I remember we did something extra speedy in the past. Maybe that’s still an option for 12 days? I’m a bit scared to host something like this on my own, but if you or anyone else is up for it, we may couple up as hosts? Open the topic today, questionnaires before sunday (or maybe even a bit earlier?). And then 3 or 4 weeks time to plot/stalk/shop. Shipping deadline would be monday november 30 for internationals (I’ll try to ship earlier myself, so when it would be up to me it would be fine to put the international deadline even a bit earlier. And a shipping deadline of december 7th for shipping within the US? And start opening on christmas eve? 
please let me know if you’re up for it ok?

Em- will co-host (thank you!), so we can get it started! Topic will be on later today, probably within an hour or so. Please mind we’ll have to speed deadlines up a little to make it still work and get all boxes at their destinations on time. But I’m sure we can manage 🎉

 

Farmers markets around me open in May. I would like to run a local-goods swap kind of like the Summer Vacation swap last year! Maybe sign ups will be around the end of May. Any interest?

It could probably work as a shotgun swap kind of like the Luper one - the biggest catch is international shipping.

Would anyone be interested in joining or co-hosting a pet spoiling swap? My dog could use some spoiling, and I know there are other pet lovers on the forum. I'm thinking something short, fairly cheap, and possibly with a combo of both items *for* pets and items *about* pets (e.g. cute cat socks).

Is anyone planning a virtual vacation swap? I really enjoyed that one last year! If no-one is going to do it, I might organise one myself! That would be my first time so I'll have to look at all the rules and such. I'm currently on vacation right now 😁 so that will take a week or so.

I have scoured this forum for comparisons to the departed Tramp. I have spent COPIOUS amounts of money and tried to even have the scent recreated on Etsy - all in vain. So far I have narrowed down these as being potential Tramp dupes based on previous posts on this forum:

Greed

 

 

I realize once they are on my body, they will transform... so.... just IN THE BOTTLE - what do you guys think smells most like the beloved, the revered, the sacred scent of Tramp. I love it so much I can't even function.

 

I have bought patchouli and oak moss combo oil - nope

 

I have bought weird combinations of patchouli and oakmoss with other things... nope....nada

 

I could just buy all 4 samples of the above but I'd like to know opinions first. I really really would appreciate input here.

IMO, it would be safe to loose Dance of Death. Have you tried Zombi or any of the other dirt oils?

I found Bpal and this site by accident while doing a google search for, "Smells like Tramp".... so I've never bought any Bpal products. That's interesting you say that about Dance of Death because that was the google result that landed me here. Many others say it smells like. But you don't think so? I'll look up Zombi now...

Remember the FireBall candy? Don't know if that still smells and tastes the same as the last time I had one must have been 25 years ago But well, that's exactly what it smells like to me.

 

Lots of cinnamon when in the bottle. On the skin there's still cinnamon mostly but also the cherry starts to come out. I'd describe this scent as a very spicy-cinnamon'ish cherry.
