Weenies wishlist? Will update once the full announcement is out, but as far as the teasers go, The Hag and Hiss & Hearse sound gorgeous. How do you feel about the pastel Halloween offerings that are out? I lean more towards nature-inspired decor, but if it's on something like a notepad or t-shirt it'd be cute (especially if purple or mint) Will you be away for part of the round? I will be away the week after it ends (11/9-11/15), but my partner will be home, so late packages will be safe but my squee'ing will be delayed. Fiberart - What might you like? Long striped armwarmers? A pair of slippers, decadently lined in cashmere? Lined slippers sound oh so lovely! No, but I do have some wall hooks I sometimes hang ornaments from, so a flat ornament could make a seasonal home there. Would you like [a hair fall] (for a pony tail effect) or two (for a pigtail effect)? I've never worn one, so I'm not sure if it'd work with short hair? If it would, then a mermaid-themed one would be really cool - sea green mixed with colors to blend into my mix of salt and (mostly) pepper. Do you have use for witchy supplies? Herbs, oils, crystals, etc. If so, what types and for what purpose(s)? I'm well stocked on herbs and oils (though the new Golden Honeycomb TAL has caught my eye), but incense, chime candles, and crystals are very welcome. Anything for energy, focus, or creative expression/writing would be :chef's kiss: Would you be interested in custom artwork, such as a painting? If so, what mood, theme, colors, style, etc. would you be excited to see? If there's a dream, a dnd character, a favorite fairy tale, deity, etc. you'd love it to capture, spill those deets - including anything you wouldn't want (nudity, size restrictions, whatnot). Yes - as long as it's not too heavy (I'm in a rental and use command strips instead of nails). I tend to like art that's either very stylized (like art nouveau) or abstract and/or textured (check out my pinterest for examples). As for colors, I like all shades of green and blue-green, but also punchy peaches and deep dark purples, as well metallics and weathered papers. Mixed media is welcome. For the theme, anything inspired by Tarot, fairy tales, fae, goddesses, or the ocean would be cool, as I lean towards the dreamy and fantastical. I'm in Japan, anything specific you would want from here? I love those guava candies and anything matcha. Aesthetically, I'm always drawn to prints with sakura blossoms over a blue background. There's probably lots of Japanese makeup and skincare I would love - I have pale, cool, olive-leaning skin, so a lot of asian makeup palettes work well for me. Same with hair products/accessories. Incense would be very welcome! I use the Morning Star brand all the time and would enjoy trying others as well. I just got back from Mongolia and brought a bunch of small souvenirs, how do you feel about small things from random countries? That sounds fun! I trust your judgement as far as specific types of souvenirs go, but I can usually find a spot for random doodads and whatnots, especially if I can find a tie-in for feng shui purposes. I'd probably hang it in my office, so any combination of blush pink, rusty/brown-pink, soft greens, white/cream, beachy-type colors. anything specifically Australian you might like? I'm not really familiar with Australia-specific goods other than vegemite, but after some googling, I'd say Pineapple Lumps, Cheezels, or any sort of eucalyptus or manuka honey products. local tea blender just down the street from me if there is anything from there you might like to try The "Goodhealth Digestive" and "Rooibos and Roses" herbal teas both look good. whats your coffee desire, and beans or grind size? also include your favorite old 70's-80's cartoons or fandoms. I use an aeropress, which recommends a "medium-fine" grind (I often use medium and the results are perfectly adequate though). Re: cartoons/fandoms, you probably mean TV shows, but I gotta mention that I'm a Fieval stan, so if that's an option it's #1 on the list. Also a fan of Monty Python, Alf, Doctor Who, Fraggle Rock, and the Muppets.
Note: Please no Peanuts/Snoopy - my ex collected Snoopy stuff so I have an unfortunate association now. [knit] socks, a hat, a cowl, arm warmers, or a shawlette for your neck and shoulders could definitely be doable if that would be enjoyed. Typically 18-20/2XL/3XL, depending on the brand. I usually check the size chart to see which size falls closest to a 44-inch waist measurement. And if it's unisex or reviews say it runs small, I'll size one up from that to make sure there's room for the curvy bits. Do you like Halloween socks? Any particular style or image/character? Only if they're those big, fuzzy sleep sock types (in which case anything goes). Generally with socks I'm looking for function and comfort. As long as things are packed securely it doesn't matter, though with that in mind, I'd lean towards (at least some) things being wrapped. I've had swap items arrive broken before, so the tighter/more padded the packing the better!
