FIRST SNIFF - juicy, fruity, girly
WEARING IT - it's very similar to glitter on me. very juicy and sweet & childlike, playful and innocent. i get mostly a fruity scent but there is a faint floral bit to it - definitely lotus.
VERDICT - not something i could wear all the time, it's just not my type of scent.
-
FIRST SNIFF - green
WEARING IT - fresh, clean green stem scent. similar to dandelion and daisy stems and fresh cut grass. it's the thaw of spring turing into summer and slinky powerful herbs.
VERDICT - not my kind of scent.
-
FIRST SNIFF - green and pretty.
WEARING IT - clean and happy. this scent is all about the ginger and milk to me. it is SO nice. nothing really peeks out more than the others, it’s a happy marriage of all the ingredients, and they work so well together. it’s calming, refreshing, clean and beautiful. sparkling almost. i really love that the ginger isn't overbearing, it's blended so well.
VERDICT - i’ll be buying a bigger bottle.
-
FIRST SNIFF - coffee
WEARING IT - dark cocoa and coffee. all i need is the cream this is a really interesting, intriguing scent. it’s certainly not a seductive scent in my opinion, more of a scent you'd wear out to lunch or if you're just hanging out and not doing much.
VERDICT - wouldn’t buy a bottle, but it’s still nice.
-
FIRST SNIFF - woah cherries!
WEARING IT - cherries still. this is so thick and sweet. as it wears more musk comes out and the cherries, although still there, tone down a bit.
VERDICT - a little too adventurous for me, i'm not a huge fan of cherries.
-
FIRST SNIFF - berries, florals
WEARING IT - complex, dark, mysterious, elusive. a lot like Erzsébet herself. definitely floral, but not overpowering or headachey in the least. all the scents are in perfect harmony with eachother. it's like a bolder, darker queen mab. there’s a coldness to this scent as it wears, a slight iciness. hours later the scent is still thick and dangerously seductive. i caught a whiff of it and the first thought that entered my head was sweet, cooling, clotting blood - the calm after the storm. this scent really has a story to it, and it's beautiful.
VERDICT - love it, want it, gotta have it!
-
FIRST SNIFF - chocolate and molasses
WEARING IT - mingled in with the extreme sweetness are figs and rum with an underlying tang of berries. this reminds me a lot of dia de los muertos. very syrupy & sweet. if you can stand the initial power of it, it is very comforting.
VERDICT - if it were more figgy i think i would have enjoyed this more. i may swap it.
-
FIRST SNIFF - aquatic floral
WEARING IT - hmm... very white and light, but i find it very watery, something i wasn't really expecting. pale flowers are definitely in the mix along with orchid and white grapefruit. the scent is more like a melting icicle...
VERDCIT - i'm unsure of this one, i'll try it one more time and possible swap (i'm on the hunt for another bottle of skadi)

WILL TRADE ANYTHING IN MY BPAL COLLECTION FOR ANOTHER BOTTLE OF THIS!!!
FIRST SNIFF - grapefruit & pine
WEARING IT - sweet and SO nice. it’s a really smooth scent, faintly chilly. the pine is really sweet, not harsh in the least. i have no other words to describe this except perfect, it works so well with my skin. hours later it smells so inviting and comforting on me. if you were to stand in a forest, in winter - skadi would be the whoosh of clean, cool air whirling about. the winter berries come out towards the end of the scent, but are really light and REALLY gorgeous.
VERDICT - need more bottles of this. like i mentioned above, if this doesn't work on someone, i'll pay or swap you for your bottle!! please

FIRST SNIFF: patchouli, cinnamon
WEARING IT: i really like the cinnamon bit of this scent, it's the patchouli i have a problem with - it's a little too strong for me. as it continues to dry and change, i think i really like it - the patchouli takes a back seat and the sandalwood and cinnamon come through.
VERDICT: i'm happy with the scent, it's not an everyday scent, but very nice all the same.
-
FIRST SNIFF: true, spicey pumpkin
WEARING IT: pumpkin, clove and spice wrapped up in a hint of fir and patchouli. on first application it's really strong but it mellows with wear and lasts a long, long time. a little goes a really long way...i don't like the initial punch of it as it's a bit strong, but it's perfect after an hour or two.
VERDICT: another happy customer - this one's a keeper.
-
FIRST SNIFF: brown sugar
WEARING IT: sweet brown sugar still with a hint of tobacco and dried leaves. after a couple of minutes florals emerge and really make the scent well-rounded and a lot less foody. it still remains creamy and rich though. the smell of incense completes the scent.
VERDICT: a really nice scent, one i'll be keeping

FIRST SNIFF: green stems
WEARING IT: this is such a true rose smell with a deep, dark hint of musk. i have a black rose in my room currently and if i could amplify its smell i'm sure this is what it would smell like! i'm not that much of a rose smelling person, i look for other notes in my perfumes usually - but this is really true and unique.
VERDICT: pretty, but not for me.
-
FIRST SNIFF: soo yummy!!!
WEARING IT: smooth, rich cinnamon & honeysuckle. this scent is so warm and inviting and cozy!!! i'm in love! it's not overly foody and it has such a regality to it. almost has a vanilla quality to it that is so appealing.
VERDICT: i'll be ordering a larger bottle!
-
FIRST SNIFF: vinegar
WEARING IT: musky, overpowering - not me. although i smell something floral, i'm not sure it's the roses and i've never had an orchid smell quite like this. this is very medicinal, very peppery, sour and sharp. it softens slightly as it wears...but it's still not my favourite.
VERDICT: i'll pass on this one.
-
FIRST SNIFF: leafy green stems
WEARING IT: this scent is still very green but a beautiful sweetness emerges that is so nice! berries and tea and a hint of wonderous sage. so pretty, so nice on!
VERDICT: bigger bottle please!!!!
-
FIRST SNIFF: woah sassafras!
WEARING IT: definitely rootbeer, the poppy and nutmeg are very apparent too. as it dries i can notice the myrrh more and the rootbeer smell lightens considerably. something bitter is peeking through and really bothering me, very peppery.
VERDICT: too masculine for me, i found it very overpowering.
-
FIRST SNIFF: pine and lime
WEARING IT: on me, this is very dark and damp and fresh. i can't believe how much the lime adds to this scent, it is so nice. all of the ingredients do their jobs so nicely in this oil. as it dries, the vanilla and clove come out more and it almost smells like a chocolate gingerale cocktail. really lovely. wonderful unisex fragrance!
VERDICT: a keeper
-
FIRST SNIFF: burning coffee...
WEARING IT: as it dries so does the overbearing scent of coffee, it's still there just not as loud. definite flowers start to emerge - jasmine and rose and it becomes really creamy. i don't really smell the scents i wanted to smell in this, the vanilla, fig, tonka bean and mahogany. which is unfortunate.
VERDICT: wanted to like it, but i just don't think it's my type of scent.
-
FIRST SNIFF: fruit punch
WEARING IT: very fruity, apricots and plums with a hint of musk and sweet flowers underneath it all. it's a very light scent, not in the least overpowering. all of the elements mingle so well together, as it dries it becomes a little less fruity, and very pretty.
VERDICT: another keeper!
-
FIRST SNIFF: decadence!
WEARING IT: when first applied it reminded me a lot of morella as it wears the hazelnut becomes more apparent and mixes so well with the iris. the coconut really shows up to the party about ten minutes in and is really exotic and beautiful. this would be the ultimate summer scent!
VERDICT: so nice, it's a keeper!
-
FIRST SNIFF: something sweet, cherries and wood
WEARING IT: i'm having a very hard time distinguishing any scent in particular. there is a dull, dark sweetness to it - almost like cherries, sweet roses and wood all mixed in together. it's very different.
VERDICT: unsure, still debating it.
-
FIRST SNIFF: sweet floral
WEARING IT: the scent keep changing on me, it goes from sweet florals with a woody undertone, to something a little soapy...then changes back. it's a pretty, yet strong scent. slightly cool. i wish it would stay sweet and floral though, i'm not too fond of the soapy bit.
VERDICT: since i've been dying to try this, i'm not giving up on it yet - a few more applications are needed!
Pine and Evergreen goodness

i'd recommend hemlock or if you wanted something lighter and prettier, skadi - it's my current favourite, but on me it's not too piney. good luck
