wickedgoddess Report post Posted October 22, 2010 Long Beach Comic Con will be held October 29-31, 2010, at the Long Beach Convention Center, and our friends at The Hero Initiative will be debuting our newest scent: Heroine! Heroine Nepalese amber, East African patchouli, dark musk, apple blossom, petitgrain, aged leather, skin musk, and rhubarb. Heroine is the first scent created specifically for The Hero Initiative, and the label art is by the fabulous Adam Hughes! Proceeds from every bottle sold go to The Hero Initiative, the first federally recognized, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping comic book creators, writers, and artists in need. Founded in late 2000 by a consortium of comic book and trade publishers, including Marvel Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Wizard Entertainment, CrossGen Comics, and Dynamic Forces, Inc., the 501©3 charity aims to assist comic creators with health, medical, and quality-of-life assistance. The Hero Initiative will be selling Heroine, as well as the Dawn, Witchblade, Sachs and Violens, and Unknown scents at Long Beach Comic Con, booth #300. Wicked Goddess will be volunteering at their booth on Saturday and Sunday, to help you with your BPAL needs.
