In the bottle, this is very subtle - almost like what I would expect from a traditional perfume. On my skin, there's something almost sharp - but very light and sheer. When it dries, it's very light, very subtle, very beautiful - but not a WOW for me. I'll pass this along.

    Rakshasa

In the imp, this is a good blend of patchouli and sandalwood. On my skin, the patchouli and the sandalwood stay on pretty equal footing. When it dries, it's more patchouli than sandalwood - I never got any rose. This one's not for me.

    Sundew

In the imp, this is light and very naturally sweet. It gets slightly warmer on my skin, and when it dries, it's a very warm, skin-like smell - like me, only sexier. Very light, very subtle.

In the imp, I get the herbalness of lavender and the clean scent of lotus. On my skin, it's spicy, with the lotus underneath. When it dries, the spices and the lavender are not mixing well - this one's not for me.

In the imp, this is very light & clean - almost ozone-y. On my skin, it's a little softer - I'm getting wisteria, but no myrrh or anise. When it's dry, the pomegranate comes out, which I like, but there's not enough here for me.

In the imp, I found this unpleasant - lots of orris, and sandalwood. On my skin, it's better; the orris and sandalwood still dominate - just a hint of lavender comes up. When it dries, it's very light and sweet - nice, but not WOW.

    Old Moon

In the imp, it's light and clean - I'm getting the lilac & violet. It gets a little sharp on my skin initially - and then the orris calms down the flowers. When it dries, it's sweet, but subtle - the violet leads. Very nice!

In the imp - I must be getting the fresh flowing water, because the scent that I'm getting doesn't match any of the other notes. There is a sort of very light sweetly smoky / resins scent about it. On my skin, the peony comes out, and a hint of the grass. When it dries - I think what I thought was smoke was actually the peony/tulip? I still get a lot of that, plus clean grass. It fades into almost nothing, so I'll be passing this along.

    Hollywood Babylon

In the imp, this smells candy-ish - I don't get the notes listed, just a strange fake candy smell. It smells plasticky to me on my skin - no fruitiness, no sweetness - and it's very subtle, very hard to smell. When it dries, it's still plastic. Sad!

    Kyoto

In the imp, there's the sweetness of the cherry blossom and the licorice-ness of the anise. It rounds out on my skin - the anise gets stronger, overcoming the cherry blossoms. When it dries, it's almost gone, and what's there is sandalwood. I'm so disappointed - I had really high hopes for this one.

    Shoggoth

An amorphous, radiant, incandescent scent. Ever changing, protoplasmic and primordial: white amber, green coconut meat, iris, palmarosa, Chinese peony, lime, water lily, snowdrop, muguet, lemongrass, osmanthus, wisteria, glassy musk, and hinoki. In the imp, this is a mix of the flowers with the lemongrass over top - sharp but sweet. On my skin, it's a strange, bright, alien smell - the lightness and edge of the lemongrass, the headiness of the florals, the citrus bite of the lime - definitely interesting. When it's dry, it's very interesting, cool scent - it's very well-blended. It's not for me, but someone else will really dig this.

    Shadow Witch Orchid

In the imp, this is a sweet, rich floral - very nice. On my skin, it's very subtle, very sophisticated. I really like this one - it's a simple, sophisticated, slightly sweet scent.

    Havana

Date palm, dried tobacco, snakeroot, and leather. In the imp, this is leather-heavy up front, with just a hint of palm. On my skin, it softens and widens - I'm not able to pick out any notes I recognize, but it's a nice scent. It's very soft and subtle when it dries - the leather is the most dominant note, but it's the well-worn soft leather of Western Diamondback, and not the sharp leather note from scents like Wanda. Nice, but not for me.

    Sea of Glass

In the imp, this creates a light, ozone effect - very open, very clear. On my skin, this is a very reflective scent, bright, shiny, clear - like sunlight off of a mirror. When it dries, it's all ozone - very pure, very clear. Not for me on its own, but a must-have for ozone lovers and may be good for layering.

    Lurid

In the imp, I get mostly currant - with ozone over it. On my skin, it's still currant up front; the resins come out - and just a hint of the musk. When it's dry, the currant is still the strongest note, with the lavender over it and the slightest hint of ozone. Really interesting and nice - not a keeper for me, but I can see this working really well for someone else.

    Seraglio

In the imp, I get the almond right away, and then the orange peel - mmmmm. On my skin, the almond is even more prominent - deeper in, there's a hint of the rose and neroli. When it dries, it's very soft, very warm, but also very subtle - well-blended, and can't really pick any individual notes out. I don't think I'll keep this one - although it's lovely, it's not a WOW for me. Sad, though.

    Lady Una

In the imp, the honey musk is the first thing I get, and then it's the vanilla bean. On my skin, it's definitely very honey-y and musk-y; I'm not getting the leaves, but I do still smell the vanilla and now the spices. Dry, it's settled down into a very rich, very warm, very soft scent - all honey and vanilla on my skin. It's nice, but not a wow! scent.

    Madame Tracy

In the imp, this is strongly floral, especially the violet. On my skin, it's a very well-blended floral - I can't pick out anything specific. When it dries, it's very, very floral - too much so for me - sort of conjures the old-lady-living-room potpourri on my skin. I'll pass it along to someone that will appreciate it more.

    Haunted

In the imp, this is dark, mostly black musk - if I didn't know better, I'd say there was patchouli here. On my skin, it's still patchouli-esque - all the musk, none of the softness or light that I associate with amber. When it dries, there's a better balance of the amber and musk - which makes for a very strange smell. Very good match to the concept, but not something meant for me to love.

    Ultraviolet

In the imp - Whew! It's all mint in the imp. On my skin, it's more eucalyptus-y, with the mint right there. NOTE: as it dried, it felt very, very cold on my skin - like the inverse of the reaction that I get when I wear blends with a lot of cinnamon in it. Very strange. Once it dried - there is absolutely no neroli or violet in this for me, and it's never let up cold-burning my elbow. I so wanted to love this one, but it's just not meant to be.

    Scorpio 2007

In the imp, this is definitely dark - I'm not able to pick out any individual notes. On my skin, the dragon's blood comes out, the basil lends an almost minty freshness, and the galangal is dark and almost sour. When it dried, it got slightly sweet - with the spiciness of the dragon's blood; it's almost cola-like. I like the dry-down, but as a whole, I think it's a swapper.

    Muse

A light, invigorating floral and citrus blend. Tuberose, lotus and jasmine with a hint of lime. In the imp, this is a great balance of tuberose & lime. On my skin, the heady florals come out - the tuberose and jasmine especially. Unfortunately, when it dries, I'm getting that "dryer sheet" scent that I get occasionally from florals - it's not for me.

    Tristran

In the imp, this is very woody - redwood especially - with just a hint of mint. On my skin, it's still very woodsy - my dreaded enemy the patchouli pops up - but it's pretty well balanced by the woods. When it dries, woodsiness is still there, and the mint and lemon are contributing a lightness, even though you can't really pick out those notes. This is not quite for me.

    Dragon's Claw

In the imp, well - it's hard to get anything out of the imp directly for me. On my skin, the sandalwoods dominate - there's just a hint of dragon's blood's rich spiciness. When it dries, the dragon's blood and sandalwood are about on equal footing, but they're just not a good combination for me.

    Vechernyaya

In the imp, this is all patchouli. *sigh* On my skin, it's still mainly patchouli - there's a lightness to it that I'm attributing to the poppy. When it dries: oh, patchouli - why do you hate me?!
