  1. Basmati rice and amber! Very “warm”. Kind of nutty?

I wasn’t sure how much I’d go for a basmati rice note, but it’s quite pleasant.

This gets a touch sweeter when it dries, but overall doesn’t seem to morph much on me.

  2. Wet: Sweet apples, honey and amber! (Apple tends to go the potpourri route on my skin, so my fingers are crossed right now...)

Dry: The good news is, my skin didn't turn the apples to potpourri! The bad news is my skin more or less ate the entire scent and only left me with a trace of the orange blossom honey.  Which smells a little soapy on me. .. How kind? 😐

  3. Wet: Ohhhh this one is good. Dark sugary and extra musky honey. Me gusta.

Dry: I totally get the "honey taffy" vibe now. There's a richness that wasn't present in the wet stage, that makes this smell even better than it did before! A rich honey version of smut, essentially.

As someone who doesn't like OG Smut.. I think this one is a winner.

  4. Immediately getting sweet clove when I first spray this.

After it dries, I’m kind of getting a sweet clove and incense type of scent.. that also smells clean?

This one is making my brain hurt. I think I like it enough to keep my little decant, though.

  5. 2020! (This year has an added note of sour apricot.)

Wet: This smells like one of those fancy artisanal lollipops you can buy on Etsy. Black cherry lollipop, with a light splash of booze!

Dry: Okay, this is better than the previous version I tried (2018), but it's still not bottle-worthy for me. Unlike 2018, this one didn't end up being nothing short of a booze blend. I can smell some booze and some black cherry, but there's also some kind of powder note here.

The wet stage was AMAZING, but once again, the dry down isn't doing much for me. I think I'll keep the decant around though to mix in with some hair products.

Eventually, this one will work. Damnit.

  6. 2018 Weenie "When All Colors to Black Are Cast"Ink-black musk and dried blackberries, midnight opoponax and sweet labdanum.

This scent: ink-black vegetal musk, opoponax, velvet myrrh, nagarmotha, black champa, labdanum, and plum honey.

Some similar notes, for sure - the 2018 scent didn't work well on me, but I couldn't resist trying this one out.

Wet: Sweetened myrrh; sweetened by the plum honey, maybe? There's some of the black musk in the background, but as long as it stays there, we're good.

Dry: Myrrh is still the star of the show.  🎵It's been myrrh, all along!🎵  I really enjoy myrrh, but this is borderline single note myrrh on me + some added sweetness.

  7. Wet: A musky, sweet lollipop! (It really does smell like a cherry Blow Pop plus musk - there's a hint of bubblegum.)

Dry: Muskier than the wet stage. Now it's a muskier, sweet lollipop!

    A grown-up, adult lollipop, maybe?

  8. I sprayed this before I checked the notes, and thought "brownie batter!" which I suppose isn't too far off. ;)

When it dries, the mint is there, but it's oh-so-light. It's... mainly just chocolate. I can't seem to find the green tea mochi either, which I was really looking forward to.

I had my husband sniff my hair(without telling him what it was), and he said "chocolate!" Maybe my hair just amps chocolate. Maybe my husband's nose is just as broken as mine. I dunno, man.

  9. Oakmoss and sandalwood! Can’t seem to sniff out the vetiver... at all.

This one isn’t much of a morpher; what I smell on initial spray vs. after it dries is the same.

The oakmoss is absolutely on the sweet (and clean!) side, and it doesn’t seem to fade for a few hours.

  10. Wet: Amber fur (a little powdery) and opoponax. If you get cola from opoponax like me.. you'll probably be smelling it here as well. ;) Amber fur and... cola.

Dry: Yep. Still cola and amber fur - but stronger cola now. A cat that had some coke spilled on it, maybe?

It's not terrible, but it's a combination that just isn't working on me.

  11. Wet: Echoing basically everyone else here - this is a ghostly, haunted lace. Warm, sweet vanilla and cognac. (There's no linen note listed, and it may be my brain playing tricks on me.. but it smells like there's a linen note in here.)

Dry: Oooo this is even better on the dry down. Warmer, and sweeter vanilla than before with cognac and.. I think chamomile? My brain is still smelling a linen note as well.

    Gorgeous. Bottle worthy.

  12. Wet: LEMON SCENTED STICKY BAT WHAT UUUPPP. I'm not a fan of normal Smut, but couldn't resist trying a sour lemon version. I'm not getting ANY Smut here, just a bunch of sugary sour lemon goodness that reminds me of LSSB. (This is a little more sour, though.)

Wet: Some Smut finally snuck in - but it's not bad. This is LSSB, with a dark musky note thrown in.

I don't think I quite understand how I feel about this yet, but I keep going back to sniff it... so I must like it on some level. ;)

  13. Wet: Pomegranate! Tart, rich, and sweet. The pastry note is there, but the pomegranate/red currant/cranberry mix is dominating.

Dry: The dough comes out more now, but that fantastic (and slightly less-sweet but just as tart) pomegranate jelly mix is still leading the way. DELICIOUS, and decent throw on me!

Fellow Sufganiyot lovers - you won't be disappointed!

My sufganiyot ranking is now: Blueberry, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Fig & Cranberry, Raspberry, Blackcurrant.

  14. Side note - I sometimes have skin sensitivity to cinnamon, and I didn't run into any issues with this blend.

Wet: Pumpkin pie filling - heavy on the spices! I could go for some kind of crust/pastry note, but I can't find one yet.

Dry: WHOA THERE. This is just a flat-out STRONG pumpkin spice scent now. (Still no crust note, sadly.)

I don't think this is something I'll hang on to, but I'm glad I got to try it!

  15. Wet: YOOOOOOOOOO. A bright, TART cherry scent (borderline nostril-stinging) with some vanilla cream. This reminds me of Zombie Moon("Homemade blood clot-and-cherry ice cream plopping onto moonlit sand"), but the cherry here is MUCH more tart.

Dry: The tartness of cherry has dried down a bit, and it's even MORE reminiscent of Zombie Moon on me now. Cherries and vanilla cream. Not getting any type of pie crust here, more of like.. pie filling.

This is fantastic! My cherry-vanilla cravings are covered by both Zombie Moon and F#@K, but being the sucker I am, if this ever becomes available as a 5ML... I'm buying it.

  16. Disclaimer: Oud and I are not friends. We glare at each other from opposite sides of the playground. That being said, let's continue...

Wet: Okay, so right off the bat - this isn't the stanky oud that haunts my dreams. It's a mellowed, salty oud? Not getting any pecan scent, it's just.. salty oud.

Dry: Remember when I said about 15 seconds ago this wasn't stanky? Well, it's a smidgen stanky now, but it's not making me run for the hills or anything. Still not a pecan nor a pie in sight. (Or anything reminiscent of.)

I would take this review with a grain of salt if oud tends to work for your skin - for me, it's never worked well, and tends to overpower every other note. :(

  17. Wet: Smokey cognac and lavender. Typing that out, I wouldn't think I would something like that.. but apparently I do!

Dry: ... Smokey cognac and lavender. ;) I think the "smoke" scent has amped up on me quite a bit as it dried.

This is the last of this year's Lilith's decants I'm testing, and is my favorite out of the collection! I think this may be a surprise bottle upgrade - this is really unique to my collection, and I don't think I own any other bottles I can compare this with.

  18. Wet: Agreed with previous reviews - this is fresh lavender-scented laundry.

Dry: Sweeter than the wet stage, but still a lavender laundry scent.

I like this, but not enough for a bottle - I don't typically jam with laundry/linen/dryer sheet kind of scents. That being said, I'll definitely use up my decant as a sleep scent!

  19. Wet: Cake batter, marshmallows, and cardamom. The marshmallows smell powdery!

Dry: This is a bit richer than the wet stage, but all notes are still there. The marshmallows are a little less potent (and a little less powdery) now, while the cake batter and cardamom are taking center stage.

(Not identical notes, but IMO, this works out much better on me than Pink Lovebird did!)

  20. Wet: Lavender and paper - what I imagine it would smell like to be wearing  lavender perfume oil while reading a book. So.. spot on! (Well, minus the "hoodie" smell.)

Dry: The paper note has overtaken the lavender. It's as if a drop or two of lavender oil was spilled on some book pages - you can catch a whiff of it, but it's still mainly just the book's paper you smell.

  21. Wet: A rich vanilla-caramel cream. Absolutely decadent.

Dry: Okay, the rich scent has become quite... buttery. A rich, buttery vanilla-cream scent. Like. RICH rich.

I think this may be too buttery to upgrade to a big bottle, but I'll happily keep my decant around for when the mood strikes!
