    Papaya, Passionfruit and Candyfloss

I get a lot of bright, sweet passionfruit that isn’t very tart- reminds me of the kids watermelon shampoo I used to use. Maybe it wasn't watermelon (but it was the first thing I thought of), but it's very reminiscent to a playful, fun scent from my childhood. To be honest, I don’t really know what papaya smells like, but I definitely notice the candyfloss adding a very sweet, airy sugar note. Surprisingly not cloying and it wore well in the summer heat. It’s nice, but not really my vibe- objectively a very good scent though. EDIT: Oh, it definitely reminds me of Welch's passionfruit juice. My mom used to (and still does) drink it religiously. I think that's where I get the nostalgic feeling from!

    Neapolitan Goth

Definitely initially smell like neapolitan ice cream… the strawberry is very artificial and candy like, while the chocolate is pretty muted and the vanilla serving as the base. The labdanum is adding to the very sweet, candy-like (or resinous?) nature of the scent. The smoke is indeed, just a whisper, and i don’t really get it unless I’m sniffing up close. The clove does emerge later during wear though, and it's again, sticky sweet. A lovely note though- it plays well with the strawberry and doesn't overpower everything! However, it's too artificial and candy like to me, so I won't be upsizing.
