    De Sade

Sniffing the imp, I smell leather. On, I smell... leather. And it is fantastic. A thief in a dark alley, wearing leather armor, hiding in the shadows only to spring out when least expected. Hey, just like my D&D character...

    Megaera

Orris, black amber, bergamot, plum and grapefruit. Mmmm, fruity and sweet from the imp. I like this one, it is sweet, but the grapefruit keeps it from going to fruit punch on me. Amber goes powdery and nice on me, so as this dries down, it leaves a powdery, sweet, and fruity odor behind. Nice, makes me think of summertime.

    Faustus

Frankincense and Violet? Violet turns to sugared violets on me, I love the way they smell. Frankincense is my favorite of all the resins. The combo, is wonderful. Dry sweet wood, with sweet candy flowers, the cinnamon spices it up nicely. This is a wonderful combination for me.

    Black Dahlia

This was a gift imp from the lab. Jasmine, heavy and sweet in the imp. On, it is a heavy floral. I don't love florals, but this smells very heady. In small amounts I actually like this, but I must apply it lightly. I will most likely swap this though, as I don't wear florals, they just aren't me.

    Jailbait

Jailbait smells like bubblegum out of the imp. On it smells like a young girl, who has gotten into her mother's perfume. Berry bubblegum, sweet, with a light floral underneath. I like it, it is fresh and youthful.

    Wrath

Wrath smells spicy and hot out of the imp. I was thinking it would be like Tintagel, but it wasn't. I do not smell any of the dragon's blood, I only smell cinnamon. I was hoping to get the other notes, but it was just red-hots. As it dried down, I still get the cinnamon, but I also get glimpses of the pepper and clove. Not bad, but not my favorite dragon's blood blend.

    Zombi

Rosey dirt form the imp. This smells of earth, rose and moss. There is a deep, damp, and green scent here too, lurking in the background. I like this, it reminds me of Buriel, which I love. I am going to hold on to the imp for a bit, and see if this turns into a love too.

    Arcana

Strong lavender. On it stays strong lavender and not much of anything else on me. It will make a delightful bath scent, I think. As a perfume oil, too much lavender for me.

    Wilde

Out of the imp... lavender and something very sharp, it tickles at my nose. On, this is an interesting blend. It smells like a spicy floral. I get spice from lavender sometimes, so I think that is it here. The bergamot lends a citrus scent, the tonka sweetens it a bit, making it softer. The first time I wore it the jasmine took over after about 1/2 an hour. And I don't really like jasmine all that much! The second time it stayed in the background. I loved it the second time around.

    Zephyr

This smells sweet in the imp. On, it still smells sweet, but there is a spicy floral here as well. It is a very light and pretty scent. It smells of lemon and wood under the flowers, and is so refreshing. I think this will be brilliant for spring. And the vanilla in this one did not go crazy and overpower the blend!

    Niflheim

This smelled wonderful in the imp, but on something in it gave me a headache. It smells dark and gloomy, and wonderful. Then whatever gives it it's foggy watery note promptly gives me a headache and I have to go wash it off. Off to swaps with it.

    Blood Amber

Mmmm, dragon's blood. This blend is very simple on me. I get the spicy, almost floral dragon's blood scent and a powdery dry scent from the amber. It stays exactly how it smells in the imp on me, and is quite nice on.

    Bewitched

Out of the imp... green herbs and berries. This smells like berry herb tea, it dries down to a wonderful fruity and herbal scent. It smells fresh and juicy, I think it will be delightful this summer. I get a hint of sage, which is lovely. A very nice blend.

    Centzon Totochtin

Out of the imp... chocolate dragon's blood. On I smell wine, but there is chocolate too. It is a dark chocolate, like unsweetened chocolate. There is the spicy smell of dargon's blood here as well. This dries down on me to smell like chocolate covered Tintagel. Without the leather.

    Absinthe

Out of the imp, licorice. This is very unique, it smells of licorice, but lemony, mint licorice. It has a faint bitter odor also, wormwood? It tickles my nose, and makes me keep sniffing it. It changes too, going from the licorice to lemon, then back to the licorice again. It is one that I will be wearing a few more times, I want to see how it ages and how many other aspects of the oil will come out, before I decide if it will be a 5ml for me.

    The Hesperides

Out of the imp... apples and herbs. On, it smells like early autumn. Apple picking on a fall afternoon. Woods, green herbs and grasses, apples, and damp earth, what a wonderful combination. It is absolutely beautiful. I will be purchasing this in a 5ml in late spring, so it arrives for summer and fall.

    Velvet

Envelop yourself in the soft, sensual embrace of gentle sandalwood warmed by cocoa vanilla and a veil of deep myrrh. Out of the imp chocolate and vanilla. Uh-oh, vanilla and I don't get along. Within minutes of putting this on, I smell like vanilla with a wisp of cocoa covered sandalwood. A few minutes later, vanilla and more vanilla. Why does my skin hate me?

    Arachne

Out of the imp... sweet and herby. On this is lovely, it is light and silky like spider webs. It sticks to the nose and skin. It smells sweet and herby, with a light, floral, woodsy scent in the background. Beautiful, scent.

    Incantation

Out of the imp, this smells sharp, like cologne. On, there is a sharpness, but as it dries down it leaves a lemon and sandalwood scent behind. The vetiver adds a bit of greenness to the blend, and there is a faint smoky note lurking in the background. I like this, I'm keeping the imp for now, it may move to the bottle list.

    Somnus

Out of the imp, a sharp floral smell. On, there is lavendar, maybe jasmine? I have fallen asleep both times I have tried it, by morning I feel refreshed and can no longer smell this.

    Crossroads

Out of the imp I smell dust and earth. On it keeps the dusty earthy smell, the herbs and moss are wonderful, green and loamy. The floral is very light, like dried flowers, a pallid reminder of what they used to smell like. It dries down to a earthy, green, light floral. Very nice.

    Jolly Roger

Jolly Roger was spicy, salty, and rugged. I can't wear aquatics though and it gave me a headache. It smells wonderful though. Rum, leather, spice and the sea. Stupid nose and head!

    Dracul

This is an intriguing blend, I have been trying all the tobacco blends, because I love Hearth. The balsam and mint in this jump out from the imp. On the mint adds a tingle when sniffing, the orange blossom softens the fir, balsam, and tobacco. The spices warm it up, so that it smells delicious. One of the "I have to keep sniffing smells". Someone said it reminds them of what Aragorn would smell like, and I have to agree. It is an earthy, sleeping outside, campfires, and having no where to call home but the wilderness kind of scent.

    Jack

I have tried Jack 1 and Jack 2 Jack 1 smelled like a jack-o-lantern to me. Waxy candle, hollowed out burnt pumpkin flesh, with spices sprinkled over all. Jack 2 smells sweet and spicy. I don't get any waxy smell, it is pumpkin, peach, spices, with a note that smells almost like buttery pie crust. It smells like pumpkin pie or pumpkin bread baking on a cool fall afternoon. I like both, but prefer Jack 2 to Jack 1.

    Blood Kiss

Sweet and spicy in the vial. On, my skin takes the vanilla and it then overpowers all other parts of this fragrence. It smells wonderful in the oil burner though. The cherry is juicy, the vanilla sweet, the poppy, wine, and honey add an interesting depth to it. It makes the house smell warm and inviting. Oh, how I wish it smelled as good on me.
