    The Apothecary

First impression: really really good tea with a hint of lemon and herbal sweetness. This one didn't morph at all on me, and it was really light but had a STRONG throw! It's so bizarre because usually light scents disappear within a couple of hours, but this one stayed all day long. Even after I took a shower I swear I could smell a faint hint of it. I'm glad it wasn't a stinker This is a very neutral scent and perfect for spring/summer.

    Twilight

Yay for frimps! In the bottle, Twilight reminds me of New Orleans, it must be the jasmine and honeysuckle which I always associate with the city. A touch of lavender rounds out the scent. I sneeze a couple of times when I first put this on. Lavender always has that effect on me. About 30 minutes later the jasmine and honeysuckle really come out to play. Overall it's a really light scent. I have to stick my wrist right up to my nose to smell it. It's really pretty.

    Rose Moon

In the bottle, Moon Rose is super rosy. I just get rose rose rose and maybe a touch of lemon. When I first put this on, I was overwhelmed with patchouli. I usually shy away from patchouli or heavy woodsy notes because they give me headaches, so I was a tad apprehensive. Later it calmed down and the rose became more prominent along with some sweet flowery notes, which I'm assuming are the lilac and honey. I usually wear Two Five Seven when I want a rose scent and it's clobbers me with it all day (which I love, don't get me wrong) but Rose Moon is a more sophisticated subtle blend on me. I will definitely have to wear it more than 20 minutes to appreciate the full value of it, but so far I'm very happy

    Viola

What a pleasant surprise Viola is! I received an imp of this in my order and I was a little timid about using it, because any kind of amber and sandlewood tends to disagree with me. The rose and lilac notes are wonderfully rounded out and the warmth from the woodsy notes actually make it very sophisticated. The amber and sandlewood lingers gently in the background and surprise! I actually love it. I might have to pick up a 5ml of this.

    Two, Five & Seven

I must confess I'm a bit of a rose-a-phile. I instinctively hoard the Fresh Cut Roses Yankee candles and tend to sniff every single rose at the grocery store. Coupled with the Alice in Wonderland theme and I was sold on Two Five Seven. It was actually my very first purchase from BPAL and I couldn't be happier. Straight from the bottle I actually found it very sickly sweet and I worried it might be a little too sweet for me. As it dried I was enamored. It made me dizzy! (in a good way ) Gone were the fears it might turn into a powdery old lady smell. Every so often I will catch a whiff and wonder what smells so wonderful and then I realize it's the oil! Nums. I just want to dot it on everything I have. I love wearing it to bed and smelling my wrist as I drift off to sleep. Love love LOVE it!
