Are there any particular movies, tv shows or cd's that you've been meaning to buy for years but just never got round to getting? Would you mind a gently used dvd/cd if your witch had it or could get it?? No problem with gently used DVD's. Defying Gravity would be awesome, and/or Pushing Daisies. Thought of some other ones - not officially out on DVD yet, so would have to be homemade/recorded. I have been searching & waiting for years for DVD's of The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne, and Brimstone. Also the animated series of both Beetlejuice and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! Next to impossible, but I decided to throw it in here just in case...

Is there anything from the Possets' Hallowe'en update you're lusting after? PumPom. The Girls Love Ginger. Void Moon. Temptation - getting sucked into other retailers with all the cool links in the massive thread o' doom. Looked at Good Judy for just a minute, now I want all the American Gothic scents. Drat.

Would you like a custom/altered toy either from a seller or from your witch (like My Little Pony, or a Barbie or any particular toy that can be changed?) I've always thought the modded My Little Ponies were cool. That said, it also kind of looks like they cost more (fully justifiable, time & labor intensive) than I think it would be worth to me.

Do you like the candy apple, candy corn or pumpkin spice kisses? Haven't had them, but all 3 kinds sound delicious.

Anne Taintor, anyone? Looked up her stuff - very nice, funny. That said, I don't possess a burning desire to own any.

Which web comics do you enjoy? xkcd, Sluggy Freelance, used to read Dykes to Watch Out For until it went on hiatus. Lots of others but can't remember names now.

If I were to knit a scarf, would you prefer a skinny one, or a wide one? A short one, that when wrapped once around your neck will just tuck under your jacket, or a long one, at least to your waist? Long & skinny, don't have a Dr. Who style scarf yet.....

Don't like scarves? Would a rectangular shawl or triangular shawl be more to your taste? Triangular. Longer, & comfy. Dark colors.

How do you feel about recipes? Fun, but preferably not too complicated.

What kind of a cook/baker are you? I enjoy it, but tend to run out of patience after awhile.

Are you happiest calling for delivery or microwaving a lean cuisine, Or will Food Network be asking you to host their new program? Somewhere in between.

If I send you something home made would you like the recipe for it? Absolutely. I'll want to know how to make more deliciousness once it runs out :D

If you are someone who doesn't want baked goods sent, would you like a collection of some of my favorite recipes? Sure!

How about home made mixes or kits? Kind of like the cookie in a jar thing, where you would need to add the perishable ingredients? Also fun!

if you are a tea lover, what are your flavor preferences? Green? Black? Herbal (I know, technically those are NOT teas, but tisanes)? Flavored blacks/greens? Green tea combinations, black tea (but not so much Earl Grey), fruity herbals are ok. I prefer my drinks to have caffeine, but have been known to make exceptions when it's delicious enough. I do collect different kinds of honey, which I frequently use to sweeten tea. If you see a cool, or interesting, or unique(ish) local type of honey, I would love some...

How do you feel about silly, funny knick-knack, dollar store stuff, stickers, magnets etc? Would you like receiving that kind of stuff or rather not? That kind of stuff can be fun, especially perishables/stuff that gets used up. If it is intended to sit around, only if you think it is absolutely perfect for me, Witch.

Is there a specific book you've been wanting to get but haven't found the time or the opportunity to? Anathem, by Neil Stephenson. Haven't had time yet. But my copy is sitting here waiting...

Do you read mangas/watch animes? Which ones? Do you have a particular favourite? Would you like to receive mangas or anything related to them? Love anime. All-time favorite is Cowboy Bebop. The daughter loves Inuyasha best. Haven't read too many mangas, though. Turning the pages the wrong way just seems to bother me on some visceral level. But if you have some around to share, would be cool to see something new.

Are you open to receiving things that are not on your wishlist, maybe something your Witch thinks you might like? Absolutely!

If you have something on a wishlist that we could craft INSTEAD of buying, though it might not end up identical to the wishlist thing, would it be okay to craft it instead? Obviously we don't want to copy anyone else's design, but if we can replicate the flavour or intent that you like without stepping on toes? Yes. Definitely.

OK, I know that lots of folks love socks. Do you have a preference of length? Materials? Patterns? Socks can be fun, but honestly only if you see something so perfect it can't be passed up. Think Sally from NMBC or Witch Stripes or - you know - something that cries out.

How do people feel about word magnets? Love them! Used to have a Shakespearian Insults set, but it got lost in a move. Looked at a couple after I saw this list, put some on wishlists just for fun.

If you could have any costume, or if you aren't into costumes, necklaces or other accessories, from any movie character, what would it be? Morticia Addams. for Halloween.

How do you feel about samples/decants of things other than BPAL? Soap slices, lotion/scrub/shower gel decants, single use make-up/beauty products, etc. Yay!

What are you guys going to be aiming for in the Inquisition? Or do you just plan on ordering individual items? I'm probably going to order a tissue shirt of trick and candy corn covered candy apples. I'd love decants or sniffies of some of the individual scents, just can't afford all of them. And don't use bath oil enough to justify it.

Chocolate or other types of candy? Yum... Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, new and obscure combinations (but not bacon :ack:), gummy candy, sour candy, caramels, peanut butter, oatmeal - we're pretty open to candy around here :yum:

For tea drinkers, do you prefer loose leaf or tea bags? Prefer tea bags in general, but do have tea strainers & occasionally use loose leaf too. Would really love a glass teapot and flowering tea, but have never gotten around to getting one.

If you would enjoy something of a knitted persuasion, do you have a preference on type of thing? Since making a scarf for someone who has 10 might be a smidge excessive? Also, how do people feel about shawls? Shawls are fun, especially a big warm cozy one for when winter hits this year. My sister has made me several scarves, so I'm probably set there. Small knitted toys or a tea cosy would be fun.

Is there a TV, movie or literary character that you are a lot alike, or would like to be alike? Morticia Addams.

Is there anything you need for your kitchen, ie measuring cups, spoons, grater, etc? New measuring cups - they keep getting broken (oops)

Music, DO you prefer Live or Studio? Edited or explicit? Studio, generally. Prefer the music the way it was originally written & performed, not edited.

If you are an animal lover, is there a specific type/breed that you love most? Cats. Owls. Turtles. Bats. I used to have a massive phobia of dogs, but we found an 8 year old Dalmatian that needed a new home, and she convinced me that some dogs can be very nice. Jasmine is now part of our family.

Also flowers and plants- If you like flowers/plants, do you have a favorite(s)? hmm. Daffodils, irises, poinsettias, Venus Fly traps

Do you have a favorite quotation? Song lyric? Book passage? WhateverthehecktheycalltheanonymousregionalwisdomthingiePROVERB! that word. will have to ponder that one. 1st: Lewis Carroll - Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end; then stop.

What is a bpal scent that you've been dying to try for awhile but just can't find? (A scent where even a tester would do) Hamadryad - the original cinnamon one. Dungeon Crawl would be awesome too.

Let's say, hypothetically speaking, that you have some children/spawn (1 or more), and, hypothetically speaking, your witch would like to spoil them a little but knows nothing of kids these days. What do they like or dislike? Also is there anything a (sane) adult might think they would like that you don't think is appropriate for whatever reason? (I'm thinking of things like temp tattoos, make up, things that make noise, or anything else that might be bad for non-obvious reasons.)

Um, Devi has her own wishlist attached to the same Amazon account, for a general idea. Nothing obvious that I think is evil, offhand. Except Disney Princesses.

Is there anything you would like that can be delivered over the internet? Things like fanfic recs, cat macros, mp3s you are looking for, how-to or amusing videos, things like that - Yes, please! Internet time-wasting is one of my favorite things. Spike fanfic, lolcats, WoW videos, Cthulhu pamphlets - just about anything funny is awesome and appreciated. And have just started finding cool Amigurumi patterns (crochet creatures) on the web :cthulhu:

What would your last meal be if it could be anything in the world (sky is the limit, drinks too, the whole shebang) Will think a bit on this one too. Would have to say if it is going to be my last meal, would probably be incredibly rich and unhealthy, go out with a hedonistic bang! A several course dinner, including fruit, salad, soup, meat, dessert, all paired with the appropriate wine. Followed by dark rich coffee :yum:

NaNoWriMo? Never heard of it before. - Looked it up, not my thing. HATED writing papers in high school & college.

9/13/10

what interests you from the latest lab update? Ooh, lots. I've updated my wishlist with a bunch of the BPTP stuff. Have ordered my Weenies, may order more...

How do you feel about stationery, like nice pens or notepaper? And if you're in favor, do you prefer classic/contemporary or cutesy stuff? Elegant stationery, adorable is ok as long as it doesn't cross the line into cutesy. Pens are fun - biggest criteria is writes smoothly without skipping on the paper and comfortable to hold. I really want to get a sealing wax setup, but haven't yet.

Would you like homemade preserves (e.g. marinated veggies, pickled onions, chilli jam?) Fruit jam or preserves, yes. Pickled onions - NO.

If you've got stuff on your BPAL wishlist, would partial bottles be okay? Yes, YES, many times yes! Anything sniffable and maybe even testable is awesome!

Would you like something you have to make yourself? Is it really easy? As in, a craft kit an 8 year old could master? Or cross stitch? Sure!

Do you crave many Ecards and contact or are you okay with little contact from your Witch? As much contact as you can handle, Wonderful Witch :D

Do you have a place where you list all the BPAL you have or have tried? ScentBase

Do you like maple sugar candy? Blech, maple is not a friend of mine.

What is your position on the chocolate & bacon flavor combination? Against it.

If you are a tea-drinker do you need a tea-cozie for your pot? This sounds fun. I looked on Etsy & put a couple on there as a general hint towards my tastes.

Go to your spice cabinet, what are the three most used spices? Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper, garlic salt, paprika, cinnamon...

Microsoft or Apple? Microsoft. Apple only for iPods.

Where was your last vacation? What did you like most? Camping with the family. Enjoy nature, listening to running water - can only go about a day before I WANT A SHOWER.

Would you appreciate receiving handwritten letters and/or postcards (anonymous or not)? How about sending them? Postcards are fun. I love the pictures.

Do you hate any food things with a passion?? Onions! Can only tolerate them in cooked food if they are diced so fine I can't see them, preferably dried. Nothing worse than the pungent stench of a freshly killed onion.

Would you be opposed to receiving a digital version (via email) of a magazine you like but don't subscribe to...you know, in the interest of saving a tree? I love digital magazines. Not only does it save a tree, but also bookshelf space.
