  1. Wet, I get a soft, cheerful fruity scent with florals wafting around it. Literally! One second I turn and it's jasmine, then it's softer...A few minutes later the fruit/floral faded and it went to a very nebulous, soft scent that couldn't seem to decide if it was green or aquatic. Now it's an hour later and oddly, it's faded again to something like a gently fruity Milk Moon!

Sorry if that's not a lot of help! I like it, but it's not a top ten.

  2. I was sick over the weekend, and had been sleeping poorly/sleeping during the day. I've always been a poor sleeper anyway, but by last night I was exhausted. I had never tried Nocturne before, so I took it out to give it a try before bed. I annointed myself as in the description, read until I was sleepy, and went to bed.

I didn't sleep soundly through the whole night - I still woke up a couple of times- but here's the thing: when I got up at my alarm, I was as refreshed as if I'd just finished a week of vacation! My mind is clear, my body feels much better, and my heart is lighter!! Amaaaazing!!!

Good stuff, this. Think I need a bottle!!

  3. Three honeys blended with seven fruits, flowers, and herbs of passion, pleasure, and joy: honeysuckle, fig, carnation, apricot, jasmine, tonka, and almond.

I love the lab's honey scents. I love Honey Moon, though the thyme tends to last too long after the honey fades, and I want to wash it off. That said, I LOVE Hony Mone!! I get all honey/jasmine/honeysuckle, and though I don't really pick it out, I also have a weakness for scents that have apricot in them. On me, Hony Mone doesn't morph much, and lasts fairly long. Sweet, warm, rich honey/floral without being cloying. Yum!!

  4. I didn't really care for this in the bottle: it was kind of thick with tobacco & amber, so it took me a while to try it, but....

I am so in love with this scent!! It is absolutely delicious on! The tobacco remains evident, but I get the amber and caramel more strongly. Just wonderful. The kind of scent that, when you catch a slight whiff hours later, it just brings a sigh of contentment.

  5. I love Siren. I got it as a frimp in a swap, don't remember with who, but bless you, whoever you were!!! I should say up front that I'm one of those who generally runs screaming from jasmine, so I was shocked that it's in here. But I love it!! I think the jasmine smoothes the edges of the ginger, and the apricot and vanilla fill it out. It's a lovely, round, sweet/sharp scent.

I agree with someone who posted a few pages back - I think it ages into the scent I prefer. The bottle that I ordered was VERY jasmine-y! Oh well, I have 2 imps for the meantime...

  6. Definitely softer, sweeter than I'd imagined. But I love it! I get a sort of undertone of dragon's blood, but there are sweet & green notes that come more to the fore. I guess it's the cherry blossom, but overall, really a lovely scent. I love it now (winter!), but I can definitely see it as a springtime scent.

  7. I got a frimp of Fruitcake in my Stock-Up-On-Midway-Resurrected order, and I was really excited. It smells really good in the bottle - I get a lot of the dark cakey scent. On, I get cherries, apples, almonds, cake, spice...but on me it goes straight to Yankee-Candle-Store-At-Christmas. Nope. Can't wear this. On my daughter, though, it's lovely and light and almost Beaver Moon-ish!!

  8. On me, this goes on absolutely gorgeous! Its chocolate and coffee! MMmmmmmm. Then the chocolate note fades (relatively quickly), and it gets cinnamon-y. Then it mellows altogether, and I wind up with a scent that, oddly, reminds me of Milk Moon, with a hint of something else. The brown sugar? Not sure. The start is so delicious I know I'll wear this again, though it doesn't last very long!

  9. When I put this on this morning, it smelled slightly floral in the imp. Immediately after I put it on, I got a whiff of powder that quickly turned aftershavey. It's settled into something spicy/herbal, probably the patchouli/musk and just a hint of lavender. Oddly (to date myself) it's reminiscent of a perfume I wore in my disco days!

Which is not really a good thing.

I don't have to go wash it off, but I'm not loving it.

  10. ... The essence of overweening pride and unearthly angelic beauty. A regal scent, glowing darkly, elegant and patrician, but unfathomably desolate. Cherubic white sandalwood and golden musk with a dark halo of amber, a breath of imperial florals, unbending woods, and the shadow cast by vetiver and violet.

Got this as a frimp in my last order, and I like it alot!
At first the amber and the sandalwood are dominant, with a subtle floral note. After a few minutes, the sandalwood dims a bit and the violet note comes to the fore. I'm amazed because violet is one of my major dislikes, but here, it's fabulous!!
Lovely! Soft, warm, full, and sweet. When I want to wear a sweetie, it'll be this one!

  11. In the bottle, this is the most gorgeous lavender scent ever!! Unfortunately, after a few minutes the lavender becomes very muted and a gently spicy sweetness takes over. If only the lavender stayed more prominent!!

I love it, but maybe it'll stay better in a locket....

  12. Mmmm, honey! It's sweet, but deep. After a few minutes I get a lovely floral, but can't figure out what it is. *checks description* I think it's the gardenia, 'cos I'm not fond of jasmine, and I like this a lot. After about half an hour, I start to get a spiciness, and, yup - it's the thyme! Really wonderful, though for me it's probably too sweet to put in regular rotation. A keeper, though!

  13. First applied, this smells like pumpkin and dark vanilla. Very vanilla-y. After a few minutes, it gets citrus-y. First the neroli comes out, and it's sort of creamsicle with pumpkin undertones. Then it goes lemony.

I like it a lot, but it's not my favorite Pumpkin. It's a bright, sunshiny, summertime Pumpkin.

  14. I just tried this one this morning, and it's amazing! At first, when I put it on, I got an almost burnt-cake scent. Maybe darkest caramel? Then after a minute, it became chocolate cake! Lovely! It morhed a bit and was figgy, the chocolate cake fading, then a clear, dark fruit note came through - pomegranate! Finally, now, about a half hour later, it's pumpkin-y, with just a hint of caramel in the background.

I don't normally like foodies, but I've always wanted to try the Pumpkins, and I love this one!
