This reminds me slightly of Dragon's Heart, but I dislike the cocoa and blood musk, as always.
-
I don't get much of anything from this yet. A very faint scent, not very different from Red Lace for now. Guess maybe it needs to age a little (or a lot). But I have the feeling that in six months to a year it will be very nice.
-
a sweet light juicy cranberry, with a little something else I can't identify, maybe like an almond paste, and coconut.
Get this if you like Lovers in a Carp Steamer
ETA: one of the few BPAL that my husband likes. He said it smells like fruit.

this is very nice. Don't know why I didn't get more of it at the time.
Perhaps it has just matured into something nice and mellow.
Don't get any orange peel at all from this. Just a nice apply-wood scent.

Kypris
in Lupercalia
This is a bit too sickly-sweet for me.
Very much almond, vanilla.
I was hoping for more cherry.
Normally I would swap this away, but I'm keeping it for other, TAL, reasons.

I like this a lot. It is what I was hoping Paper Kite would be, without the plasticy undertone. Winner!
-
First off, I hate the name. It sounds like a bad STD.
"What's that smell?"
"Burning vulva"
(awkward pause) "I'm sorry to hear that."
This is not good on me. If it was just the first three notes, I think it would have been a winner, but as it takes a strange turn.

Interesting. The start of this is very much Lights of Men's Lives, but then it fades.
-
Love the bottle. Yay for penis-fish!
Starts off as a nice brown sugar scent. Awhile later, the champaca arrives, but luckily it is not overwhelming. A definite keeper.

Ahh! Blood Garden and Crimson Christmas! Get it off get it off get it off.

Only kept this so I would have a decant of each halloweenie. Gotta go. Reminds me of why I hated Falling Leaf Moon so badly. I keep wanting "leaves" to work on me and they just do not.

Just received my bottles today. Opened up one and smelt.... Nothing.
I think my nose must be overworked or else it just needs about a year or so to settle.
Think I'll put it in the back of my cupboard and forget about it for a good long while.

This is very nice but not at all what I expected. It smells like a mix between Left his nurse while in a crowd and maybe a bit of Lights of Men's Lives.
A definite tea, fruit, and beeswax smell.
-
This reminds me of Berry Moon. A very nice scent for spring/fall.
-
This is very nice. it reminds me a bit of Plastic Pink Flamingo + Strawberry Moon 09 (I guess the dandelion note). This will probably be the only anniversary scent this year that I get a bottle of.
-
Yes, a bit of snake oil first, followed by a red musk and a bit of chocolate. A bit sickening on me actually.

Snow White
in Yules
This is really nice. I didn't like Snow White before, but that was before I discovered Pink Snowballs.
Also similar to Waltz of the snowflakes.
-
Hate hate hate this.
It reminds me of Falling Leaf Moon and Hexennaught.
Bleh. Washed it off.
As you can see, leave/smoke scents are not my thing.
-
Snow snow snow!
No hint of vanilla for me.
Later get a bit more of the pine and fir.
Don't usually like snow scents (except Pink Snowballs) but will maybe keep this one.
-
When first applied, before reading the notes, I thought this had some cedar in it.
Now, dried, I get mostly fig.
Nice and somewhat masculine scent.
-
This is so nice. Much more of a pure fresh peach than Peach Moon.
Lasts a really long time and comes back as a suprise, like if you change rooms, you can smell it again.
-
In the bottle this smells like Midway to me. Then, wet on skin, a bit of Red Lantern sneaks in (burnt caramel?), followed by just plain burnt.
Oh uh. Need to wait a week or so and see what happens to it. I really like the first stages. Maybe my nose is on overkill (after wearing Red Lantern all day)

I remove all the paper labels from the Lab and replace them with my own.

This smells very nice. Like brown sugar and pumpkin. Not too strong, and not too foody or cloying.

This is a very rich scent that doesn't scream Pumpkin! Very blended. For cooler weather though.
