If you hadn't guessed, that's the Doctor Who theme tune! I'm so excited because the new series has returned and is starting tomorrow! I love the new Dr Who, and I really want to track down some of the older episodes now.

 

Dr Who fans may want to check this silly link out for a laugh!

 

From time travelling doctors to real ones now...I think those sleeping pills my doctor prescribed me are really working. I needed something to reset my sleeping patterns into something a bit more normal (I go to sleep at 2am and get up at 11am-something induced by the drunk and stoned flatmates from hell at campus) but now thanks to those pills, I'm going to be early, and getting up early and feeling bright and awake (which is pretty incredible since I'm not usually a morning person at all!).

 

I think that little ritual with TAL Determination helped a great deal with me getting my coursework done-it's not finished yet, but it just gave me the impetus to get going and do some good solid work without distraction. I love getting those challenging questions done...they are daunting at first but when I get them done, I feel good!

 

I'm also excited because my Peony Moon order is winging it's way to me! I hope it gets to me before I go back to uni!

Wow - you get the real stuff! No having-your-brother-burn-copies-of-internet-who for you lucky Brits! I'm envious, and happy for you that someone is enjoying new Doctor Who. B)

 

I've seen about half the Christopher Eccleston season, and will be able to see the rest once I get some quality time with a good DVD player, and so far B) .

Yup yup. I've been recording CE Doctor eps off of the SciFi channel and he is most definitely teh B).

Oh, I love love love Dr. Who! Some of my fondest memories are when my dad and I would watch Dr. Who on PBS together every evening... 7:30 pm. I adored the Tom Baker episodes!! My mom never understood. LOL We get CBC, a Canadian channel, on our cable, and they showed the episodes that are being shown now on Sci Fi last year. I think my husband was nearly orgasmic when he was channel surfing and happened to turn it on right at the start of the episode and heard that theme music!

 

I B) Christopher Ecclestone. My husband... doesn't get it. But there's just something sexy about him... I'd jump in the tardis and take off with him for sure!

 

But, I have to be a downer... don't get too attached.. after this season, they already replace him. B)

Chris was an awesome Doctor, I agree! But I'm also aware that they replaced him with David Tennant, since I saw the special Christmas episode with him in it. I think he's going to be good as well, but I'll have to wait and see!

I spoiled myself and went to an updated Doctor site and saw that CE is not the most recent Doctor. B) I think the buzz is good for Tennant, though. Ah well, us that are in the states can lag behind and wallow in CE numminess in the meantime.
