    Strangler Fig

This is way too sweet for me. It reminds me of figs drenched in honey, topped with brown sugar. I get nothing green or woody at all.

    Queen Mab

This is lovely. 12 hours later, I can still smell the scent of soft florals sprinkled with musky incense.

    Venice

I hoped I would like this. Unfortunately it DOES smell like Lemon Pledge.

    March Hare

Although I am not into the foody scents, I LOVE the March Hare. I had no idea of the notes when I tried it and could have sworn that it had peach in it. However, I think that was apricot (close enough). It is divine. The apricot is sweet and juicy. The spice of the clove is just enough to temper the sweetness. I would love for my house to smell like this.

    Sybaris

Oh yes indeed. This scent starts out as violets-- reminds me of the Violets candy that I thought tasted like soap. When it dries, it gets very spicy- the clove takes over. It is a lovely warm scent.

    Tanin'iver

In the imp, this is a deep incense- it smells GORGEOUS. Wet, I can smell cinnamon but the incense is still strong. Dry, this is pure heaven. The incense mellows into a sultry and sexy scent. The cinnamon is still present but it is WAAAAY in the background. I love this.

    Thaleia

So beautiful! The scent is popping with gardenia, apricot and honey. I don't pick up any citrus. I love gardenia and it is prominent.

    Ra

This is very herb/woody in the bottle but it dries to a spicy wood. I am not picking up any citrus at all. The wood is grounding and the spice is warm and inviting.

    Tavern of Hell

Modillian hits this one on the head. It's a complicated scent, starting out very sweet and then delivering a shot of liquor that nearly knocks me out. It smooths out on drydown but is still a bit sinister. I am picking up the floral bouquet, particularly the orange blossom and gardenia, but they are in a wooden vase filled with booze. Magnificent.

    Szepasszony

This scent is very clean and fresh. It reminds me of a meadow after a spring thundershower. Very nice.

    Sed Non Satiata

Wow... this is lovely. The myrrh, musk and honey mix beautifully. It's husky voiced and sexy. It is spicy on initial application and it morphs to a stunning warm and purring sort of scent. LOVE.

    The Pool of Tears

In the imp: Salty aquatic with a hint of floral Wet: a bouquet of flowers in salt water Dry: soapy floral, still with a hint of saltiness I agree with whoever said this would be perfect for a child- it is a sweet, innocent fragrance.

    Bess

The first time I tried Bess, I thought it was just a rose scent. Wrong wrong wrong. It is so much more complex! In the imp: I smell herbs, sharp and pungeant. Wet: Orange peel and grape-- there's a bit of mint as an afterthought. Dry: The rose comes out as the other notes fade. However, they do not allow the rose to run rampant. They encourage her with their scents.

    A Countenance Forboding Evil

In the imp: smells like fingernail polish remover- I smell acetone. Wet: Patchouli primarily. Dry: Dreaded Hamster Cage odor. Bleccch.

    Faeu Boulanger

I am a fan of violet so this one is right up my alley. There's a bit of something breezy and fresh (could it be mint? I don't know- if that's what it is, it's very shy) in the background but it keeps peeking around the corner enough to be noticed. Definitely a summer blend. Pretty, fresh and all sparkly.

    Siren

Siren started out very jasmine-ginger. When it dried, the vanilla came out and pretty much stomped everything else. I smell like vanilla. Generic vanilla. Pleasant but non-descript.

    Nocturne

This is one huge lilac and violet bouquet. It goes on strong and has incredible staying power. I do like it but don't see myself reaching for it very often. It is THAT strong.

    House of Night

Violets. The candy. That's what I get from this. Nothing more.

    Eos

In the imp and wet: Jasmine and honeysuckle- very sweet white floral scent Dry: This is a perfect springtime fragrance. Several reviewers have mentioned Easter. That would definitely be the time to wear Eos.

    Velvet

Pretty pretty pretty. This is dusted cocoa vanilla goodness. There's a little bit of sandalwood in the background that balances the foodiness. And 8 hours later it is still strong and just as pretty.

    Serpent's Kiss

In the imp and wet: I find this super-sweet with a spicy peppery edge. Dry: The cloying sweetness has backed off and I detect vetivert, cinnamon and something very herbal. This is nice but not something I would wear often.

    White Rabbit

Strong black tea and milk with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla, spilled over the crisp scent of clean linen. In the imp: Sweet ginger tea Wet: I'm picking up a bit of vanilla with the spicy sweetness of the ginger Dry: WOW. This is beautiful!! It's a sweet ginger, shot through with vanilla and honey. There's a hint of pepper in the background Definitely bottle worthy

    Cytherea

Oh, my. The combination of sandalwood, amber and vanilla is exquisite. This fragrance is sultry and wispy. This may have to go in the top ten.

    Dian's Bud

In the imp and wet: I get fresh green something.... and melon. However, it quickly turns to soap. Dry: Soap. Generic soap.

    Queen of Sheba

in the imp and wet: Honey and almonds with spices so strong I got slightly queasy. Dry: Whew! That's over with, thankfully. The drydown is pretty much almonds. The honey is still there but not so sweet anymore. There's a powdery plastic there as well. Nix.
