Future Primitive--never tried it, but Four and Twenty Blackbirds, Dust Witch, Opium Den and Pumpkinhead sound especially nice from the fall line! Rook and Raven sounds glorious, and White Witch and Maple Pecan sound great.
Knitted things--Y'all know I do that too, but love other people's work, especially fingerless gloves ❤️ I don't really need stuffies though, I make way too many of them for myself. lol
Horror movies--I can't think of any right off. If anybody should run across an odd little film called Fur on dvd, though, I'd love to own that.
I may have bought several full size Rituel de Fille makeup items in a frenzy over their whole vibe. If I tested something once or twice (and it can be sanitized), would you be interested? sure!
Are you interested in trying different skincare products from higher end, clean brands? yes
Any interest in anything from Torrid, noting their "fangirl" and Halloween collections are updated? I might be too fat for most anything, but would be willing to provide extra size info and try!
What on the following list would you like to receive something related to (or have something donated to in your and Joni's honor?)
· animal rescue
· inappropriate candies (either in shape or in contents—ex., boozy candies, creatively shaped peanut brittle…)
any, really, but especially animal rescue, pie, and inappropriate candies. lol
I'll be going to Seattle, London and Paris during this round- anything you'd love to have from any of these locations? omg, anything! postcards, pins, yarn, any cool local snacks, whatever small thing you might afford. (do they still make Cadbury Roses chocolates? I remember those being a class fave the summer I studied in Ireland, and I haven't had any in ages)
Is there anything you would particularly like from Japan? Stationary, bento supplies, a particular snack, etc. The fall flavors for kitkats this year are Chestnut, Sweet Potato and Apple Pie. anything kawaii is fun! I would love to have a real bento box, I like fancy chopsticks too. Do they still make dark chocolate (aka 'mens' argh) Pocky? I love it but it's hard to find. Any of those fall kitkats would be fun to try. Anything as I mentioned regarding other places too.
Thinking about really good natural food stores like Natural Grocers or Whole Foods, if you could have ANY bath and beauty or body care items, what would you love? I like to try nice scented natural soaps and lotions and lip balms.
Also what kind of treats, snacks, foods, condiments, bulk items, teas, housewares from the same natural food stores would you love? hm, dark chocolate covered anything. I love to try teas, though I have a pretty good stash. If my witch could track down any authentic African rooibois, I would kiss your toes. I have a hoarded bit I was gifted with last year that is the best stuff in the verse.
Also, are there any particular sustainable kitchen or household items you would love to receive? can't think of anything right off.
Did anything catch your eye from the Liliths? I think I actually escaped that one intact. There were several things i might have liked to sniff, but not so much that I was going to spend on decants.
Would you like anything from Lush? I may have this in my questionnaire, but I really like anything scented with Karma, Vanillary, or Lord of Misrule. (well, not bath melts, I don't like my tub slippery) and my face likes a periodic meeting with Coalface soap. Not sure about any of their new stuff, haven't had a chance to look, or go to our store and sniff. lol
Is there anything kind of weird and niche about which you feel this way, fellow witchees? I'm getting back into cross stitch, so anything related to that, especially patterns that are snarky or nerdy. And I have a collection of tiny Iron Man figures on the window sill above my kitchen sink; my favorites are ones in the suit but without the mask or helmet. What can I say, I like to see Tony's face. lol
Kickstarter (and similar): Any thoughts, witches? I've supported a few cool things in the past.
Do you have an Etsy/Goodreads/Amazon or anything else wishlist you’d like to share? my Goodreads is sorely out of date, please do not refer to it. lol. My etsy is under hellcatblue, my Amazon is under my name. If you have questions about anything, like, which of the dozens of cross stitch patterns or needle minders I wish for most, please ask!
And what’s your preferred wrist/necklace size? I think my measurements are on my questionnaire. Necklace wise, anything 20 inches or longer I like best. oh! I do need a 20 inch silver colored chain, if you run across one, witch mine. I broke the chain on my favorite pendant when I went to adjust my shoulder belt while driving and my thumb got caught in the chain. Bracelets: I like stretch ones, slightly looser than my wrist size, or adjustable ones, the kind of macrame-like ones, especially the ones with pretty semi precious stones, agates and such.
Does anything from Bird & Blend take your fancy? the Sticky Chai sounds right nice!
applying some brown mustard here
Wash cloths--I make them but as usual, I love what other people make too
World Market--haven't been in ages, I don't even remember what all they have. lol. A gift certificate would not go amiss, methinks.
There's a special thing happening over at Rituel de Fille this weekend, where some gorgeous makeup items are coming back for just a couple of days. I'll be placing an order Sunday or Monday- anything that might strike your fancy, either from the special sale or from the site in general? (https://ritueldefille.com) too late for this, sorry
How do you feel about tarot or oracle decks? Would you be interested in any (for artwork or for mystical purposes)? New or used? yes to all of the above. I love tarot.
Would pigment samples from companies like M.A.C. or Notoriously Morbid tickle your fancy? If so, what colors catch you eye? I've tried with a couple of MACs, but they don't agree with me for some reason.
do you have a favourite saying or quote? hm. a couple I really like: 'Worrying is praying for something you don't want to happen' (Robert Downey Jr), and 'Never let a son of a bitch distract you from doing what's right' (Ice-T)
How do you feel about spicy foods, and where on the Scoville scale do you hit your limit? please. I live in Nashville, my parents' first dates were to eat our iconic hot chicken, what do you think? lolol. Seriously, I like spicy, but not crazy spicy, hot for hot's sake. I like hot, but flavor. Nando's Peri-Peri sauce is my current fave. as for the Scoville, probably about 10,000 max?
How do you feel about coloring books, especially those pertaining to a personal interest or fandom? sure, would enjoy
Alcohol--i love hard cider, it is my jam. My bff's mom makes homemade Kahlua and gifts me a big bottle of it every Christmas, and I love it in chocolate milk. Wines, I'm picky about, I dont like them very dry; moscato is my favorite of those I have tried. Liquor-wise, I like rum, bourbon and whiskey (Jack, specifically) best.
Nail Polish: Do you need or want some? If so, what colors and brands are you interested in? I don't NEED it exactly, but I do like it, particularly blues and purples, and some greens. I like sparkly ones, but more the ones with fine glitter than the ones with big chunks. As for shades, I really like light grey-blues and sage or slate greens.
Does anyone else do nail wraps? nope
What about postcards? I like them! old ones, new ones, whatever.
Is anyone interested in anything from the Nocturne Alchemy Halloween release (or, presumably, anything else from the site)? (goes to check it out) mm, I'd love to smell Blood Queen, This Mortal Coil, Poe, Hallowed Evening, and Change of Heart!
How do you feel about salt? I don’t mean, like, salted nuts or potato chips. I mean straight-up salt, like alder-smoked finishing salt or Hana Flake sea salt. I like sea salt, and the pink Himalayan stuff.
I am infamous for baking (shortbreads savory and sweet, poundcake, various cookies and bars), butter caramels (flavored or plain), and catnip. Are any of these relevant to you or your household? yes to any and all of the above.
Do you like to cook and do you need/want any spices for such pursuits? i do like to cook, and I am kind of addicted to Penzeys spices I do need some cumin, right now; I'm running low and my aunt loves my chicken shawarma which takes a fair bit of it.
Would you wear any of these?
Fern , Nuada, Manannan, Duleek Abbey or an infinity scarf or tube cowl tall enough for a hood (like this scarf or this cowl for shape example)? super pretty, but I'm not crazy about cowls--having to put on and take off over my head gets on my nerves and I get makeup on them.
Do you have any utilitarian needs for everyday life? Things that would help or that you've been needing or wanting for work or whatever? mm, can't think of anything right off.
What kind of vegan snacks do you like? And vegan chocolate...favorites? I'm not crazy about vegan stuff--everything I've tried tastes really dry to me. (that said, I will try most anything chocolate, and am partial to almonds and cashews)
How would you describe your crafting style? Whimsical & Cute? Elegantly modern? Totally Traditional? it varies! I guess largely traditional, kind of cute, often weird or quirky, frequently informed my pop culture. I mean, my current cross stitch WIP is Tony Stark giving the finger with his prosthetic arm, captioned 'I LIVED BITCHES', so, that tells you all you need to know, I think. lolol
So....we are about to process a metric f*ton of green tomato relish, which is basically bread and butter pickles but with sliced green cherry tomatoes. Is this relevant to any witchees? I'm not crazy about pickles but i will try most anything, especially homemade stuff!
How do you celebrate Halloween/Samhain? Do you dress up? Would you like something for your costume? And am I the only person left on the planet who wears socks? I decorate arouns the house, buy candy, then end up eating most of it if enough kids don't show up. lol. I used to dress up when I was working, but not right now. And NO you are not the only one who wears socks!
Are you interested in anything from Art Of Tea or Adagio Teas? I love tea! I have a fair bit, but anything chai or rooibois is always welcome. Adagio has a blend inspired by the Dragon Con carpet that I really like.
I make light-weight hairfalls, doll-style, using a variety of fun stuff, like ribbons, lace and soft batting. Would you be interested in receiving a set in the colors of your choosing? (blushes) don't know exactly what that is...sorry.
