I just received Toxin today via the raffle and I immeadiately applied some. In the the bottle I got a sharp floral smell, I can't say that I really noticed any citrus. On me it is, unfortunately, an instant headache, which is a shame because the scent is really nice. It's a really fresh scent, but it's aquatics/ozone and they always give me migraines. I might keep it around to try again but I think I'll have to send this to someone who will love it more.

Mmm, Monster Bait:Underpants
In the bottle, this is a very gourmand scent. I definitely get a cakey, foody vibe.
On me the vanilla is predomnant, with sandalwood adding some interest. I didn't really detect much saffrom or rum, but neither of those notes are traditionally strong with my skin chemistry. Hours later is dried to a yummy vanilla buttercream scent, with just-enough sandalwood hanging out to make sure I don't actually gnaw my wrist off. I'm glad I got a bottle of this!

Wow, skin chemistry is a wonder! I wish I detected the notes that other are getting. Honestly, on my skin I'm getting soap. Spicy soap. Weird and not what I was hoping for. Maybe aging will help.

What a gorgeous blend! On first sniff I get nothing but snowy pine/birch notes which really worried me - I'm not a big fan of those notes. After about 20-30 those notes have receded into the background and I'm getting a beautiful floral scent with a base of snowy branches - like a small patch of flowers in snowy woods. There's a hint of berry that wafts in and out as I sniff. Truly, this is a lovely scent.

What else could possibly be more lickable at Yuletide? This is a candy cane perfume, minty, sweet and sugared.
MMMmm, minty!
It's amazing how much it smells like the taste of sucking on a candy cane. Uncanny really. I like that the mint sticks around for a while instead of fading after 5 minutes. I know that mint isn't an enduring note, but it's nice if it lasts a while, especially when mint is a favorite note. After the mint fades a bit, the blend is a musky vanilla, with hints of mint in the back. I love this blend, so glad I ordered 2 bottles. -
This is a really yummy-smelling perfume
In the bottle I smell cinnamon cakes with frosting, and that's how it initially smells on me. The spice has gone away now, and the scent of cake with mounds of frosting. I don't get any cheesecake from this scent, but that's not a terrible thing, I hate cheesecake. It's a really sweet blend, but I like that in a scent.

Out of the bottle Moxie smells like freshly squeezed tart oranges.
Applied to my skin the oranges stay and I pick a sort of herbal background that my brain keeps calling basil. I think that's just me WANTING it to be basil.
It's really pleasant and mellows into orange/herby/subtly spicy blend. It doesn't have great staying power, I couldn't smell it at all after about 2 hours.
I love how this blend really kicks me in the ass - it gets me going and that's a great thing for this procrastinator. It was a really uplifting positive blend and I like it even more for the effects than the scent.

Shanghai is a lovely fresh scent. I love the tea and honeysuckle, very light.
Envy is another great fresh scent. Mint, lime and herbs, it just screams cool green freshness.
The Dormouse is another tea blend. It has a lovely peony note and just beautiful. Soft and fresh
Chiroptera is another lovely spring blend. Sweetly floral, with a hint of lemon. I have a 5ml on the way.

This oil was interesting. I didn't really get the snow notes that people have been mentioning and I got am almost spicey note as I wore the scent. I kept thinking why do I smell spice? and I'd realize it was me. It's nice, I think I have to reconceive my perception of this scent though.

Gingerbread Poppet is just gorgeous. I really love it. I find it doesn't change much from the scent to my skin - except that on my skin there is an initial peppery note that makes me want to cough or something. It's not sweet, more spicey and it's very festive.

Snow White
in Yules
It's funny how different people can be when smelling and wearing these perfumes. I don't get any mint or almond and only the barest hint of coconut. What stands out on me is the flowers. There really prominent, and they're backed by a creamy, sweet, milky note. There's a note in there that makes me think of a perfume from The Body Shop called Leap that I used to wear. It's nice, but not entirely what I hoped for. I'll probably swap away one of my bottles.

I so love this scent! It didn't seems particularly aquatic to me either. I initially got a fresh citrussy floral scent, which pretty much stayed true throughout the evening I wore it. I too felt regal and a tad haughty. I really slathered it on too and it's just such a perfect match for me. I'm so glad I bought 2 bottles of this

Mmm, I really like this blend. In the bottle I get buttery cookies, and that stays true when I apply it. The cinnamon that people mention didn't come out until the blend was dry and even at that it's not very strong on me. But then my skin seems to eat up spices, they aren't very pronounced on me. It's not cloying or too sweet like many foody blends can be. Sugar Cookie ends up being a fresh baked cookie sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. And now I want to eat one.

As so many others have stated, this is intially a very minty blend. In fact my first whiff was of mint and eucalyptus, and it made me cough. As soon as I put it on, though it became a minty floral, really lovely. As the drydown continues the mint disappears and the acquatics come out more. The lotus comes out on my skin, but lotus and I get along so it's all good. This is a soft, pretty perfume.

Proceeds go to Bat Conservation International. A bat-friendly bouquet! Evening primrose, night-scented stock, moonflower, night phlox, lemon balm, lavender, honeysuckle, sweet sage, salvia and thyme.
I just received a very generous gift of this scent and it is just beautiful. I had to try ASAP cause I was dead curious what it smelled like. It is very floral, very feminine and lovely. I can't pick out any distinct notes, I think the moonflower and honeysuckle are strongest on me. It's just a sweet soft floral with a herbal edge. I think I need a bottle of this. -
Chiming in - it's a good ideaand one I'm glad to see implemented. Makes this section easier

I agree, this scent is beautiful, I wore it to church yesterday, I thought it was appropriate. I'm finding out that I don't like ozone but thankfully it doesn't stick around for very long. It is indeed a watery floral and just smells so lovely, very calming and relaxing, sweet and fresh. I really evokes it's name. Lovely!

I ordered this hoping for a cocnutty scent and I wasn't disappointed. On me this was all coconut, with a hint of lime and mint. Actually if I had one minor complaint about the scent, it would be that they aren't strong enough, and that the mint doesn't last long enough. I loved the initial phase on my skin where the mint and cocnut really mingled. It dries on me to a pure coconut scent, very tropical. Very nice!

Gluttony is ultimately far too sweet for my tastes. And far too strong. I seriously felt like I had overindulged, to the point of feeling ill. It's just too much for me, and it was hard to wash off too! This will be a swapper.

I voted Snake Oil as well, all though I think antimony makes a good point. If you smell strong, no matter good you smell, it's unpleasant. Dab with care!

Initial sniff: A fresh green scent
Initial wet: Very green and fresh. Definitely a spring in Northern Canada kind of feel.
Drying: The scent is shifting on me. The green aspect of it is fading and I'm getting a rose scent, with a hint of soapiness.
Dry: The rose has receded to the background, the scent has softened and it's soft fresh floral
This is very nice and a real spring time scent. I'm glad I have a bottle

This is the first frangrance that I ordered a big bottle of as soon as I read the description. I was a little wary of the iris because florals have a tendancy to be really strong on me but this blend is fab.
The initial sniff from the bottle was coconut with depth, the hazelnut I'm guessing
On me the scent is initally strongly coconut (yum!) and the hazelnut adds a nice nutty warmth to the scent. The iris really hangs in the background (sigh of relief) rounding out the scent . Very evocative of both the sea and a black pearl. Very gorgeous.

Initial sniff: Smells citrussy, with a patchouli base
Wet: Ok this smells soo familiar... what is that scent? And then it dawned on me - this smells like LUSH's Amazonian massage bar, which I adore. For the record some of the oils in that are Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Patchouli, and Orange Blossom.
Drying: This patchouli deepens on me, this smell is getting earthier, I'm not sure that I care for it with that much patchouli
Dry: The pure patchouli phase hangs on for a while, then reverts to it's earlier form of citrus/light floral/patchouli. It's nice.
This wouldn't be a big bottle purchase for me, but I'll keep it handy for when I use Amazonian to moisturize and decide that I want to smell like that (which happens occaisonally) Ultimately I'm not a big patchouli fan, so I doubt I'll use it often but the imp is nice to have!

The link provided in the announcements doesn't work for me (for whatever reason) so I went hunting for info about Le Pink Apothecary and found this. Now I really want to go and not just for the BPAL, it looks gorgeous!
