I would love to have a nice, sweet blend of vanilla and rose. I'm eyeing Stardust's Victoria (Graceful vanilla musk, tea rose, and stargazer lily) and Excolo's Euphrosyne (Gardenia, tea rose, vanilla and jasmine). Hope of Carnival Diabolique sounds good to me too, but I'm a little afraid of violet, and I'm way too new to this to hit the swaps yet, so the Hope/Faith set would be out of the question for me.If I can't find a vanilla rose scent I guess I can always try layering, I'd just really like to find one!
Euphrosyne smelled just like flowers and honey on me. I do amp anything sweet so ymmv. I recall smelling the gardenia and jasmine in it but no or not much tea rose to make note of it.
I recently got frimped Lucy's Kiss. That turned out to be a very soft rose on me. I think I prefer the bolder red rose. It was just a bit too dainty for me. I can't wait to try out the Mirror Mirror pack I ordered. It should arrive any day now.

Initial Impression: sweet vanilla and lavender
On Wet: marshmallows and lavender
On Dry: more vanilla-y/marshmallow-y, lavender
Final Impression: I really love this stuff. It works! It knocks my extremely restless child out within a half hour each and every night (smells a bit more sharp lavender on her, less vanilla/marshmallow). She's addicted. I find it very relaxing and soothing.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 5! I'll have to make sure to always have some of this on hand.

Initial Impression: sharp lavender
On Wet: sharp lavender and anise
On Dry: turns candy-like as the anise sweetens and takes over, smells a bit like honey too, the lavender softens and blends nicely
Final Impression: Yummy! Made me nice and drowsy after I was very wound up and wired. I had very unusual dreams (just like Nanshe).
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 4.5

Initial Impression: light, clean-smelling. White floral and musk.
On Wet: musk, jasmine, iris, very airy
On Dry: very airy. A light, blended floral.
Final Impression: Very breezy and light with a hint of sweetness. I really love this.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 4

Initial Impression: grapefruit, rose, amber
On Wet: amber, grapefruit, orris, rose, jasmine
On Dry: sugared grapefruit, rose and amber
Final Impression: Again, I'm shocked that the jasmine didn't take over. The predominate floral note was rose in this. Really lovely. A softer, warmer Delirium.

Initial Impression: orange and lavender
On Wet: orange, lavender, and jasmine
On Dry: the orange turns bitter for a bit before mellowing out and blending nicely with the jasmine (which isn't amping like crazy to my amazement)
Final Impression: nice for a hot summer day
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: mums and violets

On Dry: gone
Final Impression: Rather enjoyed it until it disappeared.

Initial Impression: blended floral, moss, very dry smelling
On Wet: light, very blended floral, very green
On Dry: green floral, soft moss
Final Impression: I really love this. The greenness and the moss really make this a gorgeous scent.

Initial Impression: lemon!!
On Wet: lemon drop candy and green tea, eventually some neroli wafts up and do I detect a hint of jasmine?
On Dry: sharper lemon, green tea, hint of neroli
Final Impression: a more lemony Embalming Fluid that fades altogether too fast for me.

I was so excited to get this frimp because I used to wear a frankincense and myrrh oil back in my college days and I miss that wonderful smell.
Initial Impression: frankincense and myrrh
On Wet: frankincense and myrrh
On Dry: more blended together and mellow
Final Impression: This is even better than that old perfume oil I used to wear. It's heavenly!

“The Beautiful One Is Come”. Egyptian iris and olibanum with red and white sandalwood, soft myrrh and a breath of North African herbs.
Initial Impression: iris, sandalwood
On Wet: sandalwood, myrrh, iris
On Dry: very blended but still predominantly iris, herbs, hint of sandalwood.
Final Impression: Not bad. I think I'll age the imp to see if it mellows out the iris and brings out the myrrh and herbs more.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 2.5 -
Initial Impression: strong beachy smell that tickles my nose
On Wet: strong aquatics, leather, gunpowder
On Dry: leather, gunpowder, that ocean-y smell again
Final Impression: Really nice summer fragrance. Different and interesting.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: caramel, vaguely floral
On Wet: mint, caramel, sage, the tobacco smells more floral/herbal rather than leafy
On Dry: tobacco, caramel, mint
Final Impression: Yum! I love this! It's not too sweet, not too anything. Perfectly rounded.

Initial Impression: almonds, myrrh, musk
On Wet: Very dark and rich. Musk, myrrh, almonds.
On Dry: Lightens considerably, perhaps too much? myrrh (which takes on an almost floral tone matched against the almond), hint of sweet almond and musk.
Final Impression: This is exotic, heady stuff. I only wish it didn't get so light on me at the end.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 3.5

Initial Impression: roses, hint of spice
On Wet: rose
On Dry: rose
Final Impression: It's fine for a rose, but I wish the spice stuck around. I prefer Rakshasa for a spicy rose blend.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 3

Initial Impression: lily, rose
On Wet: strong aquatics, hint of lily
On Dry: aquatics and a hint of flowers
Final Impression: Really interesting and unusual. Gave the impression of smelling flowers through water.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 2.5 only because I'm not all that fond of florals in general. For the idea and execution of the idea, I give it a 5.

Evocative of the sea's unplumbed mysteries. Gentle and lovely, but menacing and profound. Coconut, Florentine iris, hazelnut and opalescent white musk.
Initial Impression: coconut, musk, iris
On Wet: iris, creamy coconut, musk
On Dry: creamy coconut and musk
Final Impression: Never smelled any hazelnut as far as I could tell. I really loved this one. It was luscious and decadent!
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 4.5 -
Initial Impression: sweet pea, sage
On Wet: musk, sage, sweet pea
On Dry: sweet pea and musk
Final Impression: I really wish the sage stuck around, it made the scent more interesting.

Initial Impression: earth, smoke, exotic hothouse blooms
On Wet: a lush, blooming rain forest, fresh earth, hint of smoke (that, amazingly enough, isn't giving me a headache!)
On Dry: earth, hint of smoke and flowers
Final Impression: I want to live there!
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 5! Love!

Initial Impression: cake, honey, wine
On Wet: grape (tart, almost berry-like), honey (which I start to amp like a mo-fo after a while), cake
On Dry: the honey is shouting at me, some cake, faint grape
Final Impression: I could get cavities just wearing this.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 3

It's funny because I thought I slathered but apparently, since I only use a drop or two at the most, I dab. Imps last me forever. I can't even count how many uses I get out of one. I've only ever finished two (Dorian and Embalming Fluid-- two of the imps from my first imp pack). I don't need to use much oil because I tend to amp scent and any more would be overwhelming for everyone and would probably kill me with a migraine.
The Peacock Queen

Initial Impression: red rose
On Wet: the rose is very strong and there's the barest smidge of wax (almost like candle wax)
On Dry: rose
Final Impression: Between Rose Red and Peacock Queen I'd have to say I prefer Rose Red for the hint of green it brings.
Rating (on a scale from 1-5): 4
