  1. imp: sweet, creamy, floral violet.

wet: very powdery violet, i'm a violet lover but this is a little too much for even me.

dry: this fades pretty fast, becoming a lovely soft violet scent. i get faint whiffs of the chamomile too.

  2. imp: sweet wine. this is not the straight-up grape that wine scents usually smell like though.

wet: honeyed wine with fruit juice added. this doesn't smell smoky at all. it's a gorgeous, playful fruity wine without being boozy at all.

dry: this fades fairly quickly, but even as a faint fruity-honeyed-wine scent, it's gorgeous.

  3. imp: very sweet, spicy, creamy almond.

wet: very intense almond, it's drowns everything else out. not that it's bad, for once i'm actually digging an almond scent!

dry: as this dries the other notes come out, making this a wonderful blend. the patchouli and jasmine are not strong but balance this whole scent well. i'm actually hard=pressed to pick out specific notes once this dries! very well done!

  4. imp: odd hoe the only thing i can smell is oppoponax.

wet: that's better, very dry smoky woods. an almost brittle scent, very jagged and sharp while feeling worn away with age.

dry: this stays pretty woodsy for hours, fading only a little on my skin.

  5. bottle: rich dirt. just like zombi but without the dried rose.

wet: gorgeous, fresh dirt. oddly, i would describe this as a "bright" dirt scent. it smells freshly turned and moist as though a spring rain and some gentle sunshine have touched it.

dry: a bit more grassy as it dries, this is so cheerful to me! this is the scent of rooting around in the the garden in spring, pulling out weeds and readying for planting. this will be a multiple bottle purchase.

  6. bottle: coffee. just like walking into a coffee shop.

wet: cinnamon and coffee with a faint creamy note in the background. but that's when i sniff right up against my skin. at a distance this smells just like a mug of spiced coffee.

dry: this is more spices than anything else as it dries, creamy spice with a tiny touch of coffee. yummy.

  7. bottle: sweet and spicy cake.

wet: this is so pretty, warm spicy cake with the lightest hint of fruit and maybe a touch of booze. so yummy.

dry: the cakes fades as this dries, it smells more like faintly spiced fruit with greenery! so gorgeous!

  8. Kindness begets kindness. Holy hyssop, red apple, massoia bark, and pomegranate with eight different types of honey that represent the sweetness of life and new beginnings.

bottle: very sweet, rich honey with a hint of fruit and hyssop.

wet: this is very sweet. it's a fruity honey scent without being specifically fruity and the honey (for once!) is behaving on my skin, not going too sweet or weird.

dry: getting a lot more hyssop as this dries, very sweet hyssop over golden honey and light, sweet fruit. gorgeous!

  9. imp: faint, fruity musk. very pretty.

wet: this is nicer than i was expecting, it has a luminous quality that i'm having a hard time describing. the florals are tame and the scent is so well-blended that i'm having a hard time pinning down any specific note.

dry: this is very delicate, fading very quickly, but it has a nice shimmery quality that makes me feel clean and fresh.

  10. imp: rich, deep myrrh.

wet: this is pretty smoky myrrh, not really getting any rose or jasmine (which is just as well because those two are horrible on me).

dry: i never got any rose or jasmine, just lots of strong smoky myrrh.

  11. imp: blackberry pie. no joke, i smell sweet, sugary berries with pastry.

wet: smells much more like wine once applied, sweet rich fruity wine with something baking in the background.

dry: this gets boozier as it dries, a very beer-like booze. this is probably one of the most unusual and unique bpal scents i have ever tried.

  12. imp: sweet florals, like lilac.

wet: super-sweet lilac/lilac/floral with a mere hint of something smoky or leathery underneath.

dry: the floral does fade after a while and does let some of the leathery smoky scent out but it's still far more sweet than anything else.

  13. imp: vibrant spices.

wet: this smells like it has cassia but not cinnamon because i'm not getting burned pink by it. it's a very creamy spicy scent, nice for cold weather.

dry: this is a bit like a toasted cassia scent once dry, it's got an almost smoky feel against the creamy spices. very beautiful.

  14. imp: sweet heather.

wet: very floral, not really heather on my skin. doesn't really smell like blackberry either, just a light fruity sweetness.

dry: this fades rather quickly leaving a gentle hint of flowers.

  15. wet: very fresh and green, like when the very first flowers of spring begin to open.

dry: faint watery aquatic and zingy florals. i like this a bit more than i was expecting to.

dry: this is more aquatic once dry. i think i liked the wet stage better but it's till very pretty.

  16. imp: spicy, almost buttery, wood. interesting.

wet: nuts, creamy woods, sweet dried herbs... this is amazing. i think i might be getting a bottle.

dry: this reminds me of gunpowder, but without the carrot. it's rich, creamy nuts and oats. will be buying a bottle with my next order.

  17. Spell-soaked herbs and flowers, cold iron, broom twigs, bundles of moss and patchouli root, and moth dust.

imp: a deep resinous patchouli with some herby green-ness.

wet: this is not the same strong type of patchouli i'm used to, but more of that rich, yet understated, patchouli root scent that my mom and her hippie friends have. actually, this blend reminds me a lot of my mom, herby patchouli.

dry: woodsy, herby patchouli root. might have to apply this to my husband to see how it works on him.

  18. imp: pale musk and floral with something creamy underneath.

wet: this smells very feminine, i get creamy sandalwood with a delicate (yet long-lasting) amber undertone.

dry: the amber strengthens, but i tend to amp amber so that is no surprise. it's very well-balanced by the sandalwood and musk though. luckily, i never got a hint of jasmine.
