Sweet, salty, peanut buttery Snake Oil, like Mouse Circus without its creamy notes with a dab of Snake oil. The saltiness is amazing and makes Snake Can smell edible but fancy.

I already expected this to be my favorite thing ever, because I love the smell of bread and bakeries.

Unwrapping it, I get the delicious spices that remind me of Exotic Bazaar.

Can I die now? This is amazing. This isn't the weird straight-up bread scent of my dreams, but I expect this to be a hit for many. Can it always be winter, because I want my room and life to smell like this all the time. Ok.

I didn't think the sweet Yule pastries would be so amazing. When I was hoping for bread out of this, I was hoping the pastries wouldn't be too prominent or sweet. BUT OH BOY. In the immediate spray, the sweet pastries combine with the spices to make something that just puts me in heaven.

When it's dry, I mostly get the spices again that remind me of Exotic Bazaar (probably my 2nd favorite atmo behind Pumpkin Spice Flan...and now my 3nd favorite behind Baker Shops). The pastries aren't as strong, and there may be some buttery bread underneath. So good! I'm excited to see how this settles/ages.

After falling in love my first bath oil, I have high hopes for this.

In the bottle, I smell what is listed. Such a warm scent.

As it's drying on my skin, the prominent cocoa reminds me of El Dia de los Reyes. I wish I was getting more shortbread, but there is a light yummy cookie-ness under this.

I would so love to take a bath in this when I get the chance. Super cozy!

First, what an awesome label. Removing the bubble wrap, I could already smell this one. Faint soapy sweetness, like Boo.

In the bottle: Cookie!!

Wet: White chocolate brownies??!

Dry: It's slightly plasticky on me now, as expected from being straight out of the mail and me being straight out of the shower. It still reminds me of Boo but more buttery, butterscotchy than Boo. I was really hoping the fudge wouldn't be an overpowering chocolate note so I'm glad it isn't, though I wouldn't mind it coming out more.

I need to try this again, but since I'm impatient I dabbed some on my sweater for a test that wouldn't mix in with the body wash on my skin. It's similar to the sweeter facets of Mouse Circus. It is mostly marshmallow, but with more yummy, cakey things underneath. An easy to wear sweet scent that could layer with many things (like Stekkjarstaur)! I hope I can bring out more yumminess on my skin, because this is already a favorite.

This is a super milky, caramely, and spicy dessert. I almost feel like I'm smelling caramel popcorn. I love flan, and this is now my favorite atmo.

I've never been really drawn to BPAL's honey or apple notes, but I'm glad I took a chance on this because it's an amazing combination. The apple is crisp and tart, drying down into the most wonderful honey sweetness. I love how it smells like a juicy green jolly rancher at first, but is never too sweet. This scent makes me so happy. And look at those trick-or-treating cats.

I get a spicy, gingery pumpkin cookie. Always in the mood to wear this one.

I was afraid from reviews that I wouldn't like this and I was truly hoping for cream cheese, but this surprised me. It is medicinal and rubbery, perfumey and leathery? Not things I am usually a fan of, but this just works. It's dark, herbal, and slightly sweet.

To me it smells like pixie sticks! Basically candy powder of various flavors. Some butterscotchy note, mostly while wet. Must test more.

The Pumpkin Floss labels are adorable. Opens with tart, fruity currant, sugar, and pumpkin spice, developing into strawberry cream with a bit of plastic on me up close. I don't think my skin likes currants, but this is a such a playful and happy blend.

This is my first bath oil, and the best thing I've ever put on my skin. I've slathered in it all day as a moisturizer since receiving my Post package.
The pistachio and cream cheese frosting are rich and realistic, and there are delicious pumpkin spices that don't overpower. They bring back memories of some amazing pumpkin spice cupcakes I had at a baby shower recently. The cream cheese frosting was super sweet and indulgent, and pumpkin cake itself was fluffy and lightly spiced. With some extra cinnamon scent from the cinnamon broom being waved around the room beforehand. A great scent memory.

Anyway, I love how well this works on my skin and can't wait to see how it is in a bath. I smell delicious and can't get enough. Foodies, please give this a try!

BPAL vanilla!!!!!

This is what I've been dreaming of. Tombstone without the cedar, Golden Priapus without the juniper, and Stimulating Sassafras Strengthener with less fizz. It is rich and root beer-y.

 

Edit: I'd love to hear Love's Philosophy comparisons, as I haven't tried that.

The prominent coconut blends I've tried in order of favorites: Giljagaur, Death Adder, Snake Charmer, Snow White, Obatala, Black Pearl, Brown Jenkin.

Roses, Pearls, and Diamonds is also lovely but coconut doesn't stand out. MPF 13 from the trading post is great, but patchouli heavy.

I don't think I've tried Goblin but I'm sure I'd love it.

I think The Inn smells just like the inside of a candy bag! ToT 2009 is a sweet caramel with spices (it's just like a fall candle), so it is a bit like Giljagaur but I'm not sure if it smells like a mish mosh of goodies either. I hope you figure out what it is, it sounds interesting.

Snake Oil sounds like just what you're looking for, if you haven't already tried it. My GC memory is failing right now, but one very sweet scent that sticks out to me:

I use the nub in the regular caps, or wipe the oil from the outside of the bottle's neck. If I'm slathering, I quickly upend the bottle while holding it against my skin.
