  1. Although I am not into the foody scents, I LOVE the March Hare. I had no idea of the notes when I tried it and could have sworn that it had peach in it. However, I think that was apricot (close enough). It is divine. The apricot is sweet and juicy. The spice of the clove is just enough to temper the sweetness. I would love for my house to smell like this.

  2. Oh yes indeed. This scent starts out as violets-- reminds me of the Violets candy that I thought tasted like soap. When it dries, it gets very spicy- the clove takes over. It is a lovely warm scent.

  3. In the imp, this is a deep incense- it smells GORGEOUS.

Wet, I can smell cinnamon but the incense is still strong.

Dry, this is pure heaven. The incense mellows into a sultry and sexy scent. The cinnamon is still present but it is WAAAAY in the background.

    I love this.

  4. Modillian hits this one on the head. It's a complicated scent, starting out very sweet and then delivering a shot of liquor that nearly knocks me out. It smooths out on drydown but is still a bit sinister. I am picking up the floral bouquet, particularly the orange blossom and gardenia, but they are in a wooden vase filled with booze. Magnificent.

  5. The first time I tried Bess, I thought it was just a rose scent. Wrong wrong wrong. It is so much more complex!

In the imp: I smell herbs, sharp and pungeant.

Wet: Orange peel and grape-- there's a bit of mint as an afterthought.

Dry: The rose comes out as the other notes fade. However, they do not allow the rose to run rampant. They encourage her with their scents.

    :P

  6. I am a fan of violet so this one is right up my alley. There's a bit of something breezy and fresh (could it be mint? I don't know- if that's what it is, it's very shy) in the background but it keeps peeking around the corner enough to be noticed.

Definitely a summer blend. Pretty, fresh and all sparkly.

  7. Strong black tea and milk with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla, spilled over the crisp scent of clean linen.

In the imp: Sweet ginger tea

Wet: I'm picking up a bit of vanilla with the spicy sweetness of the ginger

Dry: WOW. This is beautiful!! It's a sweet ginger, shot through with vanilla and honey. There's a hint of pepper in the background

    Definitely bottle worthy

  8. in the imp and wet: Honey and almonds with spices so strong I got slightly queasy.

Dry: Whew! That's over with, thankfully. The drydown is pretty much almonds. The honey is still there but not so sweet anymore. There's a powdery plastic there as well.

    Nix.

  9. In the imp and wet: Citrus- I am smelling grapefruit and lemon.

Dry: The sharpness of the citrus backs down and it's much softer. I detect tea and something else that is giving this a bit of an herbal quality.

    Not bad.
