    Come to Me

this smells very aquatic on me. Musty, wet florals, with a some lingering herbs. Fades away after an 3 or 4 hours. Pretty nice, sort of relaxing, but didn't really make me feel in any particular way. Not sexy.. at all.. if anything it makes me want to clean things.

    Fallen

This is a very pretty floral on me, I don't really get any vetiver at all. If anything it reminds me of an airier black dahlia which i suspect is due to the sandalwood. Very pretty, although probly not my favorite floral. Dry down is light sandalwood, a hint of very pretty musk and a trace of bright florals. This is one of the prettiest musk blends I've smelled to date.

    Temple of Dreams

I get lots and lots of lavender from this one. Of the sleep blends, this is the most mellow to me. Much less tart than the others. When I finally decided on a sleep oil it was between this one and Baku, ultimatly Baku won cause it was stronger, but Temple of Dreams is still very lovely and very relaxing before bed.

    Horn of Plenty

wow, I know this smell somewhere! But where? some reason my instict says holiday/novelty shop, maybe some sort of a doll? It smells sweet and thick, almonds, herbs, alcohol? Smells almost plasticy at first, and then it mellows out to a sweet almond and that odd scent I can't figure out. Not an every day scent, but whatever it reminds me off conjures up good memories, so definitly a keeper.

    "Warm" scents?

Bastet is really warm on me, and I think Sin was too.

    Nephilim

when I first put this on I get methol coughdrops, for sure. definite cough drops. Ten minutes later, it mellows out. Incense, nice! a hint of wood (cedar?). smoky. dark. but yet... the methol cough drops linger, leaving sort of a cold sensation to the smell. I like the dry down a lot, but the start is a bit unpleasant to me.

    Brisingamen

This is very pretty on. Golden, and soft, with a hint of apple and florals. I like amber alot, but it smells sort of weird on me sometimes and I get this in here too. I want to like this! I do! But it sort of gives me a headache and makes me feel sickly. damn,

    Anubis

Ok. I don't even know what the things that are listed to be in here smell like in their own. But I do know that this smells like the perfect match for Bastet. I get alot of the same notes in the two, or maybe they just feel the same somehow. But to me this is the masculine counterpart of Baset. Incense, yes! Honey, I think so! Sweet, sticky smoke, and herbs! Yes! This smells sweet one, not like candy or fruit sweet, but a sweet smoke. Very interesting, very warming, and almost a bit nausiating. I can see how people are undecided on this one. At certain points this smelled amazing on me, and at others "whew! Why do I smell like a bonfire of crazy magical wood?" Definitly will keep the imp until I figure this out!

    Nanshe

This is much more lemony than the other sleep scents. And i guess lavander, but it blends deeply with the citrus and it smells weird on me. This is not nearly as sharp than the others, and a bit sweeter, more mellow perhaps. As for sleep, I had some sort of dreams, can't recall them anymore though.. hmm... I prefer the sharper ones, they knock me out faster it seems.

    Medea

First on: nightime, in a field. Reminds me of a darker glasgow for some reason. Things you would smell in a field. Plus something more, something juicy! Here is the currant. Burtsing and juicy. Very red. After a while the currant tones down, and I get a hint of orchid and incense. Still the meadow scent though, mingling with it. This is very pleasant, but doesn't really make me go WOW like some other scents I've tried.

    Prague

I get fruity too, juicy and sweet. But not candy sweet, just a hint of berry sweey. And white flowers, and spring time, and petals falling from trees. I like this! If I were to choose a young, innocent scent it would be this one. It's not nearly as sweet as the other scents I'd group with this, nor as tart as say, the unicorn. It fades away to just a tiny little hint of flowers (and candles?) after an hour or two though. Nice spring scent, a bit too young for me maybe.

    Chiroptera

Very clean lemon and bright florals. Started to go Pledge on me, but luckily it mellowed out into a nice bright lemon instead of the cleaner lemon I usually get. It smells sort of like a lemon bar with flowers in it! Some thyme, but not nearl as much as Calliope had. I do like this quite a bit. It smells very bright and cheery to me. This would be a great spring scent, and I really like, but I doubt I'll get a bottle since it's an LE now. I would hate to find I truly love it and then not be able to get anymore.

    Aeval

maybe I'm craaaazy, but to me this smells just like the spice/herbal notes in Queen of Sheba minus the almonds. Which, means, that this smells like tea cakes on me. Metaphysical teacakes maybe! But some sort of spicecake all the same. Must, soft and nice, but not really me all the same.

    The Moon

oooh noo, I get Jasmine like crazy! Jasmine and I guess Gardenia (which always smells like brown sugar to me for some off reason). I can't wear my jasmine this strong, it leaves me smelling like a bowl of rice and sugar. But for people who like Jasmine, then you'd love this!

    Cathedral

hmn, i was hoping for more incense and less cedar wood. I like cedar quite a bit, but it's the incense in the cathedrals that I love. I can smell a cathedral, a lofty wood buildings, but I don't get as much of a kick out of this as I tought. Oh well, at least I like cedar.

    Nocnitsa

This smells almost exactly like Skadi did on me. A forest, but a really sweet, sweet pine/fir forest. I don't know why, but my skin turns evergreens into candy on my wrist. Sucks.. because I love the smell on pine and fir trees, but apparently I can't wear it. The sweet trees overpower any dirt, mosses or herbs in here on me.

    The Ghost

First off, let me say that it took me 15 minutes to get my bottle open cause it was screwed on so tight! So after thinking I might never get to smell The Ghost, I enjoy it all the more! In the bottle, smells like a hothouse, or a butter fly house or something. Like I would imagine a jungle to smell like. On, ooooo, lovely, soft, clean florals! For some reason I smell apple, there is no apple listed in here, but I smell soft white flowers and apples. The ultimate spring time scent. The is definitly a glee filled scent, in conjures up images of a ghost lingering around a summer luncheon to cause some trouble. In terms of other scents, it smells somewhat similar to hell's belle, but without the spices and soapyness. I like this alot!! I am really glad I bought a 5ml of this, this is a perfect summer day scent. Not too thick, just a ghostly hint of dry white florals. Perfect!

    Nosferatu

I got a 5ml of this unsniffed from a swap, and I'm very pleased! I get clean herbs, a traaaace of wet dirt, and not really wine, but I can tell there is something boozy hiding in there somewhere. This smells light yellow to me, very very clean and fresh. But not sharp, and not musty. This is fresh wet dirt. But not dirt in the same way as GothRosary's graveyard. This is much more blended with herbs. My favorite herb scent to date and will be great in the summer!

    What Scent Is This?

zephyr was pretty manly on me, remember that there is musk in it! To me that dominated any lemon scent.
  20. Lucretia

    The Unicorn

A misty, almost luminous perfume: wispy linden blossoms, white flowers, and a touch of sweet herbs. very white scent. Juicy and sweet, but sort of tart at the same time. I'm not sure what I'm smelling really, but some sort of sweet white flower with what feels like citrus but I guess is the herbs. A very clean fresh scent, but too sweet for me!

    Are bpal blends all-natural?

I am not that familiar with perfumes. But Beth is no idiot (if fact, she is brilliant!) and if the oils were dangerous she would say so. I've purchased other oils, and they have specifically, as you mentioned, said that they were not for contact with skin. But I'm sure Beth knows this and reasons that her oils are in fact composed differently and are not dangerous. I'm not concerned in the least. edit for spelling

    Bastet

Let me just start off by saying that I've already ordered a 5ml of this, because I looove it! Goes on almond, but then.... all these amazing spices and incenses come out and I smell like a church or a sacrifical offering. This scent smells so holy, so feline and so etereally beautiful on me. I just can't stop sniffing my wrists. I can't even place the notes, they all blend together into a smooth, warm and sultry exotic blend. Prrrrrfect if you'll excuse the cliche!

    'red' scents

Sin was very red to me also

    Faustus

Well, my favorite violet scent to date. This smells like dark smokey violets, not the icky violet candies i get most of the time. First on I get goneril almost.. there must be cedar or sometype of wood in here as well. That later fades and i get some soft smokeyness. Dark, like a smokey lounge, and yet somewhat sweet with violets. An innocent lady in dark circumstances. Nice! Will certainly finish the imp.

    Ravenous

a very unusual scent to me. First orange, with something tingly. Oddly this smells somewhat anticeptic on me for the first half an hour, like orange bactine or something. This must the fizzy people were talking about. anyway, that soon fades and I'm left with a pleasnt blend of orange and smokey undertones. Overall nice, but not really "me".
