    Schlafende Baigneuse

In the bottle: lovely, deceptively simple, soft and nice On me: A hint of French milled soap residue, with a little floral note and a long cool clean feeling. Understated, elegant, if a bit undressed. My boyfriend says: "Is that the new soap you bought? It's nice."

    Chaos Theory III: Strange Attractors

My bottle is CCCLX (360) The woman who sold it to me said it was light and herbal for her. To me, in the bottle: Pale and herbal, green, with a chasing hint of heady floral On me: a ylang-ylang jasmine cocktail. My skin amps up the aphrodesiac florals, to overwhelm everything else. This one reminds me of a massage oil I thought was wonderful when I was a teenager, but it's just too heady and cloying for me now. Keep in mind that I have extremely unusual chemistry, so if you get this bottle in a trade, it probably won't smell anything like this on you. ETA: bottle #

    Taurus

In the bottle: Oakmoss over forward motion. Inertia and a hint of floral. On me: PLUMERIA!!!!!!!! Yes, really with that many exclamation points. We're talking incredibly exclamatory cloying-dripping-nectar plumeria. Or possibly freesia. Something I love in the garden, but gives me a headache to wear. After a few hours, it stopped screaming so loudly and levelled off into a deep and soft floral.

    TKO

In the bottle: sweet and cool, comforting and gentle, a lavendar pillow to fall into, with a hint of something higher and sharper calling your name and something deeper and darker behind them twining around you and drawing you down. Just one sniff isn't enough to knock you out, but it soothes and softens. On my sleep mask: I slept easier and deeper than I've slept in years. Even after a month of insomnia, I woke up the next morning with the very first music of the alarm, and danced into my clothes. On me: The lavendar and that deeper element I can't name come to the fore, and before I have it analyzed, I'm out.

    Dirty

In the bottle: fresh, clean, invigorating, with a sweet floral overtone Wet on me, or dry when it exploded in my gym bag: the heady florals come to the fore, but not overwhelmingly so On me (fully dry): subtle and understated, just a hint of smoky musky softness. My gentleman called it "dusky and seductive." I have *very* different skin chemistry.
