I am a patchouli loving fool, but the patchouli in this is decidely different from the stuff I usually gravitate to, which is typically the more classic, familiar, hippie-ish patchouli. Perhaps it's the white tobacco that softens it. On my skin, there's a slight hint of vanilla or black tea after drydown -- it's hard to place, but a little sweet, and a little spicy, and very clean.
A really complex, lovely fragrance with real staying power.

This scent has completely seduced me. I bought a bottle at the Lunacy event in February, and then ordered two more (though I gave one to my daughter). I seriously think i need to order a few more to stash.
Snake Oil tends to turn a little sweet on me, so the leather note in this makes it absolutely perfect, and it lasts a very, very long time.

I am brand new to the forums, but these are my current favorites. Thanks for any recommendations you care to offer!
Sin
Malediction
Dragon's Musk
The Black Rider
Bloodlust
If you enjoy The Black Rider, I would recommend trying Rogue from the RPG line as well. It shares that rugged leather note
If you liked Sin, you might like Vixen, too!
Thank you so much! I will check out both of those.

I'm clearly in the minority here, but I finally tried out an imp of this today (I'm embarrassed by how many imps I haven't tested out yet) and I'm completely in love with this scent. Amber usually really amps on my skin, but this is really subtle and warm on me: lots of incense, gentle amber and patchouli, and a slight whiff of smoke. I love this fragrance and will buy a bottle when I place my next order.
