You would have probably *loved* Skadi... I love Skadi. It was a wonderful spicy pine. I just ran out and haven't been able to get ahold of another bottle thoughAnyhow. I would recommend Mistletoe after that. Mistletoe is one of the best BPAL blends ever (in my humble opinion, lol). It's wonderfully green and snowy, but sweetens up quite a bit in the drydown.
If you like Skadi you will enjoy Snow Moon - so very similar! More so than Snow Bunny - which starts out piney when wet but unfortunately drys down to an AquaNet hairspray smell (which was so disappointing - I was looking forward to the "girlie perfume" note as in so many Snow Bunny descriptions.)

O
in Ars Amatoria
Enticed by vanilla and amber I gave "O" a try. it's the first one that completely disagrees with my olfactory. sickly sweet with no trace of vanilla and the amber is lost in the honey. it's true what they say - it DOES smell like sex. a little too much for me - it must be the honey or something that smells like sweat and grabs the back of my throat. a definite sweat note in there. not for me but maybe I can swap it or a pal might have better luck with one.

the Bpal description for DEPRAVED is absolutely perfect. the apricot note was a surprise making it a very bearable, wearble patchouli. a drop lightly rubbed on hands run through hair (so others catch a whiff and enjoy) lasts all day. another tiny drop daubed on pulsepoints for self-serving sniffing all day. a gorgeous and very unusual combination. My favorite oil so far ! I will wear a lot and get many 5ml or 10 ml bottles.

I love rose scent . BLOOD ROSE is moist, juicy, fruity black cherries and mature roses. not too heady. a bit medicinal but very likeable. drydown is very nice and long lasting. an interesting rose scent. sensual and lady-like. I will wear this alot - for day or night. will purchase a 5ml.
Different smells/colors, same perfume

My first 5ml bottle of Morocco smells so different from the imp I got long ago - the bottle has a very sharp, almost metallic/tinny aspect to it, it really puts me off.
I'm attracted to the creamy, almost spicy vanilla element in the imp and was so disappointed with the bottle - but I'm glad to read it's a common issue and aging the oil seems to be the answer. Now I will go read about properly aging the oils.....
I shall be patient during this wait time...and be a little sad everytime I see my empty imp (I'm keeping it just to sniff and enjoy now and eventually use as a refillable, portable Morocco for my purse).
Also, I JUST discovered Antique Lace and will get a bottle at the next will-call....it sounds like Morocco lovers enjoy AL as well. Sounds hopeful!
