  1. Unfortunately, this scent did not work on me at all :P

When I first put it on, it smelt very strongly like pine-o-tar, which wasn't too appealing to me at all. After an hour or so the pine smell had faded, and the scent left on me was very minty, which remained for most of the day. It wasn't unpleasant, but it just didn't suit me at all, and I'm not very partial to really strong minty scents, so sadly, I have to say that this is the first Bpal scent that completely didn't work on me :D

  2. I loved this one - I found it to be very sweet, almost honeyish, even though there is no mention of honey in it. It didn't smell too floral on me, and it lasted for several hours (my partner could smell it on me after a full day of work). I absolutely loved it - I just ordered a full bottle of it in my last order :P

  3. My first thoughts when I tried this on was "amazingly delicate", and that's how I think of it all the time now.

I absolutely LOVED this one -- one of my very favourites for sure. It is subtle but it lasted for hours, and is very, very pretty. Flowery, but definitely not overpowering, and can be worn at any time (in any sort of weather). I found it very ethereal and delicate.

  4. Whew, we've finally almost finished the database, after a break of, hm, months :D It was finished enough to upload it, at least.

There are still a few details to fix, like the section list showing in all pages but linking only to the owned page, and some other stuff. Oh and I think it still looks weird in IE (all damn IE). It is completely dynamic (absolute overkill!) and the code is a complete nightmare for me to look at, haha! My geek boyfriend coded it. I figured, since you are not a handy person at all and cannot make a perfume cabinet for me, you are gonna have to do something else :D I did the graphics, html templates and the css. Since inserting all of the data directly in the database is insane and gave me headaches, he also made a set of backsites with drop-down menus and text fields from where I can enter all of the data, except a new section. Screenshot of that, it is password protected so you cannot see it online. I also have my "reviews", more appropiately called notes, there in the backsite. I don't really want to make those public, they are terribly messy.

Now it is mostly up to date. Entering everything was some work, too.

    :P

    WOW. That is amazing!!!

  5. Slightly stronger and a little bit spicer/heavier than the scents I have tried so far, but it really suits my mood for the day -- racing around, doing a hundred things at once. I probably wouldn't wear it to work or on a day when I am just sitting in the one place for ages (eg when I'm studying), but it is perfect for a hectic day, in my opinion. The slightly heavy/musky undertones make me think of ginger or pepper in a hot milky tea.

  6. A huge bouquet of squished rose petals: Bulgarian rose, Somalian rose, Turkish rose, Damascus rose, red and white rose, tea rose, wine rose, shrub roses, rose, rose, rose...

...and just an itty bitty bit of green grass.

I found this to be very sweet & almost sugary when I first put it on; it definitely had a sweet fruity scent about it on me. I liked it a lot, but it probably wasn't so great in the car, as it was kind of strong in the enclosed space. After a few hours it had calmed down though, and I liked it a lot more after awhile than I did at first -- it was more wearable, I felt. Nonetheless, that didn't stop me from smelling my wrist all day, to see how it was, and 10 hours later, I can still smell a trace of it on my skin.

Yummy, but I probably won't buy a big bottle of it - I can imagine the sweetness getting to me after all as it was just a little bit too sugary.

  7. Slightly musky, with a subtle floral undertone. I have been wearing it for about 30 minutes now, and I can't stop smelling my wrist (and my fingers, as the lid on the imp broke and I got a bit more on me than I would normally wear) - I really like this. I think it will be perfect for every day wear for me, as it's not too overbearing, but really pretty and sophisticated.

Am definitely considering buying a bottle of this one!
