I’m getting mostly the sugared lemon and vanilla cream on my skin, though it’s definitely not something I’d describe as gourmand. Bonus points for having a soft lemon that doesn’t seem to go cleaning product! It’s very much a soft skin scent, but I think if you enjoyed The White Cat, you’d probably enjoy this as well, as a less-sweet cousin.

As there aren’t any reviews yet, I’ll share mine Right out of the mail: I got this one because most of these notes are favorites of mine, and I liked the bottle goblin sniff enough to want to skin test right of the mail (and still plan to revisit this after it has rested for a few days). In the bottle, it’s weirdly kinda fruity, and there’s definitely some sediment (likely the cacao). The cacao comes out a bit more on the skin, though it does still have that almost-fruity note that becomes a bit boozier or… floral? I wanted to say kind of rummy, but now it’s also kind of toeing the line into non-powdery white floral. This is weird lol, and I’ll definitely have to come back to it. I still like it though; this may warrant a larger decant. After resting for ~4 days: So, SO lovely. Deep, woody, and nutty without any actual nut when it first goes on. Definitely perfume-y, but in a way I can’t really elaborate on; it’s not quite floral but it does border on that same slightly sweaty-sweet facet that some florals CAN have. SUPER strange because I could SWEAR there are white florals in there, but I really don’t hate them in this blend. I’ll definitely need to grab a bigger decant, perhaps a partial, but I’ll need to test this on its own again. Final consensus: I can sometimes amp one of the Lab’s specific cedar notes (notably the one in The Small Brown Cat and Gooped Familiar), and I think that is the one here as well. Unfortunately, once it gets deep into the drydown, it gets very cedar-dominated, so I’ll not be pursuing a larger size.
