  1. Bottle : Wet peaches and dark perfume.

Skin, Wet : Patchouli and peach, still dark.

Skin, Drydown : Slightly woody smelling, musky with the patchouli and peach fading.

Skin, Dry : Very light. Peaches are there and so is the warmth of the amber, overlapping it. Very pretty, a little smoky almost.

  2. Twin to Deimos and child of War, Phobos is the embodiment of terror and mortal fear. Chilling white musk, lemon verbena, white grapefruit and lemongrass.

Bottle : Lemon and lemongrass, very citrusy. There is a background of a chill wind somehow, which is very nice.
Skin, Wet : Bitter lemon and lemongrass. Smells like commercial household cleaners as soon as it starts getting warm from my skin.
Skin, Drydown : Mmm, sugared grapefruit and lemonade?
Skin, Dry : Lemongrass and lemon again, more like cooked and sweet than cleaning chemicals. Still none of that pretty cold musk scent at all.

    ETA : Lab Description.

  3. In the bottle and on me : Amaretto and Pepsi. Dark, liquid, spicy, sexy. Strong, but clings to the skin. Very little outward throw, nice for a cloud of your own private scent. Lasts. And lasts. And lasts. Very little change on me with the drydown, it goes from being "wet" smelling to "dry" smelling, if that makes sense at all. For some reason I really don't get huge vanilla out of this, more like a vanilla in chocolate scent.

  4. I'm new but I'd like to give this a go, if that's all right. biggerCritter is my first BPAL ever. So I'd like to preserve what I think of it now, just in case my scent tastes change later down the road.

Wet, in bottle : Sugar cookies and rotting vegetation. Something's fermenting in there? Maybe it is the way the grapefruit mixes with the florals. It does kind of smell a little boozy.

Wet, on skin : Sugar cookies and floral. No citrus at all.

Dry, on skin : The Jasmine and Gardenia come out to play. They're very muted but still heady/sweet - controlled by the underlying vanilla scent. Finally there's a little fruityness too, not citrus specifically, but definitely a fruit/sugar kind of smell nicely blending them together.

Additonal notes : My skin seems to pull all the scent into this right in. It is barely noticeable after two hours, even with oil/lotion put on the skin first. At least on my wrists. It seems to last longer on the cleavage, probably because my shirt is protecting the oil from wind/sun. It also smells REALLY good in the sunshine. I feel like the "color" of this is a very wispy almost white lavender, with (again, very pale) pink and yellow swirls. I smell nice, but not in an overpowering way. Still need to test it on hubby though. :P

Bad : The smell makes me hungry. Very hungry.
