I got this in a swap from AnaisSatin and I love it. I had been looking for a woodsy scent that didn't have vetiver. I love Magus. It starts out cedar and sandalwood and when dry the frankincense sweetens it up. It is everything I had hoped it would be.

Tattoos can be sensitive even after you think they should be all healed. I know if I scratch certain parts of mine, the edges of the outline will raise up like that. You might want to keep scents off the tat from now on. The tat I have that is about 12 years old doesn't do it, but my other, more recent one does. I have no idea why. I think it's just one of those thangs. Could depend on location, colour, how deep the ink went, etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The tattoo I am talking about is 13 years old. It hasn't happened with any other oils... and Arcana is already gone, so no worries. I am usually pretty sensitive to cinnamon, but I haven't had any red, burning welts with BPAL oils. I have Wrath on the way and Inferno too. I am expecting red welts with those . Who cares about burning skin when you smell so good?!

Check this one out! I have a large, black tattoo on my forearm. I swiped Arcana once. The entire tattoo tingled and raised up. My tattoo stood up off of my skin. Why? Has this ever happened to anyone? I have many, many tattoos and this has never happened to me before.

Dragon's Milk Having read so many good reviews, I had super high hopes for this one. OMFG. I LOOOOVE this. For several reasons.... 1. It has honeyed vanilla and Dragon's Blood. 2. It lasts all day 3. It makes me feel delicious, even when I am absolutely not.

Nine Mysteries It starts out lovely mint and then turns into mint citrus. I just can't do mint citrus. Maybe in the oil burner.......

Dragon's Bone The dry, thin scent of a draconic ossuary. Dragon's blood resin with white sandalwood, dusty orris and crisp blondewood. Ahhhh. Dragon's Blood and sandalwood. Perfection. I love Dragon's Blood and I love sandalwood. And I love them together. It reminds me of a certain time of my life. An experimental time. Lots of memories come when I wear this. I love it.

Peace I hae no idea what is in this, but I definately like it! It is crisp and clean and I can see myself wearing this in the middle of winter. I am on the verge of naming what I smell. Is it juniper? Lavender? I definately smell a sharp, astringent herb...hmmm. Oh, well, I really don't care what is in it. I love it anyway.

Arcana While most people seem to think that this blend is soothing, I find it invigorating. Lovely!!! I can smell lavender, rosemary and lemon verbena. Very stimulating! My husband used to use rosemary oil for mental clarity while finishing his bachelors degree, and I would always be putting lavender under his nose to soothe him. I know this will be a family favorite.

Jester This is strawberry bubbalicious all the way. I know for a fact my little sister would love this. She collects all that is strawberry. I am also reminded of a certain childrens shampoo that I bought once. Way too fruity for me, but charming just the same!

Laudanum Ohhhh! This smells like a homemade rootbeer I tried once! Dry and just barely sweet. I also get a nummy whiff of nutmeg. It does smell vaguely medicinal, but I really like that. This is a nice change to all of my dark, spicy scents.

I was so excited to get O. It was the first imp I tried from my very first order from the Lab. I am so sad. I could hardly smell it. I really put a whole lot on..."knowing" how much I would like it, but I could hardly smell anything. What I did smell was nice, sweet honey. It did literally smell like a bed strewn with rumpled sheets the morning after, but I really had to ram my nose into my arm to smell it. So sad. So, I sent it off to Indigowhatever with a swap package that ran amok.

Lolita I can't believe that I love this! I did not have any expectations for this blend because I am a spicy, earthy kinda girl. HOWEVER!!! I fucking love this!!! It is soft and sweet. It reminds me of a young girls perfume. Wow. It reminds me of those Strawberry Shortcake dolls that you squeeze and they blow sweet smelling kisses. And that is a totally positive thing. Yay!

Lilith In the bottle it smells tangy and sweet. The first thing I smell when I swipe it on my arm is very sweet fruit. It gradually got spicier and kinda reminds me of Masabakes. Probably the currant/wine. I think this may be a bit sweet/fruity for me. I really love the spiciness though. Hmmmmm. Not as dark smelling as I had hoped.

I am in love. Sin is definately a 10 ml. I got an imp of this in my first order from the lab. Cinnamon, amber, patchouli, vanilla OMFG. I wore this to dinner at my sister in laws house at Thanksgiving and my husband could not stop smelling me. Hell, I couldn't stop smelling me. I didn't get any sandalwood, but that is okay. Very sexy, very delicious.

Damn, Damn, Damn!!!! I wanted to love this so much!!! It is the vetiver! Anything that has vetiver (except Bloodlust) in it just sucks on me!!! It started out fantastic, very peppery and grapefruit ( ) but when it dried down it was replaced with the vetiver. I guess I will just have to wear it in a locket or something because the notes in this blend are just awesome. I love scents with pepper and grapefruit... Lex Talionis is exactly what I have been looking for. I am just sad that I won't be able to wear it on my skin.

Hellfire When I first put this on it smells like O. Which is not a bad thing, but I don't want O out of this, I want sexy, smoky leather and pipe tobacco! Okay, it is morphing...Ahhhhhhh. Cherry pipe tobacco and a well worn, dark red leather armchair. I close my eyes and see a crackling fire in a huge fire place in a room filled with books and highly polished wood floors. Wow. I find this blend very sexy. It is so much more sex to me than O was. Absolutely a 10 ml for me.

Holy shit. My sister is going to freak over this! I got this from the lovely silverangel. It is a warm, breezy night on a black sand beach. That is the image I get. I normally am not a "tropical" fan, but this is just unbelievable. My sister is always searching for the smell of the beach in a bottle. I got some Pele for her, hoping it would be perfect. I KNOW she is going to jump up and down and scream when I give her Black Pearl. Coconut, iris, hazelnut, musk....I can smell them all, but not seperately. Perfection! I guess I should stop being floored by Beth's genius. Her oils are truly art.

Eclipse is almonds at first whiff. For about 3 minutes on my skin it is pure almonds and then it turns into a lovley cinnamon and vanilla. I love cinnamon, vanilla and almonds. Sitting here at the computer I actually looked around a couple of times trying to figure out what smelled so good. Delicious!

Blood Amber I am now convinced that I will love any scent with Dragon's Blood in it. I swiped it on both wrists and initially smelled lots of dbr with a hint of amber. Lovely. Something strange happened! One wrist smelled almost purely of DBR and the other of Amber. I have never had that happen before. Amaltheagray was right...almost a Bloodlust lite... Delicious!

I love pumpkin anything and was looking forward to some pumpkin goodness. Unfortunately, the only pumpkin I smell is when I first open the bottle. On my skin it is cream and pumpkin pie spices without the pumpkin. It is wonderfully creamy and yummy without being foody. Early this morning I smelled the crook of my elbow where I had swiped Jack last night. I smelled a mild cider smell, sighed with delight and fell back asleep. While it isn't the pumpkin I was hoping for, it is still a joyous autumn scent, very cozy and snuggly. I love it.

Voodoo In the bottle: Oh my! Spicy, creamy, sweet, and tangy....mmmmm. Wet on skin: First whiff is a sharp orange-y smell which quickly fades into lovely, spicy and dark. Dry: I love this. It is sweet without being too sweet, tangy without sourness and luxuriously creamy. Today is rainy and cold and I am enveloped in this cozy cloud of Voodoo. Ahhhhhh. eta: grrrr!!!! I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Vetiver. fuck. so, it is either in a locket or in the oil burner, 'cause this has turned into pure voodoo vetiver!

Faustus In the bottle: Mmmmmm. Frankincense. Wet on skin: Lovely frankincense, but strangely, no cinnamon or violet. Dry: Still powerful frankincense and nothing else Final thoughts: I totally love this even though I couldn't get those coveted cinnamon and violet scents. However, my husband hated it, calling it potpourri scented. So, off to swaps.

I would have to say Pele also...I made some body lotion with Pele and my 10 and 15 yr old nieces both loved it...plus it is light, so it won't be overpowering.

Yum. I think this would be great layered with Ace of Pentacles. I think I will make my husband try this one! Do I smell something...Brimstoney about this? ETA: It has to be the vetiver. It makes it a little too masculine for me....maybe. I try so hard to love every scent!!

Rome I absolutely love this and I usually cannot tolerate roses. It has a spicy quality that I found in Wolfsbane, but the rose is much more quiet. It makes me think of painfully bright days that are ice cold. Bundled up with this lovely scent peeking out from my scarf. It will be great to wear this winter. It feels icy and oddly comforting. I am going for a 5ml with this one!!
