scent.

VERDICT: truly lovely, a bigger bottle will probably be in the works :P

  2. FIRST SNIFF: delicious! cocoa and woody notes

WEARING IT: the fig is coming out, but the most distinct note is the cocoa. all of the notes blend so well together making it warm and cozy. it's a really dry scent but not at all off-putting. it really is a terrific every day scent! not overly chocolately in the least.

VERDICT: i'll more than likely get a larger bottle!

  3. FIRST SNIFF: definitely orange with a hint of spice

WEARING IT: i'm with shollin, this totally reminds me of deimos at first. as it wears on, i find it to be more spicey, i think there's cinnamon in it. reminds me of cinnamon hearts with a kick of orange thrown in for good measure

VERDICT: not something i'd particularly buy but i'll use up the imp :P

  4. FIRST SNIFF: green...soapy

WEARING IT: this definitely turned soapy on me right from the get-go! the spanish moss is really in the foreground while the evergreen and swampy florals back it up.

FINAL VERDICT: not for me, but exactly as beth describes it.

  5. FIRST SNIFF: leather, juniper, spicey cider (in that order)

WEARING IT: very hot, very spicey - i definitely smell the leather and the spicey, cinnamon, mulled wine scent provides a nice background. this, to me, is a great autumn scent.

FINAL VERDICT: it's something i think would be very nice for autumn and that's about it. it's not in my top three, but definitely in my top 15.

  6. FIRST SNIFF: minty herbs

WEARING IT: this is a really cool scent. unfortunately it didn't last long on me at all :D the herbs and mint are definitely in the foreground with a gentle sweetness on the dry down that doesn't really smell like lavender, but some other sweet flowers.

VERDICT: i'll use my imp - it's nice on a cool day :P

  7. FIRST SNIFF: lightly, sweetly exotic

WEARING IT: this is very juicy and gentle at first. most scents with myrrh in them really work well on me and this is no exception. the sandalwood and amber really warm it up and i think it's the black lotus flower that gives the scent its exotic sweetness. this is so pretty, definitely a scent for a nice dress and heals.

VERDICT: i didn't expect to like this one so much but i do! i'll wear it a few more times and probably buy a 5ml :P

  8. FIRST SNIFF: heather

WEARING IT: i knew i wouldn't like this scent but tried it anyhow! i don't like the way heather smells on me and this is a whole lot of heather! i do catch a faint whiff of the blackberries which is nice but not enough for a larger bottle. as it wears on, it turns soapy to my nose as well - so this really didn't work out on me.

    VERDICT: not for me.

  9. FIRST SNIFF: lavender & spice

WEARING IT: i'm not a big fan of lavender and this is REALLY lavender - i do like that it ends with the yummy spice but it's not overly enthralling on me. it smells a lot like lush's angels on bare skin :P

    VERDICT: not for me :D

  10. FIRST SNIFF: herbs and pine

WEARING IT: the pine makes its way to the forefront with the sweetness of the honeysuckle dancing behind it. i can smell oakmoss doing its part but can't place exactly where it is in the scheme of things. this is VERY earthy - almost like zombi in a way, but prettier. i'd like to smell it on a man :D

VERDICT: i thought this was going to be more autumny than it actually turned out to be, i think i would have liked it more on me if the pine was less defined and the honeysuckle and almond had more of a role. next to try it on kev :P

  11. FIRST SNIFF : ???

WEARING IT: i smell what i think is lavender mixed with something VERY sharp and off-putting. it reminds me of catching a whiff of grass that has spent too much time in the compost. it's a light scent, definitely airy but very difficult to put a finger on.

VERDICT: there's too much going on for my tastes... :P

  12. FIRST SNIFF: chocolate covered cherries...

WEARING IT: the first thing i notice is the honey followed up by that cherry chocolate alcohol scent, i don't smell any flowers, but the whole concoction is backed up by the myrrh which really makes it nice for me. very sweet at first, but as it dries it becomes less so and a lot more appealing. the wine, honey and myrrh are what's left behind on the dry down followed by the faintest scent of sweet flowers.

VERDICT: the more i wear this, the more i love it. it's the perfect everyday scent and i've already gotten a compliment on it. it's become one of my favourites and a 5ml is on its way :P

  13. FIRST SNIFF: incensey florals...

WEARING IT: sweet lilacs, a faint breath of lily of the valley with sandalwood backing it up. there is definitely an incense feel to this scent, a little bit smokey and wispy as the description mentions. it's pretty, but not a scent for me.

VERDICT: will be passing the goodness along.. :P

  14. FIRST SNIFF: lemons

WEARING IT: lemons, jasmine. this scent is very close to what citronella candles smell like. as it wears on, i smell a little bit of the bergamot and it tones down the lemon just a tad...

VERDICT: too lemony for me, i'll pass it along to someone else who may like it better

  15. FIRST SNIFF: cherry cola...

WEARING IT: woah is this stuff sticky sweet! has a fizz to it in the background, must be the ginger. unique and different, but very powerful. an extremely confident scent that i didn't much care for the first time around, but i can really smell the ginger coming through and it makes it less sweet and a lot more exotic and wearable.

VERDICT: keeping the imp for sure.

  16. FIRST SNIFF: sandalwood and wet herbs

WEARING IT: sandalwood still, something green and oddly enough, i smell something pickle-scented thrown in here...i think my nose needs to be examined. a sombre scent, but not something i'd usually go for.

VERDICT: it was ok, just not for me.

  17. FIRST SNIFF: sweet grassy meadows....

WEARING IT: very pretty, i'm not getting a burnt smell, but something sweet, maybe a bit dry and comforting. dried, cut grasses. i'm having a hard time putting down into words what this scent makes me feel and think of, it sure is lovely though!

VERDICT: pretty indeed, i'll definitely use up my imp :P

  18. FIRST SNIFF: smoke, old velvet...

WEARING IT: dust, a little bit of wood, subdued blue lilac and something sharp at the very back of the scent that i can't put my finger on. this to me, is a stuffy old victorian room filled with dust and forgotten memories...

VERDICT: as it dries i like it more, but i don't seem to like it enough to buy a larger bottle of it.

  19. FIRST SNIFF: lilies and a drop of honey

WEARING IT: lilies and....funeral parlours. this is exactly what funeral homes smell like in my opinion, i've been in enough in the last five years to know. it is a true lily smell, very light - very pretty...but i can't get past the memories of funerals...

VERDICT: if the honey were more pronounced once it was on i think i'd like it better, but the lily smell alone isn't enough for me to get a bigger bottle.

  20. FIRST SNIFF: dew kissed tulips

WEARING IT: watery florals with crisp green grasses poking in behind. this is a very cool, crisp and clean scent - i think it would almost be a really nice scent for september, when things start to turn a little chilly and summer is turning into autumn.

VERDICT: it's pretty, but i'm not 100% sold that it's a scent for me.
