This is simultaneously the platonic form of a summer grapefruit cocktail by-the-sea, and a bubbling Renaissance lobster song There's the bpal effervescent note in full swing in this scent, as well as lots of citrus, fruit and aquatic notes. Normally full blown aquatics (when the scent is IN the water) don't work for me, but this one (The lobster has climbed out of the ocean to sing, and is thus a little dry) works much better and doesn't get soap-like

These raspberries have been crushed at the bottom of the picnic basket but are still stunningly sweet and delicious; they definitely won't make it home but will get all over your hands Like Les Fraises this has a ton of throw, and a quintessentially fruit scented without other notes

This is fresh, wet strawberry scent, as if they've just been rinsed off in their little turquoise cardboard pint box. Not actually aquatic but very fresh and unbruised A lot of throw

Beautifully fruit centric and captures midsummer heat; a crow asleep in the hay after gorging themselves on figs and currants. I get fruits and mild hay like grassiness It's not nearly so sweet as mouse or harvest moon (my other hat forward pints of comparison)

When it first goes on it has an almost vinegar scent that quickly dries down into a lovely fig and mulled wine sensibility The lavender and pomegranate give a nice depth In my quest for a Witch's Repast analogue I've been compare and contrasting this with Mari Lwyd and Hildegard's Cakes - this scent has the wine note I really like that I'll perhaps try to layer with some of the others

This is undeniably the scent of Hatman celebrating Christmas, replete with a beautiful red woolen Santa Claus hat and lots of pine garlands Seriously, it's Hatman in a Christmas hat

This is not nearly as scary a scent as I was led to believe... After the initial red Oudh jump scare, Hatman (on me) seems to quickly settle into a very delightful autumnal murky musky darkened floral or maybe a dark autumnal lightened by the poppy - I tend to amplify sweet notes so other's mileage may vary Hatman is quite androgynous (I was expecting something a little more masc, but I think they're quite outside of gender altogether) Regardless Hatman is a surprisingly friendly and complex scent, that I am very pleased to have gotten

I am totally and completely obsessed with this scent. My partner was gifted a number of oils, of which this was one, and when I smelled it I sort of lost my mind. It is a scent that I find myself returning to sniff in the bottle multiple times a day, and the experience is best to described as scratching and itch I didn't know I had until I smelled it. The honey! The wine! The kvass! The bread and meat!! Everything is perfect and also becomes something greater than the parts - just splendid...

I really love this scent. I was worried it would be too sweet as I often amplify sweet and fruit notes, but I was very pleasantly surprised how balanced it is. The mix of citrus and darker tones feels like a voluptuous and gothic vacation to the Amalfi coast. In sense (but not in specific scent) it reminds me of Endymion and Oberon After the initial burst of berry and citrus it settles into a slightly spicy dark floral that on me feels masculine in a Dionysus way
