    Wanton

I love Patchouli and Sandalwood. I am not fond of rose. Rose normally gives me headaches and/or makes me smell like Grandmother's Attic. I had be Wanton to give something different a try. (Doncha just loves puns? Or not) First Application: yumm. I smell the Patchouli & Sandalwood. Uh-oh I smell the rose. A dusty sort of rose smell. I'm thinking this doesn't bode well. Dusty Rose=Grandmas attic, ya know. After a bit: Patchouli comes through on this, just a hint of rose almost an undertone. I think this is a keeper. Itl lasts about 4 hours or so. Wonderful smell. No attic. No real one identifiable scent. Very well blended. The drydown is just wonderful. I may have to order this...

    Forbidden Fruit

Ummm - not for me. I didn't like it in the bottle, didn't like it on my skin. Reminded me of Smarties (those little sugary candy pill thingies). Eww. On it smelled no better, at least on me. It sort of turned into this strange, over-ripe bowl of sour cherries thing. Again. Oh no. Maybe this will turn into something after a while. After awhile, it had pretty much turned as much as it was gonna. One thing I have to commend it for is the long lasting aspect. It does stick around. I didn't wash it off. I rarely do because scents do change. Although I didn't wash it off, I shan't be reapplying it either. May work for some, but not on me. Other mentioned Lotus - perhaps that is what I am picking up that doesn't work on me. Who knows.

    O

This was a special imp which just appeared in my order. I read up on "O" and thought, what the Devil, I'll give it a try. I never dreamed I'd like it. I am not a subtle scented wench. First application - Nice. I was very leary because it smells sooo sweet. Almost like honey. Hummm, this isn't bad - I now get a nice vanilla smell. Again not overpowering, but nicely pleasant. A bit later: The sweetness has mellowed. I do not fear the bees as I did in the begining. I find myself smelling my wrists because I just love the smell. I would never guessed. It is still Vanilla/honey/Amber. Erotic - it has an erotic smell to me. A very alluring, warm fragrance. Maybe it is the vanilla that makes me think sex. Whatever the reason I like this. Thanks to the imp who threw this imp in my stuff. I never EVER would have tried this. I am so glad. This goes on my "order a bottle" list. Kisses

    Blood Amber

In the bottle it smells sort of sweet and a little flowery. I think the Amber is what I amidentifying with sweet, which is odd. I like the first impression. First app: Sweet flowers –gardenia maybe Jasmine something darker underneath. Maybe the Amber is fighting to stay around. Smells very different on me, than in the bottle. But it still a nice smell. After a few hours: Hey! This lasts a pretty long time. It still smells sort of sweet/flowery, but not in a bad way. Not powdery either. It is as though I catch a whiff of it and it makes me stop and think what is it. Oh it is the oil.... I like that in a scent. Not forceful but not weak either. Not the signature scent I am looking for, but a nice one.

    Brimstone

Wow - interesting stuff here in Brimstone. The write up is an accurate description - gritty. This is a very dark and heavy scent upon first application and in the bottle. It really does remind me of smoldering ash. Someone likened it (in a previous review) of that odd smell when burning treated lumber. I smell that as well, but not in an unfavorable way. I love the smell of smoke. After a few minutes I begin to pick up a spicy, peppery smell. Almost like fresh ground black pepper. Adds interest as the fire and smoke fade ever so slightly. I am left with a rather bold and masculine scent, which is good for me. Very unusual. I keep coming back to the word dark. Dark isn't a smell but it evokes that feeling (and yes I know dark isn't a feeling either). I am so bad at this, please bear with me. Long lasting me. Dries down into a less combative scent. This is not light or ladylike. Deep, rich, a scent not to be messed with. I'll keep it.

    Crossroads

Wow I thought I'd like this one, but it just did NOT work on me. It smelled really nice in the imp - strong, but earthy. First Application: OMG the smell was so strong I could actually taste it. And it wasn't pleasant - it was sort of acrid and sharp. After a few it was still strong, but then the florals came out and continued to assult my senses. ylang-ylang and jasmine seemed to permeate my nose. I actually washed this off and still could smell it. I have an odd chemistry I suppose, but this did not work for me.

    Burial

I was a bit disappointed in this scent. It didn't have much staying power for me. That is not too unusual - most scents do not linger on me for some reason. I liked the scent at first, it smelled sort of woodsy. As time passed, the scent became powdery and sort of old lady-ish. Then it faded away. I was hoping to like this as I liked the earthy fresh-turned soil sound of this. It just did not work for me. Oh well. Try, try again!
