On me, this is sweet dark chocolate and tobacco, very dark, very velvety. This was not a scent that changed very much on me, though the candy and incense did make a brief appearance. This oil is almost a mood oil, mysterious and comforting at the same time. I'm glad I got to sample it.

There is nothing wicked about this scent. In fact, on first sniff, all I smelled was soap! On my skin, this turned into a mixture of baby powder and soft aquatic notes, with maybe some light greenery winding through all the pale wetness. It's not a very "me" scent, and not a strong one at all. I liked it, but not enough to wear it very often.

This is much, much heavier than I expected it to be. The cedar jumps out immediately, and is almost overwhelming. A few incensy/musky notes come out after some time. This smells like wooden cabinets or an old cabin with late afternoon sunlight lazily seeping in through a dusty window. I don't think it's a scent I'll wear on my skin, but it might work well as a room scent.

On first sniff, I was overwhelmed by the tang of the dragon's blood. It was nearly acrid, but not the metallic tang I associate with actual blood. On, the amber mellows the scent quite a bit, making it actually very sweet. This will not be a day-to-day scent for me, but it is certainly very interesting, and one that I will have to wear a few more times to get a better feel for it.

I sniffed this an immediately thought, "A haunted orange??" On me, it was just as citrussy, and that was a predominant note for almost a good half-hour. After awhile, the musks and smooth started kicking in and mellowed it out a bit. This is not the scent I expected, but it is rather nice, especially after a little wear. It actually lightened my mood, which is odd for a Funereal Oil.

If "harvested" means that they deduct the money from your account, it could be 2-3 weeks. The money is always immediately deducted from my account, but since they rarely actually claim the money in the allotted 5 days, it is put back on until it's claimed by the lab, which is about 3 weeks later. I'm still waiting for the deduction of funds from my Oct. 27th order, and I suspect I have a few more weeks to go.

I smell just like a fresh cinnamon stick! It's awesome! Only after awhile do I catch even the faintest whiff of greenery, but to me, this smells very much like a holiday scent, so warm and comforting. Yum!

Mmm. I like this one a lot. In the bottle, I smell the candied apples, but on, they vanish completely. I get "woodsy" smells and earthiness, very brisk, like an Autumnal wind. After about a half hour, I smell the mulled spices, but still no foodiness. And after a few hours, my chemistry turns it into a faintly spiced vanilla. Definitely a shape shifter! I got numerous compliments yesterday, one of which was "Who smells like the forest in here?" and another was "You smell just like fall!"

I'd think Fae & Titania.

Bpal relations: Sin is like Snake Oil's older, leather-wearing sister. Titania is Blue Moon with a fruit note instead of an aquatic one.

Hey! I joined the BPAL harem too late to buy a bottle of Mabon, but Belladonnastrap was lovely enough to send a little imp my way of it. It's so lovely-- I love the blackberry and ivy notes. After I have a decent payday on Nov. 10th, I want to buy a 5ml of the next best thing, since I haven't seen many bottles of Mabon up for sale-- are there any scents that remind you of BPAL's Mabon?

Actually, I had a similar problem. I made a $71.50 purchase on 10/8. The next morning, my bank had deducted the money. However, since no one "claimed" the money within 5 days, it was refunded to my card. My CCnow status is "shipped," but the money has not been re-deducted. I'm searching for Nella's email now to see when I can expect the money to be re-deducted so I can keep my own records straight.

In the bottle-- bubblegum? So odd! But on, it was a very light, refreshing rose scent slightly sweetened by fruit. Very fresh-- floral without being cloying. I liked it a lot and may want more once my imp is used up.

At first, this was very generic perfumey, very floral. I eventually was able to pick out some of the jasmine and bergamot, but many of the scents mixed together. Nice, but not my favorite.

On me, this was a very thorny, greenish-herby floral. I definitely picked out lily, but sadly, not enough of the cherry came through to make it much more complex. Very feminine, though. A nice girlie scent for more "perfumey" occasions.

Clean, clear, crisp, and almost tangy. This is watery but faintly spicy-- my stress automatically evaporated the moment this touched my nose. I definitely smell the bay, aloe, and moonflower, and I honestly wish that this would come back to be part of the regular collection. It's not something I could see myself wearing out a lot, but this would be amazing for ritiual and stress-busting nights.

This is a very complex scent. Wet, I sense very purple fruits, a very deep color that is almost burgundy in my mind. It's kind of over-ripe berry in a way that is sweet, but not cloying (blackberries?). Then, the sage and the ivy really pokes through, winding the burgundy with deep forest green. This is a very earthy scent, calming. And of course, I want more!

Mmm. An awsome warm, foody scent. When I opened up the sample vial, all I could smell was melted butter! On, it warms up with autumn spices and some light pumpkin-- smells that made me want a big chunk of cornbread and other grain-y foods. In the drydown, a very yellow floral came through. I'm in love with this scent and hopefully I'll be able to swap for another imp of it.

Cherries and candied fruit sweetness. My nose was plastered to my wrist! This is so lovely, I wish I'd had the chance to get a bottle. There is some spice as the scent warms up, and then some very light floral, an autumnal bouquet. I loved this one and will cherish my sample.

This scent is so complex that I couldn't pick out the individual nots. It's so enigmatic, kind of floral, but spicy. It's a mystery. I like it, not as much as the other LE's, but I have the feeling that this is an oil that needs to be appreciated in its own time. I'll try it again some other time.

In the bottle, all I smelled was the vanilla, but when I swiped it on my arm, it immediately turned to baby powder! Luckily for me, the drydown went much better. It warmed up and I could smell the vanilla once again, but this time, it was spicy underneath, like sandalwood. It had notes of amber for me, too. It wasn't quite what I expected, but it is a lovely, calming scent nonetheless. On second try-- whoa! So, so sexy without being a headachy-floral. I have only two words: bigger bottle.

A nocturnal bounty of fae dew-kissed petals and pale fruits: white grape, white peach, iced pear, musk rose, sweet pea, moonflower and snapdragon. Lovely. I love this scent. It's sweet and slightly floral without being overly headache-y. I smell the pear and the grape most strongly. It is cool and refreshing. The floral is very light, almost like white flowers, so I am picturing the moonflower. This is a beautiful, beautiful scent, and going on my "bigger bottle" list.

In the bottle, I smell juicy peach. On me, I definitely smell the sweetness of the heliotrope and the white musk, but after a while, it smells like baby powder with a hint of sweet flowers and fruit. A nice clean scent-- I can see wearing this on a drizzly Sunday morning, fresh out of the shower.

In the bottle, I definitely smell the sandalwood and black patchouli. On, the sandalwood fades, and it smells of bitterness with the faintest twinge of underlying sweetness. It's very strong-- you do not need to put much on at all. I would call this smells like a sordid back alley. I catch whiffs of smoke and just a hint of anise in the mix. There's definitely a resin note that warms it a bit (and the skin), and my skin brought out the powder and cinnamon in the drydown. It's great if you want to feel mysterious-- I'll save this for little black dresses, high heels, a slinky walk, and lots of eyeliner. ETA: The oddest thing happened about 3 hours after I applied Sin. All that was left was a sweet vanilla aroma. So odd.

In the bottle: sweetness. I can't put my finger on it-- it's not a fruity sweetness, but it does smell juicy. Maybe it's the dragon's blood? It's tempered by a green smell-- it's a very layered scent. On-- it smells exactly how I'd imagine a feasting hall would smell! It's a juicy scent, tempered by green (hawthorn? bayberry?) and a very subtle musk with a veil of cinnamon. It makes me want to eat! I can pull out the wine notes with just a hint of resin. This one will be saved for the Winter-- it will warm me up and brighten my mood. If this scent were a color, it'd be a mulberry-hued purplish red.
