  1. Deep, luscious green and berry scents that evoke images of woodland witchcraft and the raw power of nature: blackberry, sage, green tea, wild berries and dark musk.

Full disclosure, my imp is at least 4 years old, but may be as old as a decade. There is a chance it may have simply soured rather than aged gracefully.

All the listed notes sound like it would be up my alley, but it went immediately NOPE on application. Wet all I could get was generic bodywash berry scent and something acrid and chemical. No tea, no herbs, no green. The acrid smell lightened quite a bit upon drydown, but it kept the generic berry scent.

This smells like something I might have bought at Bath & Bodyworks 15 years ago, but not something I care to smell like now. There is a part of me that wants to get a fresh imp and try it again, but considering any full bottle I may acquire will probably be around for years before being fully emptied this result doesn't bode well.

  2. I had been curious about this obe for a while and got it as a frimp from the lab.

Fresh from the bottle it was almost unbearable because my skin chemistry amped the juniper like crazy and it just made me smell like gin. I lucked out though and after about 20 minutes it mellowed out quite a bit. An aquatic note came out and reminded me a bit of a sweeter, greener irish spring soap which I wasn't super thrilled about. After another half an hour or so it morphed again and became a wonderful green, woodsy scent which I don't have the words to describe beyond a desperate need to get a full bottle.

Very gender neutral, but can clearly run more masculine or feminine depending on a person's skin chemistry.

  3. Umlaut was available on the Mutter Museum's eshop last week, but today when I went to order the entire page had disappeared. Does anyone know if it is simply out of stock due to holiday demands or if it was suddenly discontinued?

Edit: It's back on the Mutters website! Hurrah!
